The Wrose Bull in Bradford

Was working in the area and decided to have a bite to eat. A meal on my own expecting to just be left in a corner and ignored but far from it. Caroline and Emma were great hosts and it was nice to see the chefs helping out and interacting with customers too. Great food too thanks Ben, Oliver and Hannah, I had the barbacoa steak and it was delicious and cooked to perfection.

From start to finish dining experience was so good the food prepared by Chris was cooked perfectly and don't be put off thinking the 2 meals for £12 will be small....definitely not. The Wrose Bull is my regular pub for family get-togethers and entertaining guests and visitors. Good food and great value, welcoming atmosphere - what more could one ask?

Visited mid afternoon few other people in, we had good service and the was OK.

Very Friendly nice place, Lovely Meal, just had to wait a long time due to food that dropped on floor in the kitchen, but did compensate by giving us free suite. Reccomended

We came for a meal with our 1 year old who is quite the sassy thing at the moment. They catered to us so well. Jodie the owner got the kitchen to get Enya my daughters food out first, so she wasn’t having to wait too long, and she served us all really lovely cooked food. She helped us clean down the table that a glass was knocked over by my daughter and she went above and beyond to give us a great dining experience. Would reccomend. Thank you

The Wrose Bull: A Perfect Family Night Out! Our family of four had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Wrose Bull on the evening of January 27th, 2025. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub itself is charming, with a lovely ambiance that made us feel instantly comfortable. We decided to stay for dinner, and we were so glad we did! The food was absolutely superb – clearly made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Every dish was delicious, and there was something to please everyone in our family. Honestly, it was one of the best pub meals we've had in a long time. But what truly elevated our experience was the incredible staff. Katie and Guy were absolutely brilliant! Their friendly and attentive service made us feel like valued guests. They were so helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening. Their genuine warmth and enthusiasm truly shone through. We honestly cannot fault a single thing about our visit to The Wrose Bull. The combination of delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service from Katie, Guy, and the rest of the team makes this pub a true gem. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Wrose Bull to anyone looking for a fantastic place to eat and drink. Celebrating a friends' birthday with a small group. Food excellent. The people who ordered the fish and chips were particularly pleased with their choice. Service good. Staff helpful and friendly. A good experience.

I ordered 2 x 0% drinks and had drunk half of mine before I realised only 1 was 0% and me as designated driver was drinking a 5%. The staff were extremely apologetic but I feel they should have offered to replace it

There was a bit of a wait until we got served, but once we were, the food arrived quickly. The portion sizes were good, the food was red hot and was good value for money. The pub was very cosy and the staff were friendly.

The steak was cooked to my order to perfection! The rest of my plate was just as exceptional! The staff, particularly the young lady that served us, was pleasant, polite, cheery, and professional! I would give 6 stars if it were possible!

The service is great! The food was very good The pub has a nice atmosphere! BUT The menus are dirty, it doesn’t take much to wipe them! No salt in shakers on tables, easy to rectify! On the whole love this place but with a little more old it would have 5*****!

A family birthday celebration and the Wrose Bull was requested :) so I made our reservation online via the website. Our reserved table was in a busy spot right near the main bar area which at times made conversations difficult when other guests were calling across to one another which was irritating … BUT … the food was really lovely & tbf it wasn’t too long a wait considering how busy it was & we enjoyed ourselves! ALSO they happily swapped peas for baked beans on one meal which was appreciated especially as it must have been so busy in the kitchen! If you visit don’t forget to pop your car registration into the thingy on the bar.

We went early doors at lunchtime and the food was lovely. It's not been a place I visit often, because the food is hit and miss, but it was really nice last week.only complaint, there were 8 of us, we ate just after 12 and no attempt had been made to clear the table when we left at 2.30. Still piled high with plates and empty glasses.

On arrival we were told that the kitchen was closing and they didn’t have enough staff and a limited menu This is after we booked the table a week before for 2 special birthdays After speaking to a member of staff who was also there duty manager we were told what was said above but we pointed out that they could have phoned us to let us know what was going on. We then had to find another place to eat at the last minute and get another taxi to get there Totally un professional

Lovely pub the food fish and chips and Belgium chocolate pudding with ice cream was superb. The only blip we had was parking. The car park is managed by a third party company who are over zealous but the pub management (Emma) sorted it out quickly.

Booked a table for the 30th May for my birthday arrived at the pub couldn't find the booking then ask for a gluten free menu they told us it was on the main menu and showed us the items with v no that vegetarian and vegan not gluten free when I booked I did ask for gluten free and they told yes if my family would have eaten the food she would have become poor then gave her a tablet to look at which didn't do any good as she no good with technology some older ppl don't use these tablet needs to have a gluten free menu and learn abt gluten free which is so different to vegetarian and vegan

Visited this pub for the first time . I had a sirloin steak ,the worst I've ever had . It was chewy and full of grissle. Was on a bed of very greasy onions and loads of them ,I don't think there was any need for this . Mushroons were swimming in juice . I left the meal and wouldn't recommend.

We are ‘Pensioner ladies that lunch’ careful how and where we spend our money and we enjoy a ‘meal deal’. We received a lovely welcome by the friendly staff who also explained the car parking system. Fans of a ‘sharing platter’ we added calamari which was unrecognisable because it has disintegrated, the 2 garlic bread slices were opposites 1x golden and the other small, hard and burnt :( Everything was deep fried (on enquiring this was confirmed) so at a guess it got 2-3 minutes too long because the chicken wings were hard and the meat ‘woody’. Our lovely server couldn’t apologise more but bless her she didn’t cook it. Sadly our much anticipated joint birthday lunch was a bit of a ‘let down’ we will go again, hopefully with more success next time. ***Updated March 2024 been a few times since with hubby & son; food has been very nice (although things have been missing but staff too busy for us to bother them). Had steak meal a few times & cooked as ordered:)

Been coming here a lot recently but the food as really gone down hill staff are lovely and welcoming need to sort the food out as other people were also saying the food was not as good as it used to be maybe need to get a new chef or retrain the one they’ve got

I always come here for meal, it’s close, welcoming and really nice cheap food. I went here today and order some starters that were apparently for three people.it was £10.49 for each plate. The amount on the plate was very disappointing. Each plate was just enough for one person

First time visiting this pub in many years but I won’t be returning .. but the service and staff were lovely .. we booked a table for 10 Easter Sunday.. both tables were not clean .. the whole place looked dirty .. we moved tables .. what did we have to eat, we’ll try what didn’t we have, no onion rings, no curly fries, no rice, no naan bread, no fish and chips, no sticky toffee pudding, my friends mixed grill was cold, very poor and it’s not cheap .. we booked for noon so feel sorry for the people who have booked for teatime, no excuse to run out of food at 12 Noon on Easter Sunday The food we did have was mediocre..a fellow diner i spoke with said it was poor too and apparently a new menu aswell,

Tried out the new menu, ordered the falafel & spinach burger and the laying it on chick burger, delicious! And the Guinness was very good with the shamrock drawing, thank you!!

I've visited many times, says it all really! Lovely food, friendly staff, plenty of parking (register your vehicle at the bar regarding parking, which is free). Loads of choice for food and drinks. Real ales is served also. I will visit again and recommend!!

The Bull is a pub first which serves food our party of 5 had lunch and then settled down to enjoy the day at 6pm we were told we had to move from our table as the 3 tables had been reserved not for eating but for the Quiz night , it was raining but we ended up in the garden in the huts as the pub had no room left full for the quiz

The staff behind the bar with very helpful and friendly bea and caz and the food was beautiful the best we have had in a long time we will be back very soon X

Amazing food- amazing staff- amazing manager. Honestly could not fault this place at all- everybody goes above and beyond to make sure everybody is satisfied including kids!! Also would recommend the quiz on Thursday nights - again a great night out. Keep doing what your doing :)

My husband and I got surf and yurt ‘sizzler’, it wasn’t sizzling so our food was sat on a bed of raw onions, both steaks over cooked, mine was burnt not just charred.. burnt, the cook must have known this but still served it burned side down!! , scampi was over cooked, tomato was raw. We thought we would try this place again as it is local to us and was told they had a new chef and manager. But still very poor. If the cook can send food out like that we will not return until they get another new chef that takes some pride in what they are serving.
