Absolutely wicked night . Went on a Wednesday and it did not disappoint ! Karaoke was absolutely amazing. Definitely not one to miss that's for sure

As I was outside the pub and walking down to the bottom of chepstow one of the bouncers grabbed my drink quickly from my hand aggressively and spilt it all over my white fur coat which was the only gift I had from my mum which is now stained from coca cola. The worst thing was that I was coming back to the pub waiting for a friend and hadn't even taken said drink from the lion but instead from a shop as it was in a plastic cup. If they had been polite instead of big headed and simply asked me to put my drink down, which I shouldn't have had to do anyway then I could have explained or of they did not believe me could have put it down. They obviously were trying to wind people up and cause trouble which completely ruined my night. That aside the overall music was good and the service staff were lovely had a brill as many wouldn't I don't really appreciate having a drink poured over me in the street. Unless you want your clothes ruined I would definitely avoid avoid avoid!

3 bedraggled walkers went in for coffee & cake , and were so enthused by the service Tina provided , we returned later for lunch . On a wet day , this was a nice quiet refuge where we enjoyed home made soup , followed by pie & mash for me . The Brains beer was well kept too ..... Will happily return to this pub the next time I'm in Chepstow .

Awful service. Visited today , approximately 1.15 and sat in the garden and ordered our food. 2 people came into the garden about 10 mins after us and hit their meal . After waiting 35 mins we enquired if we had been forgotten, and the surly middle aged lady said they had to cook the fish , even though they were not busy !!!! After another 10 mins we enquired again so 40 min in total the woman and the young boy did not even look up and acknowledge our enquiry so we walked out and hot brilliant service snd food at Wetherspoons .

48 Bulwark RoadBest Haddock and Chips ever tasted. The staff at Kibby's are always pleasant, the premises is spotless. Having had fish and chips locally (Coleford), we drive 13 miles to Chepstow for the experience. Batter is always crisp and compliments the moist fresh fish perfectly. The chips are great too, everything is cooked fresh not left for hours. It is obvious people love the food as the queue is large, so my advice would be to order your food in advance if you can. 1, The Albion, Cinderhill St, Monmouth NP25 5EX, United KingdomOrdered a large doner Kabab on the 30th Aug at 7pm in a pitta bread, what I wanted was a traditional kabab in a pitta with salad and lettuce, what I got was a tray of unappetising mush with a full pitta at the bottom, totally pointless. I called on the phone and all I got from the lady who answers was attitude and sarcasm with no aspect of customer service so I will look else where when I am in Monmouth. Very disappointed binned the Kabab.

134 Hereford RoadThe garden was lovely for children, that is all that is positive about this venue. The food was tasteless and the most disgusting food ever to be served. It was under cooked, with hard vegetables and clear water gravy! How they can charge customers for the slop they served today for Sunday lunch is beyond me. Never in my life have I ever experienced such rudeness from a manger or seen such rubbish food! We won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to not either. Such a shame, with the right chef and proper management, this place could be very popular.
