Overpriced hotel. Don't even bother ordering room service, average food which is marked up and then extra charge on top. Many more less expensive hotels give better value

The room is bigger than expected, the bed and pillows are clean, there is a coffee machine, and the shower room has hot water quickly. However, if two people bring suitcases, there will not be enough space in one room to spread out two suitcases at the same time. Another thing that needs improvement is the poor TV signal, with the picture and sound freezing about every 20 seconds. And what I would say is that the personnel training is seriously inadequate. On the second day of my stay, I went to have breakfast in the morning. When I returned to my room, I found that the housekeeper was already cleaning my room and asked me not to go in and to wait at the door. I only had 20-30 minutes to eat breakfast, but the housekeeper took the opportunity to come in and clean. I felt disrespected and had no privacy. And when I called the front desk to report the problem, hoping that it wouldn't happen again, a female receptionist told me to "come down to the reception and talk to the House keeping manager directly." As a receptionist at a well-known hotel, how could they speak to guests like that? Don't they understand what "the guest should go directly to the front desk" means? And if guests have to go to the front desk to report the problem, then what's the point of calling? So I asked her to transfer the call directly to the House keeping manager. She was reluctant at first, but after my insistence, she reluctantly said that she would ask the House keeping manager to call me. Later, I didn't receive any calls, so I called the reception again. This time, the second female receptionist answered the phone. She transferred me to her supervisor, who seemed to be a customer relations manager or someone in a similar role. The supervisor's attitude was very friendly and sincere, , assuring me that housekeeping staff would no longer enter rooms without permission. I sincerely appreciate her response. I have complete respect for the hard work and dedication of hotel staff. Initially, I felt everything was great when I checked in, but after this incident, the attitude and response of the front desk staff were truly frustrating. When a guest has an issue, the receptionist should find a way to resolve it, not simply push the responsibility onto another department (Housekeeping) or even ask the guest to come down to the front desk. If a guest has to personally go to the front desk to address a problem, it has already escalated to a level of formal complaint. I’m not sure if the reception staff at this hotel understand the difference, but one thing is certain—they need to be retrained.

A fantastic stay at the Curio Westminster. The team there were friendly and eager to help wherever possible. The hotel is very modern and spotlessly clean. Great location, just a short walk from Westminster Underground and key attractions, alternatively there were always taxi's outside the hotel if you don't fancy the walk. Breakfast great and a Starbucks onsite if you need a caffeine grab and go!

Our room was clean, our bed was very comfortable, especially the pillows were legendary 😁😁 only our room was a little small. The location is very good, we walked almost everywhere. Big Ben, London Eye etc. It's only 15 minutes away :) We also had a coffee machine in our room and new coffees arrived every day as we finished 😍😍 We did not have breakfast at the hotel. There were many options for breakfast close to the hotel, I suggest you consider it ☺️ hot water, air conditioning, all of them were very good, we had no problems🫧🫧🌸

Smack in the middle of 3 train station. Bus stop just right outside and convenient to go to city area. Highly recommend but like what others said. Room only can accommodate one luggage space we have to keep another luggage close and store in the cupboard. Very cozy and clean space. Travel with baby and nice of them to offer a baby cot for us. For the price paid, it’s comfortable. The pillow is soft and my husband keep having neck pain

I was here for a quick weekend away to celebrate my birthday. The staff was kind, the rooms were nice and clean, and the location couldn’t be better! Close in walking distance to the Central/District/Jubilee lines and to the Millibank Pier if you plan on taking the UberBoat. On a side note, the WC and shower were a bit dark with the singular light bulb for each.

The Westminster Hotel is my favorite place to stay in London. After touring London and staying in various neighborhoods and hotels over the years, I've really found The Westminster Hotel to be my top selection over The Strand, Conrad, Trafalgar, Waldorf Astoria, The Jefferson, and others. The staff is extremely kind and professional. I've gotten to know Alessia, Angelica, and Mary over multiple visits and appreciate them very much. They help and outstanding hotel shine even brighter. My husband and I recently stayed for three nights at this well placed Hilton hotel. The staff on the welcoming front-desk were excellent (I would particularly mention Prince Joseph and a young lady trainee called Aamina) and resolved the car parking issue that we encountered. The car park manager Anuar was also a delightful guy who made sure that we began our stay in the best possible way. Although we quickly became used to it, the bedroom was accessed through the room containing the washbasin, with doors off to the shower and toilet (a layout we haven't encountered before!) and the bedroom was a bit tight, thus the reason for only four stars for the room. From this hotel one can easily get to venues North and South via public transport. It has a friendly bar and a buzzy vibe. The breakfast was exceptional. We will definitely stay there again.

Recently stayed here for a long weekend. 13th - 15th December. Decided to park in underground car park. ? In my job role i cover 50+ Hotels Restaurants Pubs a year . Hotel itself lovely. View was good as booked a Premium Queen corner room. Reception staff Polite friendly & professional. Especially front of house gentleman Vejay. Excellent accommodating etc. Room good /bed /shower etc. Bar ok seemed very unfull for such a big hotel including restaurant there. Wonder why this could be.? You buy drinks.? Choice to tip yes or no? However on receiving check out bill. Your charged a big fee for services? Very strange / unfair. If you goto the bar to buy a drink ? That should be end of it. Not extra charges on top. Breakfast shocking. Fresh juice really watered down. Cold bacon / sausages. One coffee machine broken not repaired or replaced over long weekend. One toaster broken again the same. Not replaced or repaired. No plates for cooked breakfast. Asked two members of staff as queue building up. 10 min wait for plates. No spoons or bowls. For cereals etc. Again asked staff. Gave up waiting after 10 minutes. No Maple syrup for pancakes. Bottle empty . Again asked staff. Gave up waiting after 10 minutes. Worst part of trip. Car park. Very tight to get into due to size & concrete pillars. Also only one lift goes to basement carpark. On day of leaving. Decided to take bags to car park. Asked staff which lift . One on left only. Got to basement via lift . Bags in the car. Pressed button for lift . No lift 20 minutes. I was trapped in basement. As if that lift shaft is constantly busy above . Trying to call it to basement is non existent. There are no stairs to get up to hotel reception area. I had to drive car out of carpark. As metal shutter would not lift. Unless car there. Drove round to front of building to get out. As a former veteran I do not like being locked in some areas/ spaces. Spoke to reception staff about this serious issue. They said they would speak to Manager. What if there was a fire in basement or an elderly person. Trying to get up in lift again. Not acceptable. It really spoilt trip. Waiting for someone to call me from hotel.?

Cannot fault the service here, concierge were so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately was not very impressed by the room, whilst it was very clean, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in an international stay. We also had to move rooms due to shower leaking. In regard to breakfast, I found the food very underwhelming. There wasn’t much to choose from and it was pretty average. The man making the omelettes was very good though.

The strangest room Floorplan I have ever seen in my years of travel! As we opened the door from the communal hallway of our upgraded queen Supreme room, we are standing in the bathroom, no kidding, an open hallway bathroom you walk through to get to the absolutely smallest bedroom I have ever paid to stay in! There are plastic rolling casters on the bed, beware, they stick out under the bed and deeply hurt unshielded toes! The staff that contacted us by email, as a Hilton diamond for life customer, were lovely, but the staff actually in the hotel were mediocre. Dents in the room walls rounded out our disappointing stay. Ever year we come to London at this time, we always stay at Hilton properties, we will not stay here again.

My sister and I stayed 3 night in November 2024. At the time I booked the rooms, the price was very reasonable compared to other properties. Check-in was easy and the staff welcoming. The rooms were nicely appointed and very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and found the selections just right. That same restaurant and bar offered delicious drinks in the evening. The concierges, Adelino and another gentleman, were helpful answering our questions, too. This hotel is on a fairly quiet street, very close to the river, and reasonable walking distance to sights. I wish a tube stop was a bit closer but that's not a deal-breaker. There are great restaurants within 15 minutes walking, too. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The worst night in a hotel I have ever had, in the middle of the night an evacuation alarm sounded, an absurdly unbearable alarm, we ran down the emergency staircase along with all the hotel guests, obviously scared, without knowing what was happening, We went down and there was no one from the hotel explaining what was happening, after a while a person appeared with a megaphone saying that everything was fine and that we could go up again, this was at 1am, obviously a horrible scare! What supposedly happened is that the fire alarm had been activated, without anything happening! Also that same day there was a fire alarm drill precisely. And at night it supposedly activated itself! What I didn't like is that the police didn't even come to the hotel to see what was happening, in these cases the police are supposed to be notified (I understand that that should happen) Horrible experience!

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at the Curio Hilton Hotel. At first glance, the location seems good, but in reality, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the nearest tube station in any direction, making the location quite inconvenient. The hotel is also completely overpriced for what it offers. We booked two rooms for three nights, and both rooms were in very poor condition. We found hairs in the shower, the floors were not properly cleaned, there were not enough towels, and one of the windows was cracked. The coffee machine in the room was dirty, and there weren’t enough capsules. Although the hotel advertises Nespresso in the room, it was actually coffee from another brand, which was disappointing. The hotel is also very noisy. The breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever had in London. It was absolutely uninspired, the selection was small and of poor quality, and the staff was rude and uninterested. It wasn’t even possible to order a soy cappuccino. Furthermore, we were unable to check into our room on time. Despite being Diamond members and arriving shortly before noon, we had to wait three hours for our room, which we could only access at 3:30 PM, even though the official check-in time is 3:00 PM. Again, the reception staff was unfriendly and rude. Overall, I can only recommend avoiding this hotel. There are better hotels in London, even better Hilton hotels, that are more worth the money.

The Westminster Curio Collection Hotel in London has all the bases covered.... and then some! THE BASICS LOCATION: Quiet, convenient, easy to find/park. While the "action" is just to the north in Soho, China Town, Piccadilly Circus, Leister Square, Mayfair, Covent Gardens, the South Bank and surrounding neighborhoods, The Westminster location is perfect because you can easily walk, grab a cab or take the tube to all of the above. Additionally, the area immediately surrounding the hotel is very quiet at night... so you never have to worry about late night partying or protest marches keeping you up! As an added bonus, the Tate Museum, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Parliament are perfect 5 minute walks from the hotel. ROOMS: Because of the size of my family, we had 4 rooms and they were all spotless, modern, with excellent bathroom facilities (the sink, toilet and shower are separate so more than one family member can be using them at the same time), there is a make up table with lighted makeup mirror in the sleeping area, coffee machine, fridge, safe in the closet and plentiful electrical/USB outlets everywhere! The most importantly, beds were very comfortable! COMPLAINT: The closets need more drawers to unpack and store clothes. While there is plenty of room for hanging clothes, both my wife and I had to "live out of our suitcases" because there was nowhere to store our folded clothes in the closet. COMMON AREAS: There is ample parking for arriving guests/taxis in front of hotel. The Ground Floor lobby is large and has plenty of front desk stations for check-in/check out and also houses the Concierge. Upstairs you will find the absolutely huge restaurant and a well stocked bar. FOOD/DRINK: Well above average on both counts. My family looked forward to breakfast every morning (I particularly liked made to order omelets) and every member of my family had their own favorites by the end of the week! COMPLAINT: If you don't eat pork, your choices are very limited. No turkey or chicken sausage, No turkey bacon, no Impossible Burgers, No Beyond Meat... We tried their vegan sausages one time and they were awful... between all of us couldn't finish even one. THE STAFF: TRULY EXCEPTIONAL!!! The senior staff definitely deserve kudos for such a well run hotel... Special thanks to Head Concierge Adelino Moreira and Front Office Manager Bruno Romalde! However, it was the staff that interacted with the guests every day that made our visit to The Westminster so special that, when we had a day open up at the end of itinerary, we went back to London and stayed you know where! Samuela, (front desk supervisor) was a delight. Conor (concierge) took my pre-visit calls and made sure we knew everything we needed to know before we arrived. Oleh, a new employee in maintenance, went way above and beyond to find a replacement for the make-up mirror in our room. And saving the best for last, Anuar, Sam and Daniel (concierge office) made every aspect of our visit an absolute pleasure! Whether we had questions about: 1) Where to go, 2) What to do. 3) Where to stay in other cities, 4) Plays, 5) Car Rentals, or 6) Where locals go to avoid tourists, they were kind, patient beyond belief and informative. They helped us turn a great trip into one that was truly incredible!

The location and the staff here is what made our stay so great. The breakfast team in particular were so friendly and welcoming. While I appreciate a good theme, the decor of this hotel definitely interfered with its functionality in some places. The hallways are incredibly dark. I can imagine someone with compromised eyesight having difficulty navigating. I also feel like the space in the rooms could have been utilized better (maybe build in summer small drawers in places?) Not a fan of the separate shower "room" however the rain shower itself was lovely. Overall, I would stay here again. The bed was comfortable, the location incredibly convenient, and the staff fabulous. Oh and air conditioning is amazing! If you're a big family, you may want to book a suite or multiple rooms for a little more space. Our 2 suitcases made for a very cramped room.

I stayed at The Westminster London Hilton Curio Collection Hotel, a renovated Hilton DoubleTree, for 6 days. I found the bathroom design of the Premier Queen room quite strange at first but got used to it. Front desk and reception were fabulous, in particular, Vijay, Mary & Isabella. The restaurants, bars, and housekeeping were very CX oriented. The location is very close to bus and ferry transport, within walking distance of the top London attractions, and for me on this trip, was the Cenotaph as I was invited to attend the 90th Anniversary of the Belgian Military Parade. What I thought was clever in the breakfast buffet restaurant was this little sign for your table that you turn down when you have completed your meal. This allows single/business people to come and go for food without losing their table. Thank you, Westminster London Hilton Curio Collection Hotel Team. 🤗 ♥️

Honestly one of the weirdest hotels I've ever stayed at. The hallways are intentionally dark to create an "air of mystery". I don't really need my hallway to be mysterious. The rooms are super odd as well. The room and bathroom was basically all one thing. The check-in staff were kind of rude and acted like we were crazy for trying to check in one hour early. The elevators kept not working and the stairwell door was locked. We got trapped on our floor with two kids trying to get down to their parents. I had to call down and ask them to unlock the stairwell door which they didn't want to do. It was quite literally the only way off our floor. The elevators had this issue the rest of our stay. Breakfast was included which was decent. The hotel is close to Westminister Abbey and Big Ben but that's about it. However, the hotel has excellent AC and the beds were comfy. I used points for this stay so I was glad I didn't shell out a ton of money to stay here.

We were so glad to have stayed at Westminster London, Curio by Hilton. We were welcomed by Mary on the front desk and also we found Daniel so very helpful in suggestions of what to do and where to go. I believe he gives 110% in a customer service role. The room was neat & tidy, bed comfortable and the location was so handy to so many venues & sights.

I am so pleased we chose this location. We arrived early morning (7am) from the US. We had prearrange transport with the hotel. The driver was on time, curious and attentive. We arrive at the hotel at 9am, staff immediately greeted us, knew who we were by name and collected the luggage for us. All staff we had contact with were very pleasant and apologize many times that our room was not ready. This was a pleasant surprise since we had no expectations of checking in untill the standard checkin time. Staff arranged for a taxi to take us to Harrods (our request). I agree with other revires, the location is fantastic, close to everything. Our room, a 2 room suite is wonderful, comfortable and exceeded expectations. Bravo Hilton Westminister, you are one of the best kept secrets in London!

Me: a solo traveler who stays at hotels and at least 35 different 4+ star hotels a year for 40-50% of the year. It depends on the reason you stay here will change my review. For instance, if you must be in Westminster & it’s strictly for work then this is a hotel I recommend. If you are a solo traveler or couple and not necessarily for business but more for sightseeing, I would say… only when you are sightseeing in the area; ie: Westminster abbey. The layout of the rooms are very smart, the person who designed the space utilized it to make it feel spacious without wasting space. NEspresso machines in room & fridge + nice desks in a nook. For a solo or couple they are nice rooms but the area is extremely quiet and not many good options of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. To get the London vibe you need to ride to Covent Garden/soho/Oxford Circus area but there isn’t good means of public transport there unless u are open to taking the bus for a bit. Otherwise a lot of $ toward Ubers. After 3 nights I needed a change of scenery as I felt very isolated from real London as it’s like staying in Wall Street in NYC… nothing to do there but I’ve stayed here twice, 5 nights in 2023 and 3 nights in 2024. The restaurant changed from stk to an independent one and I don’t like the room service as much with this new restaurant, it was subpar service. Some staff is friendly some are extremely curt. It’s a hit or miss. I don’t think they are as productive as they could be in being helpful and welcoming given they have one of the most lobby staff I’ve seen in all the Hilton hotels in London (I’ve stayed at them all as a diamond member) Going back to size: if you are with family, def don’t book a deluxe queen or king for more than 2 people. I don’t know if thrrr are suite options for families. I saw 3 adults go into a hotel room (they must’ve been splitting) but it is weird to do that in a 4 star hotel where the rooms really are only suited for 2.

Room was good. Hotel could do better in ensuring charges are correct upon checking out. System should be in place to confirm guests of the hotel who go for breakfast (not just basing on room numbers) are giving out the correct room numbers. The whole good experience tainted by having to follow up incorrect bank charges.

Writing this review from the perspective of a Hilton Diamond member, overall I was underwhelmed with my stay at this Curio Hotel, I thought the room design was uncomfortable, strangely enough the shower was in the middle room and small in size so if there was any leakage from the shower then it would leak across the entire room floor. The staff was not necessarily rude but not really friendly either, I feel like the energy of the staff don’t necessarily match the Hilton Brand. When checking in, I was surprised as a Dimond member that I was not offered a complimentary drink at the Bar since there is no Executive Lounge. The positive about this location is literally the location, about 5 to 10 city blocks from major tourist attractions, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey & Parliament.

Fantastic location, so close to the main London attractions and yet so quiet and away from the noise. We received a wonderful warm welcome from Vijay in the concierge team and we were so impressed by the cleanliness and modern facilities of the hotel. All of the staff were friendly and professional and we felt really safe and comfortable here. The bed gave me the best night's sleep and I would highly recommend this hotel for a good value luxury stay.

(English will follow) We had a wonderful stay at The Westminster London hotel. The rooms are not only very pretty but also very pleasant, offering comfort and an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The hotel restaurant offers absolutely delicious meals, and lunch offers a lovely variety of dishes, ensuring a wonderful start to the day. The hotel is ideally located, close to everything, but is in a quiet, residential area, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds. However, what struck us most was the extraordinary kindness of all the employees we interacted with. They were all nicer than the last, extremely polite and helpful. My partner and I were particularly surprised by the kindness of all the staff. We had several interactions with Daniel, who answered all our questions about London, recommended some really cool places to try, and made sure all our needs were met. The Guest Manager, Zed, also personally ensured that our stay lived up to our expectations. We fell in love with London, and I sincerely think that the kindness of the employees of this hotel had a lot to do with it. Conveniently located to Westminster area, but also walkable to many other desirable London locations. Rooms come with a pocket door to separate between sleeping area and entry/bath area. While the hotel is generally quite quiet this added layer of sliding shut the door is appreciated. Morning breakfast buffet has everything your little heart could desire to achieve a proper British Breakfast. Eggs made to order, gluten-free separate bread area, personal pot of coffee, fresh fruits, fresh baked goods. 😋 Staff through out hotel is quick to respond to customer requests and needs as best they can. Updated March 7, 2024. The hotel has recently added water dispensing machines on each floor near the lifts. There is also a new Happy Hour from 3-6 in 1st floor restaurant. Small plates and drinks ranging from 3-9£s.

Staff very good. They are trying to create an atmosphere of mystery( due to MI6 building being close by) , the halls to the rooms are black and poorly lite, apparently they think that this is mysterious, wrong! Just dark and dangerous. Breakfast and dinner were quite good. Rooms are small.

Honestly not worth it. The rooms are so small, no way its 21sqm like advertised. The bathroom is like on the hallway, you enter the room and next to the door its the sink, its so weird. You exit the shower directly on the hardwood floors in the room, so the floor gets wet in the room. There is almost no space around the bed. The tv is not smart. The location is so quiet that theres not even a store close by. I’ve stayed at other hotels for the same price and sooo much better in London.

This is the second time we came to one of the L'ETO's restaurants and is probably not going to be the last. We ate English breakfast, which was very authentic and tasted great but was a little too greasy for our taste. The banana bread late was exceptional and the chai late was good. The signature cake we were recommended was delicious. In general we love the atmosphere, cakes and the whole vibe of the place. Would recommend for any tourist coming to London.

my second time since discovering this spot of pinoy in the midst of heaving Oxford Circ. the first time was 5* however this time was mediocre due to the waiting time to get my food (more than half an hour until I nudged) and it was only chicken inasal & a cuppa chicken scratchings!!! rice ended up soggy as well. shame-o😕
