The best pub I've ever been to, I recommend it. Ana and Paul are excellent people. 😍

We stayed 2 nights @ standard double room (#202) Reception: Friendly and good explanation how to unlock the door. After, we did not see them again. When we left, the reception was dark. It felt like they don’t care about guests once they collected money. Room: Very tiny loft conversion. Not much space to move due to slope roof. Stained carpet, broken insulation door, a hanging cable, a stick ring out TV corner (easy to bump your head. No safety?) very disappointed. Shower room: Decent size and not bad shower. Toilet flush is random. Quite often no flush at all. No toiletries, no daily cleaning and no changing towels. Not very good service, except some discounts in the pub below.

The pub is perfect for drinks, Sunday lunches, a game of pool or to watch a football game. This is why we chose it for a private function, Ana and Molly were absolute superstars in helping us plan and execute a gathering, where the drinks flowed, the food was delicious and plentiful and all of our guests commented on how good everything was. Thanks to the whole team. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful evening, first time at this pub. Live band. Everyone so happy and friendly. The bar staff worked their socks off all day and all night. Anna and Paul were first class in hospitality and customer service, wish they lived near me i would be in there every night! Anna and Paul you are stars!!!!!!!

It’s an amazing pub! Wonderful staff! Ana is super friendly and always takes care of you! New pool table and dart board is a great touch. Food is always delicious and every night has a different theme which is so fun! P.S. love the new pizzas on the menu 10/10 would recommend!

Been to the pub a load of times over the years for football either England internationals or before/after Wimbledon games. I have now learned they are hosting Franchise fans for the game tomorrow, therefore you have lost a customer and I know I am not the only one.

Ordered a chicken burger and it had curry seasoning on the chicken which put me off, womp womp -BH Skinny fries were ok, not enough in a side though. - LH Absolutely class skinny fries, I mean I’m a fan of a good old chip but that was absolutely exceptional, brilliant from all. thanks Chef, up the barra soccer - LP

Been here a few times. Love the vibes. They have 2 for 1 cocktails on Friday nights, and I can't lie, the Long Island Ice Teas are bloody gorgeous. The lady behind the bar, Molly, is obviously an experienced mixologist. I've watched her perfectly craft the best drinks for an ever grateful crowd. The clientèle is pretty great here, too. It feels like a close family unit of patrons there, that know each other's names. Great vibes, great drinks, a fun night.

I went there just after new years for a quiet pint, ended up watching the Darts Championship with Fabian and Molly. Amazing service from them both, they made my time engaging and a lot of fun.

I love this pub .I always feel so welcome by both staff a regulars. I have 2 dachshunds who are also loved and spoilt with treats. All the staff are friendly. I've got to know Amy and Anna very well they are kind and always make my day .Great place to go x

Went there on Friday 8th December 14 of us. Would not be going back there. Unfortunately it was the only pub that was not booked up after trying a few this pub was still not booked up and could accommodate 14 of us. First impression was good but as soon as I got served by the barman who looked very smart and was pretty old it went downhill. Put it bluntly he was very rude. Food was very basic and over priced for what it was. Only good thing they had a singer she was good. As said all 14 of us would not return and definitely would not recommend.

Shocking service,, no beer, unfriendly staff,,, was supposed to warmly welcome away supporters...far from it... any other away supporters avoid this pub with a barge pole..

Great food, fabulous selection of drinks. Added bonus of many discounts throughout the week too as well as lowered prices if you're staying at one of their great rooms. About which, the quality of fixtures is great - rooms even come equipped with a fridge but then no light switches for bedside lamps, how bizarre! Staff are absolutely great - always attentive and welcoming! Added bonus of being a very short walk away from Wimbledon Park.

Everything was amazing. Especially the staff and the food; and the beer of course! Definitely our favorite accommodation in London. We are going to be back for sure!

Loved the place and vibes. The owners are supernice and helpful. Rooms were beautifully done, neat and clean. They made sure our stay was confortable. Food is good too. 100% recommend the place!!

Stayed here on my own for 2 nights while attending a work course nearby. Good food in the pub and the hotel room was very clean. Everything you need in the room. My only issue was I couldn’t get the wifi and when I connected to the pub one it kept dropping. Would stay here again.

We booked a last minute trip to London and I came across the Woodman whilst looking for somewhere to stay. My husband and I hand never been to that area of London so we were keen to see it. It was about a 3 minute walk from the tube station. Check in was quick, but the door locks are very high tech and I’m sure some people will have problems with them. The room was very clean and modern, and we got 30% off in the pub because we were staying there. We would definitely return here because we met one of the nicest staff, called Paul, who was so friendly and informative about the area. The Woodman are lucky to have such a nice member of staff. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Thank you for the hospitality shown towards the Stockport County fans yesterday. And a special mention for the state of the men’s toilets, which was very nearly immaculate!

Week 3: the booze tube ,around our world on a freedom pass: Measures are 25ml or 50ml so English More dog groomers than pubs,but we found the woodman and it's lovely here . Amy was the perfect host and even though there was drizzle outside ,inside just us dribbling our beer Amy chose our next station on the random app and it's......... Bayswater !

We held our sons 1st birthday party at the Woodman last weekend and it was an incredible day. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make the day so special. They sectioned off an area for our guests and allowed us to put up decorations as we pleased. I wasn't sure how much food to order but in the end, we had more than enough and everyone raved about how great it tasted. I bulk bought 6 bottles of wine which they gave me a great discount for too. Overall, I would happily book the Woodman for another event. The quality of food and alcohol for the price charged, especially for the area, was superb. Thanks again for a memorable day!

Fantastic pub for away fans visiting Wimbledon FC

We were at the Woodman for Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. Sadly the vegetables with our otherwise tasty roast lunch were cold when it arrived which rather spoiled the day. The problem was fairly quickly rectified and replacement hot vegetables were served, and a nice touch of a discount applied to the bill. There was a little lack in attention to detail - friends who ordered sharing chicken wings - which were perfectly good - were not given plates to eat from and we had to ask for serviettes. In all a reasonably priced meal but a little more care could have been taken.

Great pub, perhaps one of my favourites in London. Paul, who was on shift the two days we went, was great and made the place feel nothing at all like London.. friendly and local! Pints were good, and well priced on happy hour (!!) and the pub quiz was great too on the Tuesday.. all I’ll say is that the poor pub quiz master needs a microphone, because he had to shout pretty much all evening!

This pub has so many going for it, the staff really go out of there way to make you welcome. The pub hold regular events, I particularly enjoy the soul nights, great fun.

Great pub, always worth a visit

This pub was quite good but did lack the cozy feel of traditional pubs. More of a casual restaurant feeling. The young lady that was working behind the bar was obviously new but she was great. Very polite and really friendly. Food was a bit average, which isn't bad but certainly isn't worth making a special trip for. Overall a solid 4 star place in my opinion

Went with people from work. A nearby pub with a happy hour for beers. Stayed outside in the rain but under cover. Its ok. Difficult to park.

Amazing place - the team are just bonkers-ly good - welcome back the amazing Amy, the lovely Ana and the amazing Jerry who handles the Guinness just brilliantly. This is probably the best Guinness in sw19. My previous review….. Another Roast - belly pork Sunday and vegetarian meals. Awesome roast and all plates emptied. Great team and Brilliant Omar Mr Chef. My local pub; I am coming quite often here since I moved to the Wimbledon Park area and I really like it.

The Sunday Roasts were awful. Only the dog ate well as we put the food into a doggie bag. We had to wait over 40 minutes for the food to arrive after twice asking where it was. When it did come the vegetables were undercooked and the beef raw, not rare as suggested when we complained. We were given complimentary bottle of wine but had to by some nuts and crisps to stave off the hunger. We had been to the pub some years ago and it was OK, won't be going back again.

However the service me and my party experienced last weekend really felt like I was being serviced in a decent restaurant slash homely dinner. Our hostess, Amy: was very funny, friendly and took great care to our needs. Will definitely be back :) 100% Recommend the bangkok bad boy burger!

Despite the less than picturesque location, I am somewhat surprised to say I really enjoy this pub. It's never been "too busy" each time I've visited. They have happy hour on weekdays and you can get a £3 pint, which is quite rare and I can't remember the last time I saw that in London. Have eaten here once and it was totally fine although a little on the pricier side. Not a huge selection of beers but still something for everyone. Comedy here is good and the garden is very fun and sociable in the summer, despite the view onto the road. Has a charm that I can't put my finger on. Recommend if you're nearby.

For the 2nd year running my family and I had Christmas dinner at The Woodman and we had a great time, just as we did last year. It was very busy on Christmas day and all of the staff coped extremely well and were attentive, chatty and helpful. They worked so hard. Thank you to the wonderful team at The Woodman for looking after my family and all of the other guests for Christmas. Merry Christmas to the whole team from the Lowe family.

Just had Xmas dinner with my family we are a big group and they were excellent with us all the food came at the same time and they was really accommodating with everything even gave us a drink on the house really good team with a great attitude. I will definitely be coming back soon

We had a group booking for 74 people! They were the only pub happy to accommodate us all! The roast dinners were yummy, especially the pork belly. Loved the chef, super happy and helpful guy. Thanks to all the staff for a fun festive afternoon. 🎄

Great venue to watch a FIFA World Cup match between England and USA

Disabled access is only ok for wheel chairs, but older people on walking sticks have issues. Food, a Sunday roast was good, but advice is don't put gravy on dinner, roast potatoes were soggy.

Love this pub for a few after work drinks. Food is very good too.

Booked tickets to go here for the London Soul Club, Halloween Party, food was very good, DJ's and Music excellent. Dave Stewart had the pub rockin. Nice crowd too. Will be back in the new year
