The World Bar in Solihull

After visiting the family and friends summer showdown event at resorts world we decided to pop in to world bar on the terrace as the sun was out for a drink or 2 before going home. This contemporary bar with a great outdoor terrace overlooking the lake was great . BRAD who served me was so attentive we explained to the customer before me why there was a great busy vibe around resorts world during this summer showdown put on by Genting for all family and friends of genting staff across the UK. He welcomed me to the bar and very politely served me while being polite and attentive ans also said to enjoy our drinks on the terrace and to enjoy the rest of our day . BRAD is a credit to genting here at World Bar Resorts World and definitely deserved and mention . His customer service skills does not go unnoticed well done keep it up.

This is the first time we had visited world bar. On entry bar staff Brad and Richard made us feel so welcome. They had such good customer service skills. We do not come across this level or service very often. Nothing was too much. Brad needs a special call out as a young person new to the role, he has an incredible vibe and aside from the service he gave to us he was incredibly attentive and respectful to all customers. I spoke with all staff on rota this night, including Kay and manager Tilly who has created a really positive culture within the team.

Amazing atmosphere, great food and drinks also the waitresses (teegan and poppy) was amazing knew what they was doing and very polite. will be definitely recommending this place to family and friends

We visited resorts world on boxing day to unwind over a few drinks after a hectic Christmas, we found ourselves in world bar , we were greeted by a very lovely bar tender I believe she was called Gabriella very calm and polite and helpful when we asked about the cocktails, once she went through them how could we refuse and had to try a couple,she was very attentive. Next time we visit we shall definitelybe trying the food here too All the staff were dressed very smart in there uniforms and felt very welcome.

Attended a sublime concert seeing Tom Jones with my girlfriend this evening, 16th of December 2023. As we were staying at the Hilton on site we decided to go to the resorts world bar for an after show drink. Upon arrival we politely enquired with what we thought was the respectful doorman. What followed was completely unexpected. His rude and aggressive demeanour was a complete shock.. turns out politeness isn't a requirement for this pig headed silverback with the people skills off a crastrated llama. Not just for myself but the others around me, hoping for a quiet night cap. Put a complete dampner on the whole evening. For one we will not be retuning and I advise others not too, either...

Went last night before 50 cent concert, staff were really good and had a smile. Good selection of drinks and outdoor area if you prefer. So handy for concerts. Been a few times and always a good experience

We visited The World Bar for sole hosted drinks as part of an industry conference. While this probably didn’t give us the opportunity to experience the full offering of this establishment, what I can say is that the staff were fantastic. Quick behind the bar, polite and good for a recommendation - Richard was the stand-out barman for me. Great venue made for a great night - cheers!

Nice bar , great to sit on balcony, with views of the lake, and listening to planes coming and going ,lovely cocktail

First of all when I first stepped foot in this place I was blown away by the sheer beauty of this place, classy and elegant and you can’t really complain about that! The staff seemed very hard at work, and genuinely look like (even if it was only momentarily) they loved doing their jobs which made the experience even more worthwhile. At the till to take my drinks was a very pretty young woman named Teegan, who seemed full of life and attentive, also eager. The selection of drinks is vast and i couldn’t put my finger what to have. That is where Teegan stepped in, she recommend a few drinks to me. Her knowledge and enthusiasm was amazing, and was even more impressed when I found out she hasn’t been there long. So many positives about this amazing place! All the staff, Teegan especially are a real credit to their manager. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves a good drink and something to eat after you’ve had a few too many.

Don't know who runs this place but I'm surprised it's still open. We have been 3 times & everything we go they either have no food or no Draught beer. Very dissatisfied & disappointed, will not bother going again. Its a shame because the entertainment seems excellent.

Richard the bar man in The World Bar is exceptional, his attention to detail is spot on. Started pouring our exact drinks as we walked in that he remembered from the night before. Very accommodating and polite. Can’t fault the guy. In fact he was reason we came back.

I came out for some birthday drinks with some friends, and I’ve never met such a friendly team of bar staff. Tilly, Kyle and Richard were especially amazing, always recommended the best gins from their extensive range, as well as being very easy to talk to, a trait I highly value in a bartender. There was a great atmosphere, and all the food was delivered very quickly. I honestly can’t fault a thing, and I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!!!
