The service was first class by a gentleman call Dan who was polite and very welcoming

Always a great selection of Real Ales, Brentwood Brewery as ever with interesting guests. A traditional pub with a great outdoor space and friendly staff, but it’s beer that keeps me coming back :)

Traditional 'boozer' providing a large child friendly garden as well as a good undercover 'marquee' area. Darts and pool table as well as up to 10 real ales from their own brewery and other local breweries. Popular sea food stall at the weekend in the car park.

Great little pub where you can sit and have a conversation without loud TV on, good atmosphere good staff good selection of beer.

I live nearby and tried the fish shack outside of the pub. Had excellent haddock and chips. Really tasty. Went into the pub to have a beer with it. Always friendly service and the bar lady was really nice too.

Only went in for a couple before visiting other pubs and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd never been here before so didn't really know what to expect, and this place was great! Lovely staff, good atmosphere and a decent pint of Guinness. The locals were friendly too. I'd recommend giving this place a go.

Lovely pub ...staff ehind the ramp are always friendly and quick to serve you and the clients this side of the ramp are very welcoming. It's a pub for grownups 😀

Great pub, that does everything right. Big car park, lots of outside seating (covered and open). Friendly service. Food menu a bit limited post lockdown but great value and exceedingly well prepared. Even has a new dartboard up! Quiet around lunch time. Cannot recommend enough!

Very good and professional staff.

My family and I ate here today and were made very welcome. Food was great and all cooked fresh ( so it took a while to come but that's to be expected) home made pizza was delicious and we will definitely be back.
