The best Sunday lunch I've had in a restaurant for years! We were a party of 8 with 2 fussy kids (SEN) 1 vegan and 1 celiac AND it was father's day so eating out can be dodgy with that combination! We were all catered for with ease. The food was completely delicious with a choice of beef, lamb, chicken or a roasted veg tart with all the trimmings - and it really was ALL with stuffing, Yorkshire's, 2 type of potatoes, pigs in blankets, veg.... Good value too. The service was great, attentive and relaxed. I will recommend the wheatsheaf to all my friends.

THE BEST! Where to start? Picture postcard village. Traditional thatched English pub. Hev, Gaz and John, you guys are amazing. Super friendly and so welcoming. Food...to die for! We stayed in our motorhome overnight and Hev welcomed us as we entered the car park. Then joined us over a beer in the garden. It was live music night. Live Irish Music...fantastic! A few Guinness were had and food off the specials board. Cooked by John. Fabulous! Lovely staff and chatty locals make you feel so welcome, you won't want to leave! We'll be back, time and time again! Love you guys...😉

A fabulous village pub, family and dog friendly, and offers delicious food. The Sunday roast is a must and the new bar menu is great too. Went to a bottomless brunch yesterday which didn't disappoint. The food was amazing, cocktails were perfect and the procecco was flowing. So much better than other venues I've tried. All served by friendly staff, what more could you ask for. Thoroughly recommend the Wheatsheaf.

Absolutely fantastic pub with the best owners, manager and staff. Very dog friendly- my two love going for the fuss and the scratchings! The Sunday dinners are amazing, good value and good, tasty, hot food. Can thoroughly recommend the bottomless brunch - food was fresh, tasty and divine and the cocktails and Prosecco just kept coming. Myself and my friends had a great time and afterwards went into the bar to enjoy the band. Huge kudos to the chefs and attentive staff. Will definitely be booking again! 🥂🥂

We turned up, without ringing first, for an overnight motorhome stay at this beautiful thatched pub. The landlord saw us arriving and immediately organised a slight rearrangement of cars to enable us to more easily park our 7.5ft van. Both the locals & landlords immediately made us feel very welcome; apologised for the lack of food that night; and invited us to order a takeaway to eat in the pub. The comfortable interior, reasonably priced drinks and lovely beer garden offered the perfect ethos on a gorgeous sunny day. Lovely to meet and chat to Heather. Many thanks.

Currently cat sitting for my cousin in Far Cotton, The Wheatsheaf was recommended to us as my son has ceoliac's disease & where we live is very limited as to where we can eat out. We are so glad we visited, the food was 100% spot on, never have l ever had such a nice gluten free pizza, the base was perfect. The other's who were with me had a different pie each and wow, the pastry was out of this world & the pies were filled to the brim with the fillings. We ended up taking dessert to go as no one had any room left along with 3 pies. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was nice & relaxed. Highly recommend The Wheatsheat 💙

This coffee house has a lovely atmosphere to it. With careful lighting and artwork displayed it has a sophisticated feel. The staff are helpful, patient and understanding. Meals are well presented and balanced and I got two and a half cups of tea out of the pot, so very good for value.
