I ordered cassian off just eat! I dont know who took the bite but i know it wasnt me!

Delivery guy just left food on door handle and never rang door bell ... Was sat there for hours ...

What a great bunch of lads! They’ve saved my night many times after a few too many in town, they know my order, offer to call me a taxi and even cured my hiccups(a permanent fix too)! 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Love the cashcard place, now my favorite in Chester. Get the shish. Extreme value for price.

Best kebab shop in Chester, now. Easily.

Wouldn't usually order for delivery, however we were feeling a bit lazy so decided to. Ordered through chester eats and spent around £30. Food arrived around 50 mins later and was all absolutely stone cold. I called the restaurant and the person who answered (rudely) told me that it couldn't be cold as it was sent straight out, and he doesn't have the authority to do anything about it but would speak to his manager and call me back. I then received a call from the manager, who was very rude and abrupt shouting at me, telling me that the food could not have been cold. He then said that he would get the driver to pick it up and take it back to the shop before sending a replacement out. I told him not to worry as I didn't want to wait another hour, and before I had chance to finish my sentence, he put the phone down on me. I would recommend AVOIDING at all costs.

The best takeaway ever! Food always good and fast service

I asked for 6 chicken wings, and it was £5.50, which is really expensive as for the taste it was just an ordinary wings nothing so special about it.

I wasn't expecting much from a kebab shop in Chester but this was very good. I ordered a large donner kebab and when I told them I didn't want salad, the loaded it up with extra meat. My wife had a vegetarian kebab which she really enjoyed. Will come here again the next time we are in Chester

Great place for a 2.30 am drive back from fishing Moston Dock food 4 stars service 3 stars (it was shutting down) atmosphere well I can't say 1 star went in for just some fries an he ended up putting Donna meat on aswell total shock or was that because it was closing sat there in car an ppl was still going in that bloke eating a burger made me look for some food lol 😆 😀 😉

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS TAKEAWAY! I ordered some late night food for my friend and I on JustEat, after about 20mins ordering we get notified that the driver was on his way but after 30mins later he never showed up the order was taking a little while than expected so I called up whilst I was trying to explain the situation the person ENDED the call on me. I am appalled as I always loved ordering from this place never once I had problems. Shame on you whoever picked up the phone. Disgusting behavior and customer service.

Was recommended this as the best takeaway in Chester. If this is the best, I feel for the rest of city. Extremely expensive. Extremely average. I’d recommend elsewhere. Also the staff are very pushy and rude. Disappointing

Been coming here for yearsssss, 2003 to be exact, everytime (at night) I drive home via Chester and get a donermeat and chips, always brilliant service by the boys, recommended.

Noticed i had missed call so i called back and was told by driver that he had delivered, waited out side and would not come, in ( i work at Hotel) when i called them they were not even bothered disgrace and will not be ordering again, app deleted i will 100% go else there are plenty of other take aways in Chester

I've been buying from 'The Vaspian' for more years than I can remember. I think it's been there for more than 30 years. Not sure if it has been taken over or not. I had a burger, which is not my usual, preferring a chicken kebab. The burger was tasty and the toasted bun adds to the flavour. I'll probably go back but missed the usual 'old faces'....

I don’t recommend getting anything from this takeaway, it’s over priced and you get a handfull of chips per portion, I had to wait 2 hrs for a delivery for it to be not what I asked 15 pound on a wrap with barley any meat on which smelt funny and was stone cold when arrived and got less then half a portion of chips, even if I was desperate I would not go here again.

A Chester institution, the Caspian has been serving top quality kebabs for decades. A great bunch of people, in a friendly atmosphere making fresh delicious food.

Visited the Caspian today as I was very hungry. So I decided to order a large doner meat and chips for £8.50. Whilst the donner meat was lovely there sadly wasn't much of it. The chips were also lacking in quantity. Feeling slightly disappointed as I ordered a large and I am still hungry. I used to get food from here since I was a child. My Mum used to bring me a kebab when she finished work over 30 years ago. It's always been one of my favorite place for a kebab. Feeling a bit hard done by and still starving. Hopefully they will put more meat on a large kebab in future. Disappointed :/

Dishonest, I watched them give me a small chips and charge me for a large. They lied to my face. They also tricked a drunk customer while I was there to keep his change

discusting!! dont order from here! i ordered via deliveroo some of my order came ,some was missing i rang up and was given verbal abuse calling me a liar...defo wont order from them again ever. food that arrived was poor also threw most out wouldnt even give it my dog. not even 1 star but couldnt remove it

Orderd from this restaurant and the only reason I'm putting 2 stars is becuase the guy who answers the phone is rude! It is okay to forget something from your order no one is perfect but answering a phone and saying let me check then putting phone down then ringing back then him being rude then putting phone down again then my wife ringing and putting phone down on her it is easy to just say I'm sorry about that I will get them to you as soon as possible. if I was the owner I would put someone else on the phone as the wrap i had was nice but becuase of the rudeness I was given I won't be spending my money here again! manners cost nothing!

Orderd food from here kebab cheese beans and chips and a burger banging food 👌👌 meat was nice was concerned about the portion at first but the quality was amazing so couldn't complain boss man seemed really friendly happy good atmosphere inside the takeaway

Very rude on the phone and delivered sub par food which gave me an upset stomach to the point of food poisoning.

Absolutely terrible pizza was horrible no tomatoes base at all, Kebab was horrible meat was no flavour no sauce what I asked for never again.

This place is amazing, it’s always incredible service, speedy and reliable and the food tastes great. It’s just what you need after a long day on shift or after a night out on the town. The man who delivered to me the past few times is so great as well really friendly and lovely.

I got the large kofta kebab which cost £8. The wrap was good, but I wish there was more meat. I would recommend choosing the shish, lamb or chicken kebab instead for getting a bigger portion.

Just very average but probably wouldn't go out my way again. Mixed kebab was quite pricey, not big enough, not impressed with the meat or salad. Its edible but just not up to the mark.

Bloody awful experience, the caspian charged me then refunded me an hour later. Absolutely ridiculous, when the food eventually showed up it tasted like the frozen pizza you get from Aldi. I’ll never go back.

Shocking... I've ordered there before and it wasn't too bad but yesterday I ordered chip in a pitta with salad, the salad was laughable, tiny bit of lettuce only, like a pinch, barely any chips (a handful, a lot smaller than small chips), and the pitta just crumbled, unedible with chips, that was obviously frozen. Such a shame but there's so much better takeout in chester.

Order cancelled with just eat after accepting online, offered no explanation. Obviously realised we were a little too far out for their liking even though they were listed for delivery under our postcode. Seem to remember it happening before with this joint but thought would give them another chance, won't again.

Worst pizza shop in Chester. After waiting for 90 minutes, the delivery driver called us screaming for us to come out of the building because he was outside waiting, but we were already waiting outside for him and he was nowhere to be seen. He eventually turned up and threw our food our way and left without saying anything. We then went inside and opened up our pizzas boxes, to find that we had been given the completely wrong order. We called them and after arguing about it they agreed to send us what we had paid for. We waited outside for another half an hour before the driver turned up once again, and he did not even apologise, or say anything for that matter. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely disgusting no effort at all has been put into this food Margherita pizza with no tomato sauce n the kebab looked like it had been cut by a child fuming

Pizza tasted funny according to the kids so they didnt eat more than a mouthful. I at half a pizza then out of nowhere had to run to the bathroom and throw up several times. Was sick half the night . Will never use again plus they missed a drink off. Never felt so ruff . Avoid

This place is fantastic! During lockdown they saved our sanity. The house special kebab is so huge I had to share it! The garlic bread / pizza and curly fries are awesome too. We used the Deliveroo app and the Caspian was a super quick delivery. We’ve used them a couple of times 🐷 Our food always came piping hot!

New to the area, went to 3 other places in town tonight before getting to this one, none were wearing gloves accept 1 employee at one place who took over from someone who wasn't. Kind of missing the point. Got a refund and bye bye. Thank God I didn't have it delivered, I wouldn't have seen. There wasn't anyone to see them in this shop when I passed yet they were wearing, and still wearing gloves while preparing food. I won't have other people dictating how seriously I take this pandemic. This place has the right attitude and care. Helpful, polite easygoing staff. Food hit the spot too. Will return.

DODGY FOOD AND BUSINESS. Insisted I paid over the phone and asked for sensitive card information. Now they've sold my card info and I've gone overdrawn on my old card that is no longer in use. Do not deal with this takeaway. Used to be good as well, what's happened??

Small portion received when ordered a large, got given one small can of coke when having payed 2.50 for a bottle and then got all my phone calls ignored when trying to complain.

Needed a place to stay to wait for my train, the staff was kind enough to let me occupy their space till past closing. The pizza I ordered was impeccable and served rapidly. 10/10 would go again.

The worst kebab ever! Also, the chips were soggy with black mouldy bits on the end (I was hungry but I still didn’t eat them). How can someone burn the kebab bread 😂 Literally a blind person trying to make a better kebab would still make a better kebab than I have had from here. (horrible)!!!!

Disgusted. CANNOT believe I have just been refused food. The service I have just received after being promised good service following my recent order of CHICKEN burgers when I received BEEF burgers. I was reassured that next time I called I would receive good custom, however, instead I was refused service after a bad review. I will NEVER be ordering from the Caspian again.

They're always very friendly, and are open late. the food tastes good and satisfies the appetite, but sometimes the döner meat can be a bit on the dry side. It's situated on a street with many other late night takeaway shops, but I would recommend this one over the other due to the friendliness of the staff and the food seems to be cheaper and better quality too. Just watch the pizzas, as they're scolding hot when you get them and you'll be leaving with a burnt mouth if you try and eat them straight away.
