The White Hart Inn in Richmond upon Thames

Arrived at venue and parked for free on front of property. There are only a few spaces, so parking is limited. No one at bar on walking into venue so had to wait to be seen. Shown to room 4 above pub. Stairs were not steady, no hand rail. Room itself was disappointing but clean, as was shared toilet and bathroom. I had asked for decaf tea and coffee which they had provided in room. TV in room 4 was not pluged in to socket or TV aerial and there was no remote control. On plugging in there were no stored channels on TV. WiFi in room was a poor signal. Saw the kitchen and decided not to eat here.

I’d just like to say what a lovely stay we have just had here. We had Attic room 1 at the top of the stairs and it was perfect. Clean tidy fresh and en-suite with a lovely comfy big bed with fresh soft linen. We did not return from our wedding reception until the early hours and although the pub was closed Michael had given us our keys and explained how to get back in if the pub was closed. It was all simple. I’d definitely recommend this place to stay and I will also look to book here again in the future. Why pay big hotel prices when you have gems like this. We also parked outside on the forecourt. The staff and locals in the bar where all really friendly and welcoming too. Well done. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We stayed for 2 nights to attend an event in Twickenham. The pub has a great atmosphere with really friendly staff and a great variety of drinks. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing shower and the breakfast both mornings was delicious. Well worth the money. We would stay here again in a heartbeat

No-frills, rather old-fashioned pub with friendly locals. Short menu of standard pub items (even more limited when I was there because they’d run out of a couple of choices) but the food was freshly cooked and very good. The drinks-included options are particularly good value if you arrive thirsty!
