White hartes brilliant, the darts are well maintained and pretty cheap. They usually have really good deals on the drinks and the secret garden is a really nice use of the space they have.

Had a student bottomless brunch here for £25. Unbelievable value. Outstanding service (shout out to Gigi who was always on hand for drinks refills). Would definitely come back for service alone. Walked out absolutely hammered, along with all of my mates. 11/10, spinal tap would be proud.

Used to be a great pub, great atmosphere. Here on a Friday night, dj is absolutely awful, looks like he doesn’t want to be here, playing songs over and over again in the space of 30 minutes. Said on his mic that song requests were open and was extremely rude when I went to make a request. Fix up lads. Bar staff are lovely though x

Lovely pub with fab service from the team. Our group were so well looked after and we'll certainly be booking here again soon! The food was delicious with plenty of veggie options.

I am disgusted. I am appaulled. I am concerned. Imagine my excitement to meet some new friends and walking my way to a pub called White Hart. Imagine my despair when your despicably named pub manipulated, mislead and deceived me into walking all the way to Bedminster from my accomodation. How dare you have a name so similar to another pub 34 minutes walk away. Now imagine me realising that my friends are not in fact in the White Hart hut instead in the White Harte. The devastation I felt. The disappointment in having to trek back from whence I came. Having to sprint like an absolute madman in order for me to be less atrociously late than I was already going to be. You have quite the lovely pub but alas, the name alone prevents me from giving the full 5 stars. “Fancy leaving us a cheeky lil review?”. I fancied.

What a place! The staff are friendly, they have a huge selection of craft beer and ciders! Super clean and not expensive which is a major plus!

Vino aquí como el chef en el Rose & Crown, Wick estaba enfermo y qué pena que era. El pollo estaba seco en mi envoltura de pollo tikka naan, pero eso estaba bien, ya que el sabor general era encantador, pero los postres! 3/4 tenían el mismo pudín de toffee pegajoso y 2 bases de postre eran sólidas. ¡Ni siquiera pude atravesar un cuchillo y la tercera tenía un trozo de plástico duro en medio del pudín! Luego dijeron que no podíamos tener un reembolso, pero otro postre o bebida, lo siento, pero eso nos pospuso .. finalmente obtener 1 reembolso .. me parece que los postres fueron comprados en la tienda y puestos en el microondas demasiado tiempo!

Can I just say, me and my friend were so positively flabbergasted by the customer service and accommodation that the bartender Ollie provided! We called in advance and were called back a sec after the phone wasn't picked up, then upon arrival we were met with open arms and provided a special nice corner. This is my first time in Bristol and if the rest of bristol pubs prove to have as good bar staff as Ollie then this world can be a better place. Lovely establishment, good grub too.

Came to The White Harte with a group of 15 or so. Booked tables after hearing reviews about great food and service. One of the tables for our group was booked on the opposite side of the room and staff also forced another group of people who they failed to reserve a table for onto our parties table. Not great but not the end of the world. Unfortunately the service we received from then on was horrendous. Food took over 1 hour to come out and most of it had been sat on the hot plate getting burnt and overcooked, meanwhile pizzas came out burnt to a crisp time and time again and even a salad took over an hour and a half to arrive to our table. Half of our group ended up refunding the food because we had waited over two hours. Not enough staff on the bar, not enough staff in the kitchen. No alcohol behind the bar either as several of our party wanted cocktails but we were told they had no tequila among other things. Management need to take a long hard look at themselves and employ more staff to take the heat off the existing ones so some semblance of service can be provided. Overall a bit of a shocker. Wouldn’t recommend.

Booked a table of 16, arrived and placed orders etc on the app. After 1 hour the first pizza came out burnt, waited an hour and a half total for all the food, various bits being sent back due to being inedible/burnt. Only 1 chef on at 7pm on Saturday is laughable. No offer of discount or refunds for anything, didn't push the issue as they were rammed and the manager was under enough stress as it was. Just a terrible experience due to lack of staff.

I used to go there back in the day. These days it is just an average over priced chain pub

Love the atmosphere and environment here, especially on a Friday night as they host karaoke sessions within the bar. Drinks are decent and definitely a student friendly bar.

Decent enough pub. Tidy with a decent bit of character. Student vibe, being next to the university, especially during quieter nights or events. Nice pints. Good range of beers, lagers, and ciders. Nicely poured Guinness. Live sports. Food menu. Reasonably priced for Town/Park St.

If the pool table takes card payments, avoid. You will pay £1.50 for a game on a scabby table using balsa wood cues with dead tips worn down to the ferrule. 4 quid for a pint of coke too

One of my favourite pubs in Bristol, great central location and good selection of drinks. If you like to watch sports with friends or on your own this is a great spot. They have also pool table and lots of space for sitting and enjoying lovely cold pint of beer.

Great place - really sound staff ... even made sure our dog had a bowl for a drink... Great location near, the shops and sit and loads of epic graffiti art nearby

Popular student pub. Went there for wing Wednesdays. Both the cauliflower and chicken wings were excellent and great value at 40p each. Ran out quite quickly so get there early, and be prepared for a lot of student clubs! Nice friendly staff and good selection of on tap beers. Live football showing on the tv

One of the best student friendly pubs in town. I really enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. Each day has its own offers and they all are student friendly. The staff is very friendly and there is a lot of space around. Hands down one of the best pubs in Bristol.

I love this pub food is amazing but have just been for Sunday roast I know they have not been doing it for long but I just want to give a few pointers on how it could be improve (1) beef should be cut thinner (2) more veg (3) choice of cauliflower cheese (4) steak knives . But apart from that the staff and the ambience is perfect 😀😀😀😀 will be coming back x

Pretty average city centre pub near the university. I can imagine it'd be popular with students (i.e. a little grubby). Reasonable range of drinks at a reasonable price. Pool table, but not much else in terms of atmosphere. The food menu looks like standard fare. The barman was a friendly sort.

Was a good evening on king street until the white Harte stepped it up two notches. Extra and the whole bar staff were incredible and £3.50 pints made the night that much better. Kudos to all. Stay real White Harte we love you x

Brilliant venue for any occasion. I had my 60th birthday here and Imogen looked after us incredibly. She particularly enjoyed the delicious jäger bombs that they serve. Would recommend to anyone!

Presented with pizza that was burnt to a crisp. It was completely black and inedible! The waiter literally ran off without asking if anything was ok so I had to bring the pizza back myself. The replacement took so long to come out that my family had finished their food and no manager came over to apologise or offer us a drink whilst we waited. We had plans afterwards so asked if we could have it to takeaway, to which the waiter said we should ask at a pizza shop on a completely different street which was bizarre and rude. In the end we had to ask again and I was given a piece of cling film to wrap up myself, again no apology. I appreciate this is a restaurant/pub so don’t expect attentive table service, but it was genuinely terrible.
