I can fully understand why this little gem is number one on Tripadvisor. We were staying in the hotel opposite and I saw the queue for The Whole Hog from my window! We decided to sample one of their amazing rolls and boy by far the best filled hog roast roll I have ever had! Literally full of tasty yumminess. Pork, crackling, stuffing, gravy and apple sauce in a wonderful roll, sat there on the sea wall making some unbelievable happy munching noises. Staff were genuinely lovely and helpful despite the queue and a gorgeous pupper on Covid safety duty at the door for roughings while you wait always a bonus!Unfortunately we didn't make it in time for the doughnuts & I stupidly forgot until it was too late on our way home but will definitely stop by again if ever we are in Lyme Regis.

We'd read it was good but didnt expect quite how good! The hog roast is delicious, tender pork with perfect crispy crackling and lovely appke sauce. The coffee was great, proper flavourful coffee which you don't often get these days in cafes. But the star of the show was the doughnuts..... Just pure heaven. The salted caramel doughnut on its own makes the 4-hour trip down to Lyme Regis worth it.

The Station Kitchen

10/10/2020: We came here having read the reviews and had a really lovely lunch. The carriage is really quirky and cool - absolutely LOVED the decor! The food was fabulous and Richard who served us was really great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant - it’s well worth taking a detour to experience it.
12/09/2020: Fabulous local find - completely different from anywhere else nearby in a unique setting (converted from the old, original West Bay train station and office/waiting room). The food and drinks were excellent - cocktails could’ve been a little stronger - and the service even more impressive. Highlights were the cheese scones and creme brulee. It’s not a cheap night out but worth it for what you’ll get. Recommend!

Three Horseshoes

16/09/2020: Well organised and very COVID aware with good social distancing. Good food, we enjoyed the lamb rump, mackerel fillets and sea food curry. An enjoyable relaxed dining experience.
16/08/2020: Family get together, warm welcome with covid security well covered. Service started quick, slowed as numbers grew. Share several fish starters, delicious, mussels, and lamb for mains cheese and ice cream was all we could cope with for desserts. A lovely pub noted for a return visit.
