A real hidden gem. Food was beautiful, fairly priced and staff were really helpful.

Food could have been a bit warmer though .

Had my grandmas wake at the crown today and the food was lovely they opened the pub early for us and the staff were perfect! Thank you guys

Been here a few times. The drinks are decent tbf. Good choice. Staff are nice. The biggest issue is the food. Had food here 5 or 6 times now and can probably say it’s only been decent once. There’s always something we want that they don’t have. Came recently on a Saturday afternoon to do the offer on the small plates, of which 3 of the plates weren’t available. When it did come, one dish had stale bread so sent it back. Previously we’ve had nachos and it’s come with no sour cream. When asking for more we were told they didn’t have any left. Would have loved to have known this before we ordered. The nachos weren’t even nice. Very little consistency. Occasionally dishes come with something like tomatoes then you can have it again and it won’t come with it. One of the worst green king pubs I’ve been to. I love coming here for drinks and watching the football but the biggest thing wrong with the pub (which I understand isn’t their fault) is the regulars. Or in particular one regular who always has an issue with the football being on or something personal. Not going to lie, will probably stop coming because I don’t enjoy coming here anymore because of that and certainly will not be ordering the food from here again. The only reason I’ve ordered food so many times is because I think it’s got to be better this time. But it never improves. The quiz is normally good but will unlikely come back. Depends what you want from a green king pub tbh.

Didn't eat here on this occasion. Had a look at the menu though. It seemed good. Nice selection well stocked bar. Was quiet for a Saturday evening .

Friendly and helpful staff. I took some friends for my birthday. Unfortunately, most vegetarian dishes were unavailable. To their credit the team made a great effort and we all had a great time.

Went for a steak last week.Absolutly horrible rump steak so fatty could not chew it.The price was around £15 very expensive for a greenking not many people in won't be going back don't think greenking will last long around wibsey and great horton.

We always come here for food and drinks, as we live nearby, ordered two roast dinners, because we have ordered this before and was lovely, but today it was served in a dish and not on a plate as a Sunday dinner should be served, also had five carrots, bowl full of sprouts that we don't eat, no peas as shown on menu one piece of broccoli was served more for children in a bowl , we use regular and don't expect food like that,

Called in for lunch with my sister in law - friendly warm environment, enjoyed our brunch very much indeed - Steak & Ale Pie , asked if we could change to chips n peas & gravy instead of mash & veg & gravy , absolutely no problem what so ever - big pies them and was all hot and delicious, crusty delish pastry- will deffo be back to eat - Thankyou very much , welcoming lovely staff ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Definately worth a visit, it's a great social pub with good food and good choice of draft beers/largers etc.

It was our first visit and we found a thriving, friendy, welcoming local. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the meals were first class. There were also 3 cask beers available which was a pleasant surprise.

Love the place we haven't been for a while.owing to home issues.now called back in.laura and her team made us very welcome as soon has we walked through the door what a lovely welcome back. Lovely local pub. This was our first time, and the staff were so friendly. We only went for drinks this time, but the food looked and smelt so good. We will definitely be going back to have a bite to eat. The pub was clean, and plenty of seating was available inside and out. The drinks were well price and great variety to choose from. Sports on TV and the have plenty going on each week. 10/10.

Lovely pub ,staff very friendly food was lovely too maybe cook vegetables abit more ,I found them too hard otherwise Sunday roast was spot on.

For years we have come to the crown for a pub lunch and have always been very happy as I've put in my previous reviews but just recently they have changed the menu which includes upping the price of the mains meal deal and taking the pies lunch off of this deal. I understand that prices go up but there was no need to take pies off, that's all my son will eat. Although the fish and chips are still on the deal the past 3 times we visited they have had no fish meaning we had to leave as there was nothing else we liked. Please put the pies back on and make sure you have plenty of fish 🙂

Date 8/7/2023 had a hunters chicken , chicken all dry and sauce was burnt on top chips not fully cook my partner jad stake was tuff ask for it medum bit come out over cook , ladies toilet could do with a goosed scrub on toilets seat on the ladies they was broken off 2 out of the 3 mens toilets stunk of pee need a good clean tables need a good clean down as they felt sticky bar staff was friendly that's bout it really if when back in it would only be for a drink

Went with my family and friends for a great pub lunch meal. Got a load of small plates, steak and children’s meal. The chef Sheridan sent out the food and it was amazing. Worth the money!! Has a games table you can help yourself to, entertainment for the kids whilst we waited for our food. The outside area is beautiful aswell. All round brilliant pub, lovely atmosphere and service with a smile!!

Cheapish, bit cheerful but nowt to write home about. Alot of chairs covered in various liquid stains don't exactly add to the place...accidents happen I get...wash/treat/replace/remove " LOOKS MINGING "

Great food. Three hand pulled real ale. Very competitive ( cheap) price on one of the pumps. Busy atmosphere, good to see that even on a mid afternoon on a random weekday it is a bustling local.

The food was good, however half the menu wasn't available because they were changing it, staff were polite and really helpful, will go back and hopefully they will have a full menu, the only thing that let it down.

Been coming here for quiz since we could after lockdown. The staff are friendly and fun and polite, even when some customers are quite rude to them. The beer garden has been renovated and will be lovely to sit out when the weather picks up. It looks fabulous! Great local, great staff and we would recommend it, especially Millie's quiz on a Thursday 🥂 ❤️

Honestly so disappointed with this visit. We love coming to the crown but unfortunately today's visit just wasn't up to standard. On ordering our food there was a number of items unavailable, which I think is terrible from a kitchen management point a view. It's a Saturday, surely you'd make sure that all items are available for potentially one of the busiest days of your week. We got a starter to share (Bao buns) the bun was cold and chicken was tasteless. Main meals were then served and the starter plate was left on the table. I ordered the Katsu chicken which is usually great but regrettably the chicken was overcooked. The outer coating could have chipped a tooth. Chips were overcooked. (Picture attached) My partner got the Salt beef and cheese burger which he said was lovely. Thank you. Now for the worst part, our son ordered the fish fingers after not being able to have the pizza and I honestly don't know what part of the bottom of the fryer they found these. The chips had no potato left. I've attached a picture to this post because I can't quite believe a chef/cook has let this leave the kitchen. It is their responsibility to ensure that the food leaving the kitchen is fit for consumption. I would honestly be ashamed. No check backs were done at any point, with 3 members of staff and a quiet period. We will return for quiz night but potentially not to eat.

We go to the Crown regularly the food is good value for money and so tasty . The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is homely and traditional .this is my favourite place to go in bradford . Also Brigitte our waitress was so lovely and polite we couldn't ask for anything more

Visited the crown on Monday 23rd Jan for lunch. There were a few ppl eating and some others just drinking in the other side of the bar. We didn't book but fortunately there was a few tables vacant. Went to the bar and ordered drinks...

I don’t usually write negative reviews but this one had been playing on my mind so I thought I’d give fellow trip advisors the heads up. We hadn’t booked but figured it wouldn’t be that busy and tried our luck. It did look fairly packed...

Food was great service a little slow, it was the day after New Year so will defo revisit. Fairly priced.

On visiting the crown for the first time in many years we found it to be very clean pleasant & nicely decorated but unfortunately left a little disappointed due to the lack of meals on the £12.99 range been unavailable having choose something else minus the sauce my meal arrived very dry but was soon dealth with & was very nice unfortunately that was not the only disappointment we had as we wanted to order a mini desert with a coffee which was also unavailable to which the staff again apologised for it was just unfortunate that we choose that night to eat out

Terrible customer service! Served by Abbie, I ordered drinks first and got my daughter a fruit shoot.. came to then order food including the meal deal for the child, I then asked if I could have a refund on the fruit shoot and have it in with the kids meal so I didn’t have to pay twice, she then said this couldn’t be done and just did a sarcastic laugh and just said ‘sorry’. Including in the kids meal deal was a drink and three course meal, when the food came I then mentioned that she had forgotten the starter, she then was really rude and just said ‘I did check your order with you!’ But I will go get you the starter. When we was leaving she then said that I still had the starter to pay for! But why was I paying for a starter that was included in the meal deal I said? She just then insisted that it still had to be paid for it? I refused to pay for a starter that was included in the meal deal, Abbie then just said ‘oh it’s fine!’ In a rude manner! I do have to say one positive, the food was lovely, but based on the customer service we received and the way they speak to you I will not be returning.

Booked a family Xmas meal for the family . When we arrived the table was dressed superbly with crackers and a festive table cloth . Food was exceptional for the price paid . Laura the manager ensured all our needs were taken care of ....

Was a baby the first time I was taken in this pub and have visited many times throughout my life. It must be a few years since I last visited and the food then was terrible. I'm pleased to say that the food was superb and the overall menu was varied and at reasonable prices too. Definitely worth another visit.

The staff and management here are just the friendliest, kindest and most welcoming bunch of people I have ever come across in a pub setting. They're always happy to go the extra mile for you and ensure you're looked after and treated well. An absolute credit to the business. The beer garden has just been given a great makeover with huge outdoor tv, great for sports with plenty of screens around, whilst also have smaller sections for quieter customers. Great range of drinks and food on offer. My only suggestion would be to either call ahead or get there early enough for the kitchen as sometimes it is closed earlier than advertised (sometimes due to be quiet, sometimes due to large parties). Well done to the team and keep up the good work!!

It's a cosy little place with some parking right outside it. Food wasn't bad but I've had a lot better. Staff seemed stressed out and almost to the point of being rude even though it was very quiet in the pub. It was early afternoon and they were already running out of certain foods and had taken a few things off the menu
