Converted from a former pub - hence the ground floor loos. Good to see they’ve got the 🐎 Racing Channel on 📺 and they even have a 🎯 lane. Limited choice of guest cask ales.

Under these covid conditions well organized. Cheap beers what more can you ask for.still cheap beers. Same old.

Very pleased with my visit here on my Wetherspoons's tour. This one was the 471st that I've visited. Good breakfast with mushrooms and a hot drink for around a fiver. I had 2 pints of Peerless Peninsula for less than £2 each. Large frontage and close to Overpool railway station.

Came here on the off after visiting Ellesmere port. Lady behind the bar clearly looked distracted kept asking me the same questions. My partners burger was burnt so we sent it back. We all finished our brunches and she was still waiting around 20 no ins for another one. Eventually it came still burnt, the bun was rock solid she couldn't eat half of it and struggled all the way through. Definitely would not return.

Banging fry up, literally twice as good as so many posh cafes charging double the price.

Went for breakfast to initially be told the cook phoned in sick so no food. Shortly after food was able to be served (presume replacement found) but most of it was stone cold and they served moldy strawberries to my toddler

the food is allways cold and the staff allways get your drinks order wrong if you complain you could get barred for 3 months

Typical Wetherspoons. Nice later outside seating area up front. Good prices, good service, food and drink delivered quickly. Inside could do with some TLC in places but generally good atmosphere.

My friend and myself regularly meet here for breakfast and a catch up. The food is always delicious. The service is always super friendly and it's a nice atmosphere.

To all dog owners. Do not go to this pub because they do not allow dogs even outside. One of the staff informed us in a very rude way by showing us a sign "Guide dogs only". We will definitely not be going back there.

I was looking for cheap and cheerful place to eat whilst in Ellesmere Port . Found this place just a short drive from Cheshire Oaks. Really nice place. Tables were clean as were the menus. I used the app on my phone to order. Very good service. Only downside was it was quite loud. Definitely recommend it if you are not keen on spending megabucks at Cheshire Oaks though.

Had breakfast there yesterday the business was quite busy for a Tuesday morning the food was served quickly. Louise the bar attendant went above and beyond coming from behind the bar to assist disabled customers and serving them with hot drinks as they could not manage the machine. Its not often you find bar staff coming from there comfort zone and engaging with customers well done Louise.

Great for a quick break and lengthy socialising

This is a pretty decent weatherspoons tbf, in here most days as working nights. It's your usal weatherspoons, so it's all about the cheap beer and reliable coffees! However, I will say I eat every Tuesday for the stake. It's one of the best stakes I have had in any spoons! The food is hit and miss any other day. But would definitely recommend the stake.

The reason I added this photo is it's a stone's throw from overpool train station, so it's a smashing meeting place If you're going to Liverpool or Chester in a group. Good selection of beer, and the food is good at a reasonable price. What's not to like. If you come by car, register your reg inside (there's a little computer pad and of course don't leave it while you disappear all day)

This isn’t the best Wetherspoons I’ve been in, foods not great, atmosphere a bit low key and you’ve got to pay to park your car.

I got a gourmet steak and asked for medium. I got it cremated style and no steak knife.

I've been to 15 Wetherspoons this year, and you get what you get. Food - great for the price. A decent beer selection. Must single out the service here though; Excellent.

Ordered a breakfast with work colleagues and they got their Order I didn't get mine had to watch them eat there's not funny over 25 mins and no real apology we come here every week for breakfast not anymore didn't even get an offer of compensation only a refund now late back to work as got to go elsewhere for food. Staff very unapologetic!!!

Lovely afternoon spent in the beer garden. Food was what you pay for. Cold cider was lovely. Outside area could do with a good jet hose down. But as spoons go it's a lovely big pub

They don't welcome dogs which is a downer unless they are for the needy. A bit behind the times to be honest as other hostelries provide meals for dogs at a fantastic price.

Mediocre food. Partner had gourmet bbq burger but it was a small burger cheese bbq sauce tomato nothing special. I had the.lon and herb chicken which was nice.

Standard Wetherspoons food - it was nice and the service was good. The pub itself was a nice big building with plenty of parking which was an added bonus. Will definitely go there again when I'm visiting Cheshire Oaks, which is just a few minutes away.
