In for a midweek meal and was welcomed by the very friendly and helpful Liam and Ellie behind the bar. Delicious food prepared by talented chef Sarah. Highly recommend for good value food and drinks.

Excellent experience at the Windmill Tavern. The young ladies, Sarah and Yvonne, were very helpful and friendly. Food was lovely, the chef James was very knowledgeable letting us know the type of fish we had. Will be back again soon.

Recently visited with my family and young child. The food was delicious, loads to choose from. And plenty of options for the kids. Really enjoyed the sharing nachos and my burger. Soo tasty and great portions Great food, all arrived piping hot, together and quick. Staff were fantastic and ensured we had a great visit with the kids. Highly recommended and will be back.

New to the area came in for food with family had the mega mixed grill was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend to come here very cheap and the staff are great the grill who served us was Erin very friendly.

My fiancé and I had never tried here before so we decided to give it a go we chose the spicy chicken nachos for two for our starter we didn’t think it was that spicy but that’s because we like things to be really spicy we thought the chicken was really nice and we did enjoy the nachos it was a nice combination and was a good sized portion . We both had burgers we thought our burgers were really nice , For dessert i chose the brownie with ice cream Belgian and toffee sauce with melted galaxy minstrels and milky bar buttons and fudge pieces my fiancé chose the salted caramel profiteroles sundae but they gave him the wrong dessert and he ended up with the brownie as well 😂 but he decided to just have the brownie we both really liked the brownie however it was very filling and we felt really full after eating a little bit of it so would probably share it next time. Overall we enjoyed our food here .

Went to the windmill today with family for my nephews birthday. Wee had starters , mains & desserts and everything was absolutely perfect, food was absolutely delicious & if you have a sweet tooth i definitely recommend the dessert shop waffle . The staff were attentive & the place is lovely . Highly recommended.

Went to this establishment with my husband as it was the last day of my holidays and thought it would be a wee treat - I wasn't disappointed! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Yvonne was our server and she couldn't do enough for us. Great atmosphere - we will be back!

Booked in for dinner and was not disappointed. Starter of boneless chicken gougons was delicious. Main course, my mixed grill was faultless, and my partner loved her Mac and cheese. Puddings were tasty, Cadbury sundae really impressive, my sticky toffee pudding tasty, but a bit tiny.... Staff were lovely tonight. Really friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Dropped a star for the bathroom. The gents could do with a good scrub and a bit of a renovation. This is my second visit here, but definitely won't be my last.

Two courses for two on a groupon and the whole experience was superb. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was sizzling and very tasty. Large portions. Having looked over the menu we will definitely be back as the food choice is good and represents good value for money

Went on Mother's Day, the food was fine and the sizzling platters were really good, service wasn't great considering at 3pm the place was half empty. We were a large table and the drinks arrived for half the table and were slammed down in front of me to hand out to the top half of the table without even a word. We put in separate orders and when we asked why our drinks didn't arrive the waitress was really rude and demanded that my husband prove he had paid through the app and questioned it three times before we finally got them. I had ordered a cocktail and again got it slammed in front of me and the waitress actually put the glass on a knife and I just caught it from falling off the table. Our food order arrived at different times and I had to chase up one of the meals. Overall poor service so we didn't leave a tip although food was ok.

So.... Thought I would try this place again. Been well over a year and a half since the last visit and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. The standards seem to have improved and with it being decently busy that is a great indicator. And although the staff seem relatively new there is one familiar face who is always a delight to see - Holly-Marie, such an infectious smile and care free attitude certainly gives this place the edge (hint: hold onto the ones like this, gives that extra wee star!)

This site shows 4 out 5 stars. That coincides wite the number of meals I have sent back in my last visits to this establishment. I have heard it called cheep and cheerful but this is just Cheap and Nasty. Trying to blame young inexperienced on food being cold

Went there 3 weeks ago but I think they had staff problems, food was not up to standard but it did not put me off as I have had many a good meal there, have been twice since then and the food was great, staff very attentive and friendly, keep up the good work guys as this is my favourite place to eat every Friday

Came to the windmill with my partner and 3 kids on Wednesday 15th July for reopening night. We come here often for food and drinks and were looking forward to being back. Our visit didn’t disappoint, we were greeted at the door and given all the information we needed and shown to our table. Floor markings and signs all around to keep you right and hand sanitizer freely available around the pub. Food was delicious, especially the new nachos and my kids were loving having their favourite build your own sundae deserts. Staff were amazing as always and I’m sure we will be down to visit again very soon. Keep up the good work.

My partner and I visited with 2 of our friends on Friday night. We were apprehensive about returning but we needn't have worried. We were greeted at the door by the host and she explained the rules to us and pointed out all the extra features to help keep us all safe we were then shown to our table. The we were able to order and pay for our drinks via the app which added to our feelinf of comfort and safety. The drinks arrived quickly and the food was delicious when it arrived. My partner particularly enjoyed his dirty stacker which came with a beer or a £1! Overall we enjoyed our visit it was very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were brilliant we felt safe and will definitely be back soon. Welldone to the Windmill its great to see you open again and keeping us all safe.

After months of waiting and anticipation what a great start to the first day. Margo and the staff have given clear advise and guidance to ensure everyone enjoys the opening and stays safe. May be a long time before we are back to normal but very happy to be back and hopefully we can continue to make progress to full normality

Met friend for brunch on tuesday back of 11 was very quiet. The lady serving welcomed us in and advised us to choose any table we liked she brought us 2 lattes over we ordered and chatted to us about our plans for the day and made some suggestions from the menu for us. We had Mexican Chicken which was delicious and Fajitas with a side of curly fries. The food was delicious came really quick and the coffees were lovely. When we were leaving the manager told us about the app.and all the different offers we could get from it and showed us where to download it. She was really friendly and genuine we will be back again soon.

Very disappointed in windmill tonight being coming here for 30 odd years but noticed recently things not up to standard Fryer not been working for approx 3 weeks Our visit tonight at 6.15 only to find out no food being serviced as chef not felling well after us phoning windmill in advance Asked who was in charge twice member of staff had to go and find out Can’t believe that such a busy place can be brought to close kitchen when one person not feeling well Kitchen closed at 6 pm

Although it was a last minute drop in there were a few large parties in restaurant they managed to fit us in had to wait 30 minutes after ordering but were informed of of this at time of ordering but it was worth it hadn't been here for a while as it seemed to be going down hill a little bit but will certainly be going back meals were lovely and portions more than adequate well done.

For a busy pub you would think they could invest in decent decorations at Christmas time and sort out their TVs that lag. Money grabbers that put no investment into their establishment.

Went here today for family meal. All had different meals. Each one well presented food delicious and servings very generous. There was a 30 minute wait for food which we were informed of at time of ordering and we were fine with that. Food arrived in about 20 minutes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choices of food and drinks on menu. Very impressed we will be back.

Came into the Windmill withb a friend on our way home from shopping in town with the kids. The waitress serving brought us kids colouring sheets over to keep the kids happy. When we were ordering the manager told us that they had just started a new menu and explained which deals were on. The food came quickly and and tasted lovely, sausage and mash and mac and cheese for us nuggets and pizza for the kids. Kids loved their sundae ice creams and we loved the price. Great value, quick efficient, friendly staff we will be back with the hubby to try the chicken platter.

I was in the windmill with the family, there was 10 of us and the windmill staff managed to sit us on such short notice and sat us all together, the food came out fast and was delicious! The windmill have such lovely, helpfull staff. Will be back soon

In Saturday night for a long over due catch up with savannah & Louise. What a great pub! Lovely atmosphere & staff (Margo Demi & Hollymarie) were a delight. Loving the new cocktails! Wife and I just had a meal in the windmill. Lovely. The Slow Cooked peppered beef was amazing, very tender and flavoursome. My wife's hunter chicken was also tasty and hot temperature which is always a plus point! Thank you windmill for a lovely start to our holidays and very reasonable too !

Windy Miller stood atop his Windmill one day and looked down upon Camberwick Green to see that there wasn't anyone around who would be eating on such a lovely day. He decided to open an eatery based upon his home in a magical village called Viewpark. This was a magical place because not only did Windy Miller open his new restaurant there, they also had Karaoke nights and guest DJs at the weekend. The locals all rejoiced when they learnt that Windy Miller was selling up and Sizzling was buying it over because they had much better food than the trash Windy was serving. Drinks were cheaper too and the food was of great quality, whilst the outdoor area was well used during the warmer weather. Night night everyone, said Windy.

Awesome meal at the Windmill today. Had Ribeye steak peppercorn sauce and chips it was amazing my husband also loved his fish.. nice atmosphere in the pub Carolyn couldn’t have been more attentive we will certainly be back 2 this friendly pub. 😋😋

Had mixed grill... sent it back as steak was over cooked... 2nd attempt... steak still over cooked.. told waitress... no attempt to rectify... or even an offer of refund. If the chef can’t cook steak don’t have it on the menu. Terrible food and even worse service.

Amazing food as usual. Never fault the food and service. Husband loved the burger and the wee baba enjoyed his meal. I have tried the new Pepper Jack chicken in the new range it is to die for. I visited the windmill on Sunday for lunch after spending the day in Uddingston and the food was absolutely excellent and great value for money. The place was also surprisingly spotless as I was told by a friend this a pub often popular for football fans therefore normally I would expect the worst particularly in the toilets but they were some of the cleanest toilets and facilities I have ever seen in a pub/restaurant. Hats off to the management and their staff.

Myself and my family have eaten at the windmill regularly over the years and on the whole have been happy with the standard of food and service. I took my mum here today for lunch, I ordered chicken fajitas which turned out to be mostly a huge pile of onions and a few tiny bits of chicken the portion size was a total joke. When our plates were being cleared away I mentioned to our server about the meal, to say she was cheeky is an understatement she was bordering on aggressive behaviour. For a regular paying customer to be treated in this manner is not acceptable at all! Certainly no shortage of onions today at the Windmill only on the chicken and good manners front.

Don't come here on a Friday evening between 5pm & 7pm. I came here with my family and we were five minutes by our time for the next people who had booked the table. One of the men who was going to sit at the table came up and said rudely "you'll find it's five past five, I've booked the table for five" He then lifted our drinks away. My elderly mother was with us and she was shaken up by this. Apparently these men are allowed to book this table every week just to sit and drink alcohol. There is a bar next to the restaurant for that purpose.

Ordered a steak, cooked MEDIUM for it to arrive on my table 45 minutes later cooked Well done to the point it was cremated and tasted like charcoal. Sent it back and asked for another one, again MEDIUM. 2nd one arrived 15 mins later the exact same, slightly less cremated but still awful. Used to love the food in here but I’ll simply not be back.

Never usually complain about bad service just normally pay and leave but today I had the worst food in the world. Had to send the chicken and steak platter back as either the skillet or grill was that dirty my steak tasted of charcoal (not edible). The mash potato was also a mound stuck to my plate and was not soft, also non edible. No apologies when asking for my food to be swapped and slapped down on the table infront of me when it was.
