The service was shocking. We were the first there but about 5 tables got drinks and food before we got our drinks, which I had to ask for twice. It was 45 Minutes. My partner left his latte with an extra shot!! (don’t t think so!!) it was just milk and water . My jacket potato was tiny, tasteless and over baked. Side salad was core of lettuce, one half of a cherry tomato and a half piece of a slice cucumber. Dismal. Never again!!!

For us this was one of the most disappointing breakfasts we’ve ever had - snotty eggs, thick bacon tasted awful not cooked as requested (we asked for it too be crispy) the tastiest part was the tomato’s - I had read the reviews and thought we’d give it and go but wasn’t for us at all place was very nice inside menu choices where better than most places. Good tea and coffee

Part of the complex to the caravan site but this is an excellent and nicely furnished cafe. Had a reasonable latte but a very good sausage bap. Loads of sausage on it ,which comes from the good butchers in Whalley. If that way would certainly visit again.

My wife, daughter and myself called in really just to speak to the staff about our granddaughters pool and birthday party food because she celiac and has to have gluten free food. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly, polite and very helpful , they couldn’t do enough for us. Their was quite a number of people eating in the restaurant/cafe so we decided to have a brew and sandwich each and we weren’t disappointed. I had a breakfast barm of Farnsworth’s/ Glamorgan sausages, my wife had the Chicken salad sandwich and my daughter had the Tuna, mayonnaise and red onions. The young waitress was smartly dress and very polite, well worth calling in and have a look. We then went to the swimming pool to where her party will be, and again the staff were very friendly and polite, and let us look around the pool area. Thank you.

Absolutely superb little cafe, we came as a large group of about 24 people, after a wedding day before we were made to feel very welcome. Really tastefully and lots of effort made in the decorations for Halloween. They had a second mezzanine style room that allowed to take over and have some chats and allowed to rearrange the tables. One the best quality and quantity breakfasts I have had in a long time, excellent sausage and bacon quality, good portion size and well presented. Great tasting coffee and good selection. My wife had a club sandwich- superb !! The service for the young staff was superb and worked very hard to serve us as we were quite demanding. The food quality and presentation never faulted despite large orders. I spoke with owner and chef who were appreciative of the business and very customer focussed. What a gem will certainly be going again and would 100% recommend to anyone. Great to support local small business.

Stayed at a cottage near Clitheroe with my partner and his sister and her family July 2021. Towards the end of our holiday we decided to find somewhere for breakfast and looked online found this place on a caravan park and decided to try here. It’s a nice little place and staff were friendly. The cooked breakfast was really good as was the coffee.

As group of cyclists, the Woodlands Cafe has become one of our favourite cafes. The food and drinks are the most reasonably priced of all - but the quality is excellent. From eggs benedict to just teacakes or cake, it is excellent. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and provide excellent service.

We have been to The Woodlands cafe several times now and it's so good we can't keep away ! Set in a lovely Campsite the cafe offers a wide range of delicious food at great prices. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly and the staff go out of their way go help. I am disabled and they have great disabled facilities a slope to get in and out snd a disabled toilet. The best cafe around by far and you feel like you have had a lovely treat !

Absolutely fab cafe, so cosy and welcoming. Barry and Antonia who were working there were so lovely and friendly especially towards our dog scruffy. So yeh it is very dog friendly. The food was great my husband had the 3 egg omelette which went down really well and the coffee is the best aswell. We have just recently bought a static on three rivers so this will be our breakfast place every Sunday. Such a bonus for the holiday park to have the woodland cafe as it is open to everyone not just caravan owners.

This cafe is lovely and we were given a warm welcome. I ordered the French Onion soup ( which is my favourite soup). The portion was very generous. The soup itself was so sweet that it could have been served as a dessert. There were no discernible pieces of onion in it and a big piece of very limp bread with undercooked cheese was floating in it. I had to stop eating it after a few mouthfuls as I am diabetic and the sugar content was way too high. It came with a big white roll already buttered. Not to my taste either. Luckily it was not too expensive but I had to go and find lunch elsewhere. No one came to check whether my food was OK or I would have said something.

I'm not to write negative reviews especially about local business, but I was really disappointed with our first and possibly last visit, last week. I was looking for somewhere family friendly to watch the Euro final, when I saw the advert for here. Messaged them to reserve a seat, said I would come down to pay a deposit, I was told no need and we could all order the food, we stipulated a time and told our table would be available. When we got there we were told that there wasn't a table reserved for us as a lot of people had been double booked. Just not good enough.

Got there today at noon after booking a table. Placed meals for 5. Something wrong with everyone. Couldn't have what we fancied as run out of bacon. So had to choose 2 alternative meals. Placed orders. Warm drinks were cold or gone by the time the food arrived. 45 mins after ordering. My sons cheese on toast was lacking in cheese. My all day breakfast was missing in, beans, only 1/4 of a mushroom and 1!/2 tomato. The falafel sajad, had the wrong bread and the falafel was missing. The scrambled eggs were cold. There should have been a cold drink included within the all day breakfast. Never arrived so when asked where it was after we struggled to get a waiters attention and we were leaving. Was offered a free one next visit. Confirmed there wouldn't be another visit. Had to complain to get the cost reduced for the missing items. Not a good father's day dinner. Never going again.

Had Lancashire cheese sandwiches which were superb with a great tasting chutney. Service was excellent. Glad that we booked beforehand. Cakes were nice but would have liked a side of cream

I visited the Pavillion cafe on Sunday for some lunch. I have a severe nut allergy (anaphylaxis) and therfore made the server aware when ordering our food. I asked for the fish and chips and she seemed very unsure so went to check with the kitchen which was good. After making me aware that nuts were used in the kitchen however were not used in any of the fryers I decided to go ahead with the order. However, before our food arrived she came back over to ask if I had my epipen on me which obviously made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe eating there. Therefore, when the food arrived I didn’t feel safe to eat it and had to give it to my partner. As an allergy sufferer I was very disappointed in the handling of the situation as every restaurant/cafe I have visited in recent years have been very educated on allergies and have been very reassuring and taken it seriously: checking if anyone has any allergies on ordering, providing ingredient lists and making staff aware which meals need to be prepared with more care etc. I am only writing this review in the hope that staff here become better trained on how to handle customers with allergies as I feel they were not at the standard they should be. I do not want to but a negative view on the cafe as the food looked lovely and my partner did enjoy the food.
