On our way to Lincoln but got stranded due to floods and blocked roads. Saw the White Swan Inn So popped in and asked could we possibly stay the night on the carpark in our motorhome. No hesitation,we were welcomed and given perfect directions on how to avoid floods in the morning. We ate a very large delicious piping hot Roast meal with a big jug of gravy. Washed down with great beers. Lovely atmosphere, very reasonable price for the food and drinks. Back to the motorhome with our new directions to Lincoln. Slept like logs. Will definitely call back and really recommend The White Swan for great food and great hosts.

Great pint of Guinness and the Coors was also well served. Met a nice guy with a lovely dog called Sophie. Never tried the food but looked.

A great traditional and friendly pub. We popped in hoping for a quick bite to eat while rush hour traffic subsided. The set menu offers two or three courses but there is no option for just one course. A great pity because I really only wanted one course but ended up feeling pressured to eat two courses or a single course would cost £10! The giant Yorkshire pud with sausage was good though and so was the soup. They cannot provide a VAT receipt either which seems odd.

Very friendly atmosphere in this pub. They have live entertainment on every weekend and I saw the ‘Cher’ act recently there which was fantastic. The drinks are really reasonably priced and a really good range including speciality flavoured gins (my favourite tipple). We also went for Sunday lunch the same weekend. Again really friendly atmosphere, welcoming landlord and landlady and cheerful bunch of regulars. The dinner was delicious! Very generous portion cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

I was looking forward to dining here as a coeliac but the service I had wasn’t exactly accompanied with a smile. The gluten free pancakes that I ordered were delicious but unfortunately they clearly were not gluten free due to the terrible reaction I had later on that day.. very disappointing. Even though I confirmed with the waitress that the pancakes were gluten free!

Tucked away within an antiques emporium this little jewel. From entering the shop you’ll be greeted by a lovely gentleman. The food was exquisite made to order not mass produced. The taste out of this world. Skill, time and quality ingredients. We were blown away. Will definitely visit again! Worth seeking out!
