Very good local beers Very gourmet cuisine, and I'm French, so I have high standards. We had a wonderful time. A peaceful setting with a view of the river and the large park.

Very suggestive location, quite varied menu, very good meat and abundant dishes, local beers on tap, Good quality but slightly high price.

Love this place. Great location, the views are fantastic, menu is really varied and the vegetarian selection is particularly good for a pub. Homemade curries are way better than usual pub curry. Beer and drinks are good. Kids and dogs are welcome. There's no TV. It's really good! The only downside is it closes at 9 pm.

A bunch of us visited here one sunny afternoon and it was ace. Most of us had a roast, which was really well priced. The view out over the river was lovely and the staff were super attentive. Having a drinks menu wouldn't hurt though.

Me and my husband recently had an amazing meal here. We'd definitely recommend fish and chips and the chicken pie, both large portions and you could tell it was all homemade. A special mention to the lady (Alison) who took our order, nothing was too much trouble and she made sure we had a pleasant evening. We have recommended to friends and family and we hope to return soon!

Something for everyone. Comfit duck salad and delicious curries to pub classics, always done very well.

I’m very fussy with making sure i receive my order right I ordered my drink without ice and it comes with it I know it’s sound minor but it waters down the drink and can’t enjoy it properly

Food unfortunately was a let down. Clearly all frozen and not home made. Very expensive too does not justify the price. Sandwich and fries which had hardly any potato in coat £12 and the thick chips again are clearly frozen - £4 The hot beef sandwich states crispy lettuce however comes all soggy from the gravy. Would be better if they were home made

Primera vez que me siento agraviado por mi visita. Pedí la Brushetta, que ha estado bien en el pasado. Sin embargo en esta visita se entregó un plato con una rodaja MUY pequeña de masa madre y 4 tomates cherry cortados por la mitad Había una ensalada muy pequeña compuesta de brotes de guisantes. Cómo pueden justificar £ 8 por una porción tan exigua es increíble. Al menos en visitas anteriores había 2 rebanadas de pan y toneladas de tomates. Todavía no vale la pena el precio de £ 8, pero más tolerable

We thought of the boat house today for a birthday lunch due to the idyllic location .However the food was very disappointing.The pork pie was tasteless & the small portion of mushy peas were very dry & looked as they would if from the bottom of a pan .The scampi was just ok & placed on top of the chip for some reason ,these were also very dry & some even burnt therefore didn't complain about the small portion . Will not eat there again .

Helpful and friendly staff throughout the whole place, but a special mention is required for the restaurant staff, who were polite and helpful, despite having a couple of large parties to look after. Food was great. Atmosphere was chilled. Really enjoyed the whole evening. Thanks.

Dropped in for lunch without booking and was advised to grab a table as they get busy. Food was good, we had pizzas and I'd say they were more Turkish style, rather than Italian. We enjoyed the meal, but the waitress was very keen to clear our table, plates were taken while still finishing eating and glasses cleared as soon as they were empty. Felt a bit rushed off, despite there being a few spare tables.

It's a great little place with very good views over the river and roberts park. Not far from saltaire also a good stop if you are travelling by canal boat with easy mooring space and safe for leaving your boat due to the number of people walking on the canal. The beer is on the more expensive side but is a good pint with good choice of beer wine and cider also tea and coffee if you like that kind of thing. Busy in summer

Went on a Thursday night around 2030, walked in and the atmosphere was very flat , only 2 other customers in and the staff looked at us like we were aliens - and were told they had stopped serving. Not sure if we just picked a bad night or a bad time but will probably give it a second chance if in the area again

Didn't eat here but what I saw looked great. Great location with outside and inside seating. Staff were very friendly. You can buy tea and coffee as well as alcoholic beverages. Clean and tidy environment. The coffee was hot as requested and we really enjoyed it. Bought some local biscuits to bring home. Dog friendly. I would recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious; we literally haven't been able to stop talking about it. Menu was varied and had plenty of options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters, and the price for the quality was great. Portion sizes were big but not too much. Definitely going to return at some point!

Great place to come along to when in Saltaire. We called in for food and drinks on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of people were having Sunday roasts, and enjoying them, but we opted for the ploughman's sharing platter. The platter is excellent value for money - just £20. Lots on there to enjoy and all very tasty. Lovely views out the windows across the river and park opposite. If it had been a sunnier day it would be a great spot to sit outside. The pub had lots or alcohol free choices which was great to see.

Very friendly service with lovely food in a wonderful location

Visited on a snowy, freezing cold day, The bar was empty ( it was only nearly lunchtime), but it was lovely and warm, and staff were very welcoming. The place is dog friendly, but the must be on a lead. At that time of day and being empty, there wasn't really much of an atmosphere. But with its location by the river and having food available in the bar and restaurant, I am sure that the place changes considerably. If you want comfortable seats, the bar is not the place to be. The chairs and tables are all of the high type. I didn't go into the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. What did come as a shock was the prices, £26 for 2 beers, a coffee, a wine, and a short! If that's winter prices, I don't dare to wonder what they are on a hot summer day, down there by the river? Needless to say, we only had the one and moved on to somewhere else.

Called in after a day out walking , lovely place with good views of the river and countryside, friendly staff and nice atmosphere,loved the fire for a walm . Ordered the vegetarian roast dinner,which was baked feta with apricot roast,tasted really good ,was spot on for the price.

Went here with Family and had a good time. I got the vegan enchiladas and they were okay but the pies are lovely!! nice staff too :)

What an absolutely amazing place. Fantastic staff and service. Prices were low for the high quality of food served. Out of the 4 of our party, not a single complaint was had. Will be coming back for a Sunday roast many more times. Thank you guys!!

What a fabulous place. We were there to meet friends earlier in the day and later to have dinner. We booked dinner for 7 people but other friends joined us for drinks and the staff were wonderful friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Location and views are great and the whole place is clean and well looked after. The food was very good and reasonable prices. We had lots of different dishes, all really tasty and even a sausage on a tray for our dog. Plenty of veggie and vegan Wish it was nearer to home as we would definitely be regulars. 1st class in every way. Thank you 🙏

Visited The Boathouse with my daughter and granddaughter on a Tuesday afternoon . Difficult getting the pushchair down to entrance die to the stairs . If there was a slope entrance we did not see it . Once inside the staff were great . There's a really good choice of local beers including a couple of Timothy Taylors . Food wise I had the pork pie and mushy peas and we also had a caeser salad. Both very tasty . I recommend a visit to The Boathouse when you are next in Saltaire .

Was up here for the Saltaire Festival, and this pub was just across the river. It's in an awesome location situated right next to the river and across from a field. Has a lovely outside area with plenty of seating. Staff were friendly and it has a good selection of drinks. They do sell food but I didn't eat here. It does have a little bit of the "chain pub" feel which i am not too keen on but that's more of a personal preference. I would come here more often if I lived in the area if for nothing else than the lovely sound of running water outside from a small nearby waterfall.

A nice pub restaurant. Busy early evening on a Friday but quieter as evening went on. The food was great especially the steak, chips a little overdone but ok. Good choice of dessert. Gluten free and vegan options. Service was excellent.

Called for lunch and had the steak pie which was honestly the biggest and the best one I have ever had. Excellent service from the young waitress and very reasonable prices. Will definitely visit here again. Would recommend booking a table in advance as it got very busy.

When booking our table for 4 mentioned we would be having a couple of drinks before ordering food said not a problem. After arriving we got our drinks sat down at our table. After 10 mins they came for our food order, I mentioned we was having a couple of drinks before ordering food, 10 mins later back again saying they want our order they have a booking for 21 who will be ordering food. We said its OK we was ok waiting.We was still waiting for one of our party still to arrive. We was told we had to vacate our table by a certain time was not aware about that when we booked. Felt very uncomfortable and rushed as they kept coming to our table to make us aware, Including the bar man. We was away with 10 mins to spare. Why do they do that we was aware of the time scale after we arrived just let us relax and enjoy that time, that's all I ask.

One of my regular spots, lovely selection of beers, superb cappuccino, friendly personnel, not too bad for a quick bite and amazing views! Recently renovated with additional tables, better food choices but still cozy 😉

Ubicación encantadora y buen servicio, pero la comida era decepcionante. La hamburguesa era promedio pero las papas fritas eran insípidas y poco cocidas , las enchiladas vegetarianas se congelaban claramente y luego se calentaban lo que las hacía secas y duras, el relleno estaba OK. ¿Por qué el personal le pregunta cómo está su comida y luego se ve decepcionado cuando les dice que no era buena? No hay oferta para reemplazar / reembolsar. No volvería

We are regular visitors here as live locally. Came in for Sunday lunch today. At 5pm we were told there’s only chicken left. We accepted this and ordered. They take the money as you order. Waited about 25 mins which was ok but the food was terrible this time unfortunately. Every single item (meat, roasts and Yorkshire) was overcooked. All I could taste was charcoal burnt taste. Staff don’t act bothered. Nobody asks if everything is ok. Not good service to be honest and food really disappointing. Wouldn’t eat here again. Especially Sunday roast.

The sticky toffee pudding was terrific. It's worth coming here for that alone.

Came here on a late Saturday afternoon. Had the soup and a salad. Both were delicious.

We had lunch reservation for 16 people on Saturday 28th September. The staff were welcoming, the food and drinks served quickly nothing was a problem. Well done The Boat House.

Lovely riverside establishment, great food, service and really accommodating (was able to fit 17 of us in for lunch and managed to get everything to us we ordered with perfect timing, highly recommend for a quick drink/refreshments or if you are looking for good food!

A really nice pub with great view on the river. I loved the fact you could sit under the tree shade, inside or stand by the river. Great coffee! I was a bit sceptical, but was amazed with the coffee Josh made :)

Cozy upscale pub on the Aire River located between the river and the canal, and just across from Salts mill in Saltaire. They have a variety of seating, indoor and patio areas, all with a great view of Roberts park. An excellent place for a romantic date or a casual business meet up. Fabulous desserts...

A little more expensive than pub food but very good quality and ample portions. Also lovely location. We had never before but would definitely return.

Lucky for me I live just a stones throw away from The Boathouse. My visit was on the August Bank Holiday Monday 2024. Not only was it lovely to catch up with my partners brother. But to look out over the river Aire @Roberts Park whilst Saltaire Cricket Club played a cricket match on the very same Park. What's my point am I getting of the point of reviewing The Boat house experience that I had on that day. I guess if I was to bullet point this experience in order to try and get to the point as it were. 1 friendly staff 2 lovely pint well two pints Saltaire Blonde 3 quality food Pie N Peas 4 idyllic location 5 I will be visiting The Bathhouse again 6 I recommend that if you have not frequented The Bathhouse before put it on your list of pubs to visit

Pub/ bar overlooking the river Aire, a few local cask ales and the usual larges. In a nice setting with outdoor area . Worth a look.

Always enjoy the Boathouse. The food is lovely and the staff are kind and friendly. We've visited twice now for family events and really appreciate the food and the space to enjoy our family get togethers.

Sat outside, order seemed to be taking a while. Went inside to check and it had been ready some time ago and they hadn't bothered to bring it out. Food ordered was GF and DF, when it came out it was incorrect and was covered in cheese. Advise caution visiting here if you have allergies. Kitchen staff said they thought Dairy-Free meant no eggs!!

Only stopped for a coffee but other people had food & it looked good. Nice view

What a gem of a restaurant on our visit to Saltaire- very friendly staff and the food was delicious. We went for the curries as recommended by the waitress and we even had the chef explaining how he made them - they certainly didn’t disappoint.

A group of 11 of us all had a main course and there was not one complaint.

A group of us had been to Salts Mill then to The Boathouse Inn for lunch. Very good menu. No parking as it's near the canal.

I have worked in Saltaire for 23 years and I am ashamed to say that my first visit to the Boathouse was last Friday. It absolutely won't be my last visit. The food was absolutely lovely, between the four of us I had a chargrilled chicken caeser salad, friends had chilli and rice and enormous pizzas (they were given boxes to take the rest home - you need a big appetite!). The lovely young waitress made sure that everything was fine for us and was so friendly and welcoming. See you Friday coming
