Amazing food, amazing service Lovely place to go, very family friendly

Great mixed grill and halloumi flatbread...good beer and cask marque certified beer at really quite reasonable prices…..and table service for further drinks! Well worth a go if you're a local!

Food was fresh and tasty. Clean and spacious. Becky on duty was very friendly and helpful…above and beyond what I’ve seen from other establishments. Happy staff. Nicely decorated with Halloween for the kids. Pleasant atmosphere. Easy to park. Music not overpowering. . Supported poppy appeal too.

Absolutely love coming to the crown for food! Dog friendly pub they even cater for your dogs to! Was a very hot day my hat goes off to all the staff who was very busy and very warm they kept their cool and just got on with it! I will definitely be back with my family

Always have the best time at The Crown! The staff are lovely and helpful and the food is always delicious. If you want to make any adjustments they are happy to do so. Fast service and great value for money. The new menu is great we love the salt and pepper chicken and the hot honey burger.

The food was absolutely shocking the corn on the cob was rock hard nearly broken my teeth off it and the fish it was just dry and over cooked we ask for halloumi fries just tasted like pure batter and we ask for no sweet chill sauce on them and got sent with the sauce on it

Food was absolutely shocking got a roast Sunday dinner and I Didt even eat it. The turkey was like jelly and the beef was like rubber. The vegetable was rock hard. Same with the kids food absolutely disgusting. The food use to be lovely really did. So shocked with the chef. I Wouldt recommend to eat at this place unless they get a propper chef. Really disappoint to hear the staff swearing behind the bar well my kids are stud at the side ordering food with me too.

Called in about 5. Ordered Pulled Mushroom Chilli, piping hot, very tasty, had a slight kick, but could not fault it. Staff very attentive. Had an enjoyable couple of hours with a friend, nice background music, not too loud. Very enjoyable.

Love my Tuesday or Thursday visits here with family , lovely food , lovely staff - lovely & clean environment, fantastic outside area with TV too , called today and had a fabulous de-constructed mixed grill for my dietary needs , brilliant how they let me swap and change items on the dish , to suit my slimming world needs , it was banging and so accommodating, brilliant , my mum had fish n chips , perfect - Thankyou xx

Oh wow our meals were absolutely banging , took my mum & sis in-law , friendly staff , lovely clean environment, reasonable prices and I loved how they changed up my mix grill to healthier options for my dietary requirements- it was amazing , our regular Tuesday visits are ongoing - yummm

Been here a few times. The drinks are decent tbf. Good choice. Staff are nice. The biggest issue is the food. Had food here 5 or 6 times now and can probably say it’s only been decent once. There’s always something we want that they don’t have. Came recently on a Saturday afternoon to do the offer on the small plates, of which 3 of the plates weren’t available. When it did come, one dish had stale bread so sent it back. Previously we’ve had nachos and it’s come with no sour cream. When asking for more we were told they didn’t have any left. Would have loved to have known this before we ordered. The nachos weren’t even nice. Very little consistency. Occasionally dishes come with something like tomatoes then you can have it again and it won’t come with it. One of the worst green king pubs I’ve been to. I love coming here for drinks and watching the football but the biggest thing wrong with the pub (which I understand isn’t their fault) is the regulars. Or in particular one regular who always has an issue with the football being on or something personal. Not going to lie, will probably stop coming because I don’t enjoy coming here anymore because of that and certainly will not be ordering the food from here again. The only reason I’ve ordered food so many times is because I think it’s got to be better this time. But it never improves. The quiz is normally good but will unlikely come back. Depends what you want from a green king pub tbh.

Didn't eat here on this occasion. Had a look at the menu though. It seemed good. Nice selection well stocked bar. Was quiet for a Saturday evening .

Friendly and helpful staff. I took some friends for my birthday. Unfortunately, most vegetarian dishes were unavailable. To their credit the team made a great effort and we all had a great time.

Went for a steak last week.Absolutly horrible rump steak so fatty could not chew it.The price was around £15 very expensive for a greenking not many people in won't be going back don't think greenking will last long around wibsey and great horton.

We always come here for food and drinks, as we live nearby, ordered two roast dinners, because we have ordered this before and was lovely, but today it was served in a dish and not on a plate as a Sunday dinner should be served, also had five carrots, bowl full of sprouts that we don't eat, no peas as shown on menu one piece of broccoli was served more for children in a bowl , we use regular and don't expect food like that,

It was our first visit and we found a thriving, friendy, welcoming local. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the meals were first class. There were also 3 cask beers available which was a pleasant surprise.

Lovely local pub. This was our first time, and the staff were so friendly. We only went for drinks this time, but the food looked and smelt so good. We will definitely be going back to have a bite to eat. The pub was clean, and plenty of seating was available inside and out. The drinks were well price and great variety to choose from. Sports on TV and the have plenty going on each week. 10/10.

Lovely pub ,staff very friendly food was lovely too maybe cook vegetables abit more ,I found them too hard otherwise Sunday roast was spot on.

For years we have come to the crown for a pub lunch and have always been very happy as I've put in my previous reviews but just recently they have changed the menu which includes upping the price of the mains meal deal and taking the pies lunch off of this deal. I understand that prices go up but there was no need to take pies off, that's all my son will eat. Although the fish and chips are still on the deal the past 3 times we visited they have had no fish meaning we had to leave as there was nothing else we liked. Please put the pies back on and make sure you have plenty of fish 🙂

Date 8/7/2023 had a hunters chicken , chicken all dry and sauce was burnt on top chips not fully cook my partner jad stake was tuff ask for it medum bit come out over cook , ladies toilet could do with a goosed scrub on toilets seat on the ladies they was broken off 2 out of the 3 mens toilets stunk of pee need a good clean tables need a good clean down as they felt sticky bar staff was friendly that's bout it really if when back in it would only be for a drink

Went with my family and friends for a great pub lunch meal. Got a load of small plates, steak and children’s meal. The chef Sheridan sent out the food and it was amazing. Worth the money!! Has a games table you can help yourself to, entertainment for the kids whilst we waited for our food. The outside area is beautiful aswell. All round brilliant pub, lovely atmosphere and service with a smile!!

Cheapish, bit cheerful but nowt to write home about. Alot of chairs covered in various liquid stains don't exactly add to the place...accidents happen I get...wash/treat/replace/remove " LOOKS MINGING "

Great food. Three hand pulled real ale. Very competitive ( cheap) price on one of the pumps. Busy atmosphere, good to see that even on a mid afternoon on a random weekday it is a bustling local.

The food was good, however half the menu wasn't available because they were changing it, staff were polite and really helpful, will go back and hopefully they will have a full menu, the only thing that let it down.

Been coming here for quiz since we could after lockdown. The staff are friendly and fun and polite, even when some customers are quite rude to them. The beer garden has been renovated and will be lovely to sit out when the weather picks up. It looks fabulous! Great local, great staff and we would recommend it, especially Millie's quiz on a Thursday 🥂 ❤️

Honestly so disappointed with this visit. We love coming to the crown but unfortunately today's visit just wasn't up to standard. On ordering our food there was a number of items unavailable, which I think is terrible from a kitchen management point a view. It's a Saturday, surely you'd make sure that all items are available for potentially one of the busiest days of your week. We got a starter to share (Bao buns) the bun was cold and chicken was tasteless. Main meals were then served and the starter plate was left on the table. I ordered the Katsu chicken which is usually great but regrettably the chicken was overcooked. The outer coating could have chipped a tooth. Chips were overcooked. (Picture attached) My partner got the Salt beef and cheese burger which he said was lovely. Thank you. Now for the worst part, our son ordered the fish fingers after not being able to have the pizza and I honestly don't know what part of the bottom of the fryer they found these. The chips had no potato left. I've attached a picture to this post because I can't quite believe a chef/cook has let this leave the kitchen. It is their responsibility to ensure that the food leaving the kitchen is fit for consumption. I would honestly be ashamed. No check backs were done at any point, with 3 members of staff and a quiet period. We will return for quiz night but potentially not to eat.

We go to the Crown regularly the food is good value for money and so tasty . The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is homely and traditional .this is my favourite place to go in bradford . Also Brigitte our waitress was so lovely and polite we couldn't ask for anything more

Visited the crown on Monday 23rd Jan for lunch. There were a few ppl eating and some others just drinking in the other side of the bar. We didn't book but fortunately there was a few tables vacant. Went to the bar and ordered drinks...

I don’t usually write negative reviews but this one had been playing on my mind so I thought I’d give fellow trip advisors the heads up. We hadn’t booked but figured it wouldn’t be that busy and tried our luck. It did look fairly packed...

Food was great service a little slow, it was the day after New Year so will defo revisit. Fairly priced.
