We visited Pea Porridge for a rare night out without the kids and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing. The flavours were so delicate but combined so well. Service was attentive but never bothersome. We had the best night and would highly recommend

Room looks magnificent, bed comfortable. But there's no water in the bathroom, hot or cold, there's no answer on the telephone when you call to ask them to sort it out, and there's no response to email. So disappointed that I can hardly begin to put it into words. No idea where I can go for a shower before attending a funeral this afternoon.

Lovely little cafe, welcoming staff, warm and cosy on a wet day. Only had a coffee so can't comment on the food. Dog friendly and she even got a treat.

The first encounter with staff was very abrupt and rude. We did not see any sign saying Wait to be seated . And I felt he scolded us like a child
