The Weigh-In in Perth & Kinross

Absolutely outstanding food and service! Definitely worth a visit! Jon and Fernanda truly care about the quality of food and service they provide and this shows in everything they do. We can’t believe we have been coming to the area for years and haven’t visited before and we will most definitely be back.

This would definitely be a five star from us in the past, however we are a little concerned now that the hotel has been taken over by a larger group of hotels. We have been coming here for over ten years, and the hotel and owners have always made our stay very special. They were a tough act to follow. We were a little concerned knowing they were planning to leave, so on our most recent visit enquired as to what the current situation was. The staff are all the same and so is the chef, so thats good, but there were quite a few little things missing that we had noticed. In addition, on one evening a course was not available ( even though the hotel was quiet ) plus three different wine choices were unavailable. This never happened with the previous owners. Sadly, when a group take over a hotel, it loses the personal touch, and we are concerned the bean counters will change it a bit more over the coming months. We will keep an eye on here for updates and other comments before considering our next visit, but sincerely hope it stays unique.

This place is clean, tidy and a pleasant to be in I would recommend it highly. We only went for a coffee but the food being served looked delicious

Hemos visitado en varias ocasiones durante los 2 años pasados y siempre recibimos excepcional estándar de servicio y excelente comida de degustación, algo que parece ser difícil de encontrar en muchas diners, lo que le pregunto por qué estas otras empresas están todavía en negocios. Nunca hemos tenido algo más que de las comidas excepcionales en una gran relación calidad-precio, es una pena que no viven más cerca. Espero que Alec veranos volveremos algún día y le deseamos y su personal lo mejor dondequiera que estén. Graeme & Mairi
