Great atmosphere, good service and food was excellent. Came on fish and chips Friday. Had the fish cakes and my wife had a prawn salad. They made salad to order with a few extras that my wife asked for. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely recommend

First rime here and definitely not the last, Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. One of our party wanted something that wasn't on the menu so we messaged a few days before and our request was fulfilled without a problem, Lovely village pub that's run by welcoming people who serve great beer and proper pub food, Dog and Child friendly too, Well done, we will be back

We visit typically once a year here for a large family gathering 15plus of us and we always have a good time and always receive a warm welcome. Food is always good fresh, hot. Great play area outside for our children to play in. Clean premises. Just the right volume of music. Fantastic selection of beers and spirits. Cant fault this for very small a country big. Mid December Sunday lunch was a Christmas carvery. Amazing food with lots of choice and veggie daughter was accommodated too (needed to pre-book this). Super friendly staff. It was all fabulous. A little off the beaten track but definitely worth it.

I popped in for a cold beer but as I was driving decided to have a non alcoholic beer mixed with half a normal beer as I don’t like shandy with lemonade! £6.50 but the normal beer I got for a friend was £4! I said what’s going on, reply I got was £4.50 for small bottle of becks blue, I challenged this as I often drink this and it’s normally £2 approx! Barman said that’s what we charge, I didn’t want to cause a scene so paid, as I’m local and looking forward r a pub to use was very disappointed! I’ll never drink in there again, hope they are happy!

I have eaten here on several occasions and the food is always good. A proper local pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dog friendly and fantastic fish and chips on a Friday. It is popular so be sure to book if you intend to have a meal.

We have had many lunch time meals at this pub/restaurant but this was our first evening meal. I was very impressed with the menu choice and was not disappointed on delivery. Those eating the beef thought it was beautifully cooked and tasty. The two fish mains were lovely and the children enjoyed their choices from the children's menu. In fact all our meals were delicious and presented well. There was a good choice of desserts which went down well. Our waitresses were attentive, friendly and accommodating. I cannot fault the service in this pub/ restaurant. We will visit again.

This was a good cafe. Very clean, attentive staff and a surprsingly good menu. Plenty of options, from a very impressive all day breakfast to an excellent Brunch and lunch menu. We are on holiday and are going back to get lunch one day during the week.

We were the first customers to be seated when we arrived upon opening and my husband and I watched as other customers arrived and get seated. We watched as the server went to their tables first to take their orders whilst we sat there seemingly unnoticed. I decided not to say anything just to see what would happen and one of the lovely ladies who seated us came back from whatever she had been doing and asked if we had been served yet. I said no and she was straight on it. Fortunately all staff on shift were well organized and the barista got through the drinks orders like a champ so we didn't have to wait too long. I ordered an oat milk latte and tarragon mushrooms, my husband had the full fry up. Food was delicious and hot. I felt the pricing was a bit off between our two dishes. Mushrooms on toast with 2 poached eggs and a bit of spinach £12 yet my husband's big fry up also had toast, eggs, mushrooms but then had beans, tomato, bacon ,sausages, black pudding for £14. Not a complaint, more of an observation. When we went to pay, the cashier read out what we had ordered and said Almond milk latte. Good job I don't have a nut allergy! Overall a nice experience, delicious food, friendly staff, excellent chef. Will return.
