The White Horse Inn Restaurant in Warrington

A delicious breakfast with a good choice of food and plenty of hot coffee. I had a cheese , tomato and mushroom omelette, my husband had a full English breakfast, all freshly cooked and served with a smile!

Absolutely lovely gem of a pub. We stayed two nights. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff and so accommodating. Food excellent plenty of choice for beer ales and wine. Room stay was comfortable and cosy with the bathroom upstairs! We celebrated our wedding anniversary and a lovely surprise from the landlord and bottle of Prosecco! If you’re into walking. It’s a must, such beautiful countryside to explore. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will return:@)

This pub is well worth a visit. A large car park next to it which makes for an easy start. We had a chicken burger and the special of the day. The food was good pub food. The bar person was great - friendly and helpful. The decoration is good and overall a jolly nice pub to discover, I would definitely return when next in the area.

After a last minute decision to eat out on a visit to the area and a quick search on Tripadvisor, we found this gem. The staff were friendly, efficient and very accommodating as we had no booking. The surroundings were lovely and the food was delicious. Well done to all the team!

We went for a drink and a friend had lunch. The staff were helpful and friendly but the ladies toilets were dreadful. The floor looked like it hadn’t been washed in ages and lots of dust around. Both toilets had seats that were falling off and no toilet paper in one of them. The whole area felt unkempt and grotty. There is a saying that the toilets of a restaurant reflect the kitchen. Hopefully this is not the case, but they really need to revamp and clean and freshen up the toilets.

Exactly what a pub should be. Friendly and great food. The chef is outstanding and the steak is recommended. The roast is good too and it's a lovely cosy setting by the fire.

We came here on Christmas eve and walked into a pretty full bar, feeling very festive and ready for a mulled wine we went to order and the man behind the bar refused to serve us as we had not been there all evening unlike the other people in the bar. I had driven 45 minutes to meet friends there and we had to leave throughly disappointed and feeling very unfestive. Will not go back.
