Reasonable prices excellent staff

Unbelievable. A group of 4 of us went in to have some food and a beer and they would only serve 3 of us food because the chef was too busy! I asked if I could have just a portion of chips and they refused. 3 of the party had already paid so one of us had to sit there and watch the others eat. When the food did come the double burger was a single, the mixed grill was charred to an inch of its life and the free range egg was missing because they had ran out. Edit: The manager came to see us and apologised. He organised a round of drinks and explained the situation. Strong move from the manager.

There was no food whatsoever on the menu and didnt give us any discount whatsoever because we could inly have one rhing on the whole menu

Excellent afternoon/evening celebrating my sons 21st birthday. Pre booked a good part of room for around 40 of friends and family, excellent staff ,service and food. A day to remember Thankyou Aarron and staff.

Where have all the nice staff gone? The staff on this visit were rude and couldn't have cared less about customer service. Food was an experience, very fatty steak and then told I was naughty for not eating my peas! Wheelchair friendly with accessible loo.

Collette and team absolutely brilliant! Sorted our large party out with excellent service all night! Would definitely recommend!

Always a fun atmosphere. Drinks prices are reasonable, especially in happy hour. Service friendly (Jack particularly helpful!) and nibbly tapas plates are tasty.

Been to this pub quite a few times over the years but never to eat normally for drinks and to play pool it’s a great very spacious fruit Mach live sport. And just recently me and my son was going to the cinema and we decided to have a bit of dinner here first. Was surprised at the price of the food and the verity they had on the menu.the food was spot on will definitely be eating and visiting here more regularly. Mitch

The food and service was excellent. Unfortunately, this is a sports pub. Lots of TVs and the sound is high, which makes everyone else chat more loudly.

Ordered a meal and some of it was missing and was given fries instead of requested salad.

Colette was lovely, served very quickly and with a smile will visit again!

Been coming to this pub for years. Good old fashioned pub atmosphere. Really good deals on drinks plus they even have happy hour. Ashley the new manager is doing a fantastic job as well as the whole team. If your looking for a good night what can i say cheap drinks , sports, lively atmosphere and they even got a pool table !!!! I also had dinner during the week pizza and a pint what could be better in life !!

The food here is delicious. With amazing staff who are always more than willing to help or assist. The venue is very cosy and practical. But value for money vs. the level of customer service is impressive to say the very least!

I often go to the White Horse when I want a night off of cooking and washing up. The food is always good, especially the roast dinner which tastes just how a roast should. This place has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful and always welcome me and my family warmly and provide a great service.

Nice pub,plenty of tv screens inside. Offers online ordering from the table which is always good. We happened to be there late morning so the bar was still quiet.

Was given kids menu and then told one of the items wasn't on menu any more but not until I went to order. Staff aware kids are autistic and decided to serve everyone else's food 1st and was a wait for their food. Barman who delivered food was lovely and apologetic (he wasn't an issue at all, lovely service from him). Major communication issues between kitchen and management. Quite an unwelcoming establishment for a family with young children

Would definitely recommend going ordered a few meals with friends, and the customer service from Ashley and the team was great, the food took only about 20 minutes to come which is extremely fast and the food was very tasty. Customer service was nice overall friendly staff good food nice atmosphere will definately come back!

Despite having booked a table, when we entered the empty bar we were ignored by the staff present and I had to go to the bar to ask for my table and was told I could sit anywhere. We sat down and perused the menu choosing Mac cheese and I ordered 2 M & C and bacon. I took our drinks and sat down Nearly 45 minutes later and with the bar slowly filling up I went back to the bar to enquire where our simple meal was and was told it would be with us in two minutes but they were 'busy'.When the M & C arrived it looked as though the cook had opened two tins and just put a piece of bacon over one and put it under the grill. Fortunately we both like tinned M & C. but when the young waiter asked if everything was ok we mentioned that it could have been a lot warmer. Perhaos another 2 minutes in the microwave ? We then ordered 2 Salted Caramel ices which arrived within 5 minutes. Unfortunately we had to eat them with our fingers as they had obviously just been taken out of the freezer and nothing short of a pneumatic drill would have cut through it.

Came here for some drinks and enjoyed the night. The staff at the bar are very friendly, and you are served almost straight away. There was loads of tables and had live sports to watch. There’s two pool tables in there which is £1.50 per game which is decent enough. And you can tap your contactless card.

I paid for a burger and a beer on this day the beer arrived straight away and about 40mins later still no burger so I went to the bar to ask and the staff looked very confused because they thought they had delivered the food to me. It so happens that they delivered my food to the wrong table and the person ate it and left . I was then told I would receive my refund in three working days ? Today is the 22/12/23 and still no refund I already sent to a message to the Whitehorse wanting my money back but have received no communication

Hi there, I was on date and he suggested we watch the Liverpool game here. We had a Blast thank you. Great Ambience, Amazing Experience. Extremely Clean especially the toilets. We had a few Guinness's and I had a few Madri's. (Fresh) Inviting, Professional Team. I'd like to acknowledge The Manager Aran who was extremely helpful and attentive. Barbs ( Barbara) was lovely a friendly. Mimi was nice and friendly. Lisa was also nice and friendly. All need a Promotion. I love this place ❤️ it is a better atmosphere than O'Neils and the weatherspoon. The food is lovely, the drinks are a good price and the ambience is always just peaceful. You can dine in with a group or just a couple and it's enjoyable.

We came across this pub by chance as we were going to the cinema and wanted a quick bite. Fortunately they were serving 2 for 1 cocktail. We started with cocktails and ordered 2 meals and small plates. The pub is quiet spacious and we found seats at the front windows. We found the pub quiet dark even though there were lights above the tables. There are large TV 's in either direction so for sports lovers its prefect. It was nice to see pool tables because its been a while since I seen one in a pub, bought make good memories. The cocktails were good we ended up having 4 between us. It had a nice atmosphere and a steady stream of people coming in.

The white horse has become a regular for us. Great value food and drinks. Perfect date night. The bar staff here are always great and Collette was so efficient and friendly. Many thanks to her, we'll be back!

Headed here with my elderly mum for some lunch we both opted for the ale and steak pie, never had this before, akd was quite pleasantly surprised with it, was served by the friendly bar lady Lisa, she asked if I had dierty needs, and was very helpful towards my elderly mum when I asked if she could use the disabled toilet, all in all it was a very pleasant visit 5 stars from us 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I attended the White Horse, Beckenham for my dad’s 60th Birthday on Saturday. Staff are superb and nothing was too much trouble for them, Lisa even helped me decorate the table. Food is amazing, and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend this venue. Thank you to the White Horse team Lisa, Andy, Barb, James and Colette for making my dad’s birthday so special. We had the best time and can’t wait to return, 10/10 all round.

The white horse is my favourite pub in Beckenham. The bar staff are Great. They are always showing the sports on TV. Andy the manager is always welcoming. Drinks are reasonable and the food is great! Highly recommend

6 stars if I could. Every time I’ve been here the service and the food have been top tier. But even when I made mistakes and gave the staff the runaround, the level of patience with me was exemplary - the food is great but the customer service makes all the difference. A firm favourite 🤩

Popped into the White Horse Whilst i was in Beckenham, and decided to have something to eat And to be honest i was just expecting the normal run of the mill pub food, but i was pleasantly surprised with the freshness/quality/taste And i would say the prices in general are fare, And i would also like to say thankyou to JAMES for being so friendly and helpful and making my visit a pleasurable one And will definitely be returning soon.

what a wonderful afternoon we have had, just popped in for a quick drink to escape the heat and made very welcome by Lisa a fun barperson with a great personality and an understanding of the needs of people with a disabilityshe made us feel so welcome we stayed for a snack and another Drink. Decided on eating out with my partner, and was looking for something good on the menu to eat, we decided on the fish and chips, was extremely good, and was served by Lisa, who greeted us very welcoming, asked if we had any dietary needs and what table we were located at, we didn't have to wait long for our food and came out hot and fresh, we will definitely be coming back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Due to the fish and chips not being available I ordered the gammon dish and it was dry and generally unappetising. Unfortunately the restaurant we would have usually gone to was closed. Probably best to stick to drinks here.
