This is my local.....it's my local because it's a great place to eat and drink, I can take all my family we can spend hours here staff are brilliant I'm always getting discounts via email infact we're getting ready to go now (NYD)

We booked a space for the evening for a staff get together before the end of term. I popped in a few days before the booking as I'd never been in before. The manager and chef were there and were friendly and helpful. I chose our space and was able to sort our food options. When we arrived, there was a lovely surprise of Christmas crackers and a Christmassy look to the tables. Food that had been pre ordered came out on time - the staff checked in with us to make sure that everything was ok. Everyone who pre ordered or ordered food that evening were very happy. The bar was very well run so that no-one was left waiting for very long even on such a busy night. Thank you to everyone who was working that night.

Staff member walked by and put his finger in my son's drink when he thought I wasn't looking. Why would you do that? When I called after him he ignored me and went into the back, possibly going on break? Me and my son left and will not be returning.

Ordered the steak and chips. The steak Was like rubber, not very good. The sausage and Mushroom was nice.

On both occasions when having a meal, the salt pots have block salt!!! Reason being where the pots are not thoroughly dried before filling them with salt. The chips have gone from decent to skinny baked and tasteless (naturally cos you cant put salt on them), service was ok but not up to Lisa's standards when she worked there. Needs bringing into touch somewhat.

I Ordered food at 15:40 on Sunday 22nd of September, Simple order of a burger and a side. At 16:25 I've noticed my food has been given to someone else. I knew it straight away when the guy who got my burger looked confused but still accepted it. And now while writing this the bar staff have done a check back on my food but it's not me. I was then offered for the food to be re processed but before processing my refund I hear the barman saying to another customer 45mins from when you order. In my personal opinion I should be priority and going back to the kitchen and say do this order ASAP The worst thing about it was the bar staff knew the burger was for me cause I had to go collect my own drink. And now have to wait 2 days for a refund without being told this And now that table of 6 food has come out and confused at why there's another burger on the table when he's eaten. Not being funny I would like some sort of compensation for this absolute inconvenience Absolute joke!!!

I've been attending this establishment on and off for about 4 years I've never had a disappointing meal never had a disappointing moment and I've been carefully looked after by Gina Kim and Tats.

Terrible experience at The White Horse. Very rude staff - her name is Nicola, I think may have been the manager on duty. Facilities are filthy, tables greasy and grimly, so we cancelled our food order. Toilets equally as filthy. Won’t be going back

Food was good and served quite quickly. We went on a match day and it was horrifically loud which let the place down.

Ordered a Coke as a mixer and was given Pepsi, when I complained this was not what I ordered they refused to change the drink. I was not told at the time of ordering my drink that I would be given Pepsi and was not given the option to pay for it which is what I asked for. The cost would have been small to rectify your error. Was served by the manager apparently, very disappointed in the poor level of customer service. The response from them is just an excuse, I had no trouble in O’neils when this occurred.

Went in yesterday for a chill drink, nice atmosphere and a good open space. Got chatting to one of the bartenders, Sean. He was so lovely, very knowledgable and was happy to answer any of my questions about the cocktail menu. Stayed and chatted for a while with him then went on my way after a great afternoon.

I had a disappointing experience at this pub this evening. The service was terrible. They reduced the food menu to only a few options: two or three types of pizzas, about five side dishes (like chicken wings and chips with Guinness sauce and cheese), and three different burgers that don’t even come with chips. When I asked about the limited menu, the staff told me it was a temporary change due to the football. When the food finally arrived, we had to ask for cutlery. The guy who brought the food was moaning a bit, though not rudely, about having to go back and forth with other people's orders. Additionally, when I went to the bar to get drinks, there were two women serving. One of them was helping a customer and saw me waiting, but after finishing with him, she walked away without saying anything. This left me waiting for the other woman, who then served a group that had arrived after me. Frustrated, I returned to my table, told my friends about the poor service, and we left.

Love this pub. Check for deals they have plenty and staff kindly point them out (thanks Barbara!!!) £13 for 2 pizzas and a pint!!! Can’t beat it.

Love this pub....I'm a former resident of Beckenham and I've always enjoyed living there and frequently going back for food and drink etc. The White Horse was an old stomping ground of mine when it was The Goose and the change of name and decor hasn't detracted from the wicked atmosphere this pub offers especially when decent sport is on....definitely one to go to in the Euros 😎. The only reason I dropped a star is the philli steak baguette and calamari was a little over cooked but on the whole, the family and I enjoyed the rest of the food, decent service, reasonably priced. 100% return in the not to distant.

Not bad I guess. A pretty standard pub. Update. Back again after a bit of a break. Pretty much the same as last time though I would like to mention how nice the staff were.

Lovely staff and fantastic door men.

If you’re playing the football on TV in the pub don’t switch it over during the game. This seemed to be an obsession with a staff member and happened a few times, changing to darts and golf. No consideration of the customers buying drinks and dinner enjoying the match. Won’t be going again.

Unbelievable. A group of 4 of us went in to have some food and a beer and they would only serve 3 of us food because the chef was too busy! I asked if I could have just a portion of chips and they refused. 3 of the party had already paid so one of us had to sit there and watch the others eat. When the food did come the double burger was a single, the mixed grill was charred to an inch of its life and the free range egg was missing because they had ran out. Edit: The manager came to see us and apologised. He organised a round of drinks and explained the situation. Strong move from the manager.

Excellent afternoon/evening celebrating my sons 21st birthday. Pre booked a good part of room for around 40 of friends and family, excellent staff ,service and food. A day to remember Thankyou Aarron and staff.

Where have all the nice staff gone? The staff on this visit were rude and couldn't have cared less about customer service. Food was an experience, very fatty steak and then told I was naughty for not eating my peas! Wheelchair friendly with accessible loo.

Collette and team absolutely brilliant! Sorted our large party out with excellent service all night! Would definitely recommend!

Been to this pub quite a few times over the years but never to eat normally for drinks and to play pool it’s a great very spacious fruit Mach live sport. And just recently me and my son was going to the cinema and we decided to have a bit of dinner here first. Was surprised at the price of the food and the verity they had on the menu.the food was spot on will definitely be eating and visiting here more regularly. Mitch

The food and service was excellent. Unfortunately, this is a sports pub. Lots of TVs and the sound is high, which makes everyone else chat more loudly.

Ordered a meal and some of it was missing and was given fries instead of requested salad.

Colette was lovely, served very quickly and with a smile will visit again!
