The White Hart in Central Bedfordshire

Decided to take my disabled mum and daughter out for a bit of lunch. Very very disappointing. No hello from the 2 members of staff, it was cold we sat in our coats, the menu was limited and very disappointing a shocking selection of food. Won't be returning

This place has really gone downhill this year. We visited on a weekday lunchtime, and it was virtually empty. The barman clearly did not want to be there and barely acknowledged us. I asked for a burger minus coleslaw, and it arrived covered in it. My burger also had tiny bits of bone in it. My friends' scampi and chips was OK but I guess that you can't really go wrong with that. On approaching the bar to order a dessert, the barman turned his back and chose to make a call on his mobile instead. After waiting a few minutes, we decided to go to the nearby Wetherspoons instead, which was absolutely rammed and doing a roaring trade. Incidentally, don't offer a burger and a pint deal if the advertised lagers aren't available!

I remember riding by on the schoolbus every morning. Way back in 1969. Maybe someday I'll make it back and have a drink.

What a fantastic pub. Such a warm and wecloming environment. The entertainment was brilliant and the personal touch from the landlord really made us feel at home. We didnt eat on this occassion but we will definately be back to try out the food menu as well.

The owner of the pub is a kind hearted caring man, he come over and introduced himself to make sure I was okay as I was on my own waiting to get picked up. The pub is a cozy vibe great prices and absolutely wonderful atmosphere. Located in a great place. Would 100% recommend

Last week I called in to the White Hart to meet an ex forces mate , lunch , beer and a catch up. We ordered from the lunchtime menu - really decent choice and the food far surpassed our expectations. Will definitely be going back

I had a chicken BLT and was helped out by Sean who was an excellent Barman, host and provided me with excellent service. The food was brilliant, tasty and quick to arrive. I’ll definitely be back for their Sunday roast.

After waiting around for 20 minutes, we got told we would have to wait another half hour to be actually served as they were short staffed. So we ended up leaving and going somewhere else.

Great traditional pub with a very large selections of 0% alcohol drinks and beers and wines. The food is really delicious and the staff can’t do enough for you. Lovely atmosphere and a beer garden.

Staying for business we had two evening meals here, both with different staff working, both times a great experience! They serve a good selection of food including vegan, great beers on tap and a very friendly atmosphere, thank you to all the staff.

On arrival , Bar Staff pleasant. ordered the Beef Sunday Roast. it was of poor value for Money and Taste. The sirloin beef was very fatty and hard to chew. No flavour The Gravy was very watery and had no flavour. The Roast Potatoes are the worst l have ever had, on trying to cut them the just went to mash. The veg had no real favour as well. on a whole very poor meal for £13.75 wouldn't go back again

Went there with my 3 boys and their nanna. Massively over ordered. Food was lovely and the service was even better. Everyone was lovely and made us feel very welcome

Been here twice now and each time has been equally amazing. We got the tapas selection. Food arrived quickly and I have to say it's the best around. Surprised us at just how good the food was.

What a great venue at a great price!! See website 4.5 stars and just one British pound sign for cost ! Food, service, decor and atmosphere all A-Grade. Manager is a hoot and very engaging. The scampi with chips and mushy peas, and the fish and chips [Atlantic Cod] are delicious and my slow-cooked Pulled Mushroom Chilli with rice and smashed avo was just sublime. To add insult to waistline injury, the Sticky Date Pudding is amazing, beating all I've had back in Oz. And the building dates back to 1639! What a treat

Had a really lunch sat 24th Feb, the food was really lovely but the barmaid Sophie was the best part of the day! She was so lovely, so friendly and welcoming! We both said we haven’t had that real barmaid experience for a long time. She really made our visit enjoyable. Thanks Sophie

Recently back from having lunch at the White Hart in Biggleswade, and as always it was an enjoyable experience to eat and drink there. Special thanks to Aidan, a very helpful and pleasant man, a relief member of staff today from Stevenage; nothing was too much trouble. Please note that other members of staff in the WH today were also pleasant and attentive, as always.

Our favourite local pub. Every time my parents or friends visit we take them there. Food has always been amazing. Dog friendly. Nice and chilled when not busy, but also fun and good atmosphere when busy. Parking in front and more at the back. Been many times, will go many times again, thank you!

We had Sunday lunch here, and the roast was delicious and very good value for money. The Nut Wellington was a great veggie alternative. Good beer and wine with friendly service

My wife and me had Sunday roast on 21st January and to say the food was stunningly good is an undersell. The portion for a start was very generous and the cuts of beef were more than expected. The roast potatoes were also as you would expect being crunchy and fluffy. In fact, from the gravy to the Yorkshire it was faultless. So much more than a pub serving. The pub is a pre 1700 building with all it's original charm, huge open fire and wooden beams. With so many pre-fab buildings going up as 'pubs/ bars' this is a real treat for an authentic place to eat and drink. The friendly and welcoming team will look after you from glass to fork.

Haven’t been in the pub for a long time and was really surprised to see the place looking great. I was with a friend catching up and was made feel welcome by the staff. This is a hidden gem of Biggleswade and will be visiting again soon.

We went at a quiet time, so for us was really good. Staff helped us get the best food/drink options available, they were more than helpful. Went here for a Boxing Day dinner selecting from set menu. Also asked for a couple of special changes from set menu which were happily catered for. Food freshly cooked and very flavourful. We were looked after very well. Our table was a little draughty as by back entrance.

I visited for lunch with my Mum and found that my local pub does Flat Iron Steak. I definitely enjoy my Steak so it had to be done! My Mum had a toasted sandwich and was a huge portion for her! The Steak was cooked...

Not a bad pub. Friends and I ate outside in the sun, which was comfortable. Vegan options could be improved, though happy to see some on the menu!

My only criticism is that they don't check the toilets often enough. The floor was very wet on the two occasions I visited.

A busy and friendly pub with a wide range of beers from traditional pub ale to craft beer. Probably the best pub to go to in the town centre as the others have a political slant now.

Looked like a nice pub, but I'm a bit of a real ale fan; this Greene King pub had four hand pumps, all displaying Greene King IPA. It's never been my favourite beer, but I had a pint, and it was OK, but after that I suggested we move onto the Wetherspoons. Not as nice pubwise but has a better cask ale range.
