The White Hart Grafton Regis in South Northamptonshire

The white hart has become the regular pick for most of our family occasions, with good reason. The food is exceptional and the banter is world class. Well be back again soon!

We have been to the white heart many times for family occasions and never had a bad meal!! The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The food has and is always delicious and full of flavour! Overall great atmosphere, great food, great staff and all at a fair price!

Once again, knocked it out of the park. Brilliant food, excellent service, even if I had to get the dessert spoons again!! But at least we paid!! 🤣 Thanks again for a good night. See you again soon.

Awful. 16£ for half a chicken breast which I think was processed. Tasteless Curry which is an affront to their use of the word Balti. Tasteless beef borguinon which again looked like processed beef briefly shown some red wine and dumped on a plate. Won't return.

We ate off the very well priced lunch menu. The food was home-made , good, hot and served promptly. The setting was a traditional pub with a nice garden outside for when the sun is shining.

Cannot express our happiness enough with this place. Gorgeous English charm of the building, very friendly staff and great tasting food. We came in at 159pm and they still served us lunch. Bless them. We had the pulled pork burger...we were expecting a burger bun, with pulled pork and a sauce of some type...we got that...PLUS a burger patty. Luckily we did not also order the garlic bread we initially discussed :) junior had the chicken bites and loved them. What was only meant to be a stop to 'refuel' and then off again turned into a travel yarn of the places we had all visited and where we would go again if able to. We got to make a new friend today - all because we decided to keep off the motorway and tollways :) will visit again the next time we're in the area. Would highly recommend for families, singles and couples - pretty much everyone. If you like good food and great atmosphere then this is the place for you.

Gorgeous pub in a country side setting. Brilliant food had Sunday dinner and sea bass cooked to perfection. Brilliant staff will definitely be back.

This is our 3rd Visit and more than impressed with the Atmosphere and Menu something for everyone and presentation and taste are outstanding 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 but the staff are exceptional and make you feel so welcome we love it and any excuse we will be back, definitely want to try the Sunday Lunch next.

First visit for Sunday lunch in a while. Better than ever. Lovely portion, hot food and very tasty. Booked again for a few weeks. Great staff, chef so accommodating and great food! Looking forward to the next one!

It was my wifes Birthday yesterday so wanted to take her somewhere nice for dinner. The reviews for the White Hart were good so called a while back to book but at the time was a little surprised at the brusque response when the phone was finally answered. Putting it down to catching them at a bad moment we decided to let the food do the talking for them. We arrived on time last night and the 3 of us placed our orders, my son and I ordered the mixed grill which we had been looking forward to for some time only to have them come back saying they had "run out" and it had been taken off the menu. I checked online just now and it is still on the online menu . My son then ordered a different meal and a few minutes later had someone return to tell us they didnt have that either. All this took place at 5.30 on a Saturday evening so it wasnt like they had been really busy. We gave up at that point and left to find another restaurant. Nothing we saw last night matched any of the reviews I had read so for me personally I really cannot recommend.

Another delicious meal at The White Hart. Love it every time we visit, food is great value for money and the team always friendly, special thanks to Fame as usual for going the extra mile and making us feel so welcome. If you are local and haven't tried the White Hart I would highly recommend for traditional pub grub done really well.

What can I say? I started off with a prawn cocktail, that was recommended by Fame, it was out of this world, never had so much prawns, delicious 😋.... Followed by the Sea Bass with all the trimmings.... Alan the Chef, done a fantastic job, he layered two sea bass on top of seasonal greens with and an added bonus, which was so tasty, I couldn't leave the plate with anything on it... Yum yum is all I can say.... I would definitely recommend the White Hart to my friends and family as a place to go, different from the norm.... Thanks Fame and Alan!

Another excellent meal , came with a group of friends who had never been before. They were all really impressed with everything, the food was superb, the prawn cocktail is a must, proper fat prawns not the tiny little things you usually get , amazing . The whole menu is fantastic, i always struggle to decide what I’m going to have coz I know it’s all homemade and gonna be delicious All going back again (can’t wait) This was personally our 3rd visit and we’re never disappointed The staff are lovely really friendly so I have to thank Allan, Fame and the fantastic team for a relaxing evening enjoyed by us all So from our gang to your gang thank you and see you all soon xxx

We are never disappointed with the food here. Despite staff being on holiday Alan and his team were attentive and we had everything we asked for. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The strawberry Eaton mess trifle was amazing! We even got to meet William the boxer dog on his way out for a walk. All four of us had a lovely time and will definitely be back soon. The mid week menu is brilliant value with lots of choice.

Once again the food was excellent and everyone had a great evening. I've given it five stars but it should have been 4 1/2. My son only had three halloumi fries instead of four(! 🤣) I had to give the dessert menus out and give our party their dessert spoons. All in jest. The waitress was excellent and joined in with our humour. See you, hopefully, in June.

Visited this pub tonight for the first time having seen the reviews and we was not disappointed. Very friendly greeting and such a varied menu of lovely home cooked food. Our lovely bar maid, waitress was so friendly and helpful, even letting us try some of the curry to see how hot it was. The chef (who I believe is the owner) was lovely and very funny. Such a warm and friendly pub. All food was delicious and the service was fantastic, can’t wait to visit again. Also the 2 boxer dogs are just adorable. Very well catered for gluten free too.

We have not been to this pub in years. This was one of our favourite places and was always friendly, loved their boxer dogs and a parrot. It was great to see the same owners and still have boxers but sadly not the 🦜 very friendly place still and the food was delicious. All homemade food, I had pork loin, beautiful mash and fresh veg followed by lime homemade cheesecake, just gorgeous. My friends had Hunters chicken, bread and butter pudding with custard. The other vegetarian bean dish with homemade chocolate ice cream / nuts amaretto and coffee. Definitely will not leave it long before we return. Thanks

Excellent Sunday roast, importantly the plates and food were hot !! I enjoyed mine with a lovely glass of Chilean Merlot, the wonderful choice of puddings to hard to resist.Bread and butter pudding was delicious

First visit and will be back again. Whilst quiet for a Saturday, the food and friendly service was great My husband had the Oxtail soup ( old school) , whilst I had the haddock in cheese sauce to start My Sirloin steak was well executed and my husband had the same fish dish I had as a starter but as a main. Party of eight of us taking advantage of White Harts midweek main course deal. Lovely welcome, superb choice of food and lovely meals. My first time there for many years, I am sure we will all be back soon, it was great.

Lovely little pub with friendly, lovely workers- my tyre blew out on a long journey and the white hart was the closest safe place I could get to. My phone was dying and couldn’t find any taxis. Despite it being late at night and the pub closing the staff let me in out from the cold and helped me get a taxi to my hotel, it’s so rare to come across such genuine nice people these days. Can’t say thank you enough!

Had a fabulous extended family lunch here on Sunday 3rd December. The food was excellent, the service very good, and the general atmosphere was great. Would thoroughly recommend this pub as a great place to eat and enjoy convivial surroundings.

We have a great evening meal at The White Hart - there was a good range of homemade food on the menu and the portion sizes were just right! We popped in for lunch on a quiet Friday, having read about their homemade food. It was hard to choose from a really great menu, but we eventually chose a couple of their signature dishes. The food arrived in good time and was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We'll be definitely be back to try a few more dishes!
