The Wee Scone Shop in Glasgow City

Always go Into wee Shop whenever in Govan & Staff Always Helpful. However I’d Left My Bag On Chair that Had 2 Expensive Phones. A work Phone & Own. Also Expensive Glasses & These Brilliant ladies Along With Driver Of DHL delivery Got My Bag Back To me. Restores Faith in Human Kind. I still can’t Believe it. Thank you so much Ladies. I appreciate you checking with Delivery Driver also. I was left without a Phone or anyway of Getting Down 🥰

Este pequeño café está dentro del centro comercial Govan Cross. Es un café escocés / británico bastante estándar que vende la variedad tradicional de alimentos. El interior de la tienda también es muy estándar. No es moderno ni actualizado, pero es principalmente para locales y es lo que es. Debido a las reglas de distanciamiento social, no había tantas mesas y todas estaban ocupadas de todos modos. No hay muchas opciones cocinadas para vegetarianos, así que pedí un moca y una rosquilla de crema para llevar, ya que no quería compartir mesa como lo haría normalmente. El Cream Donut era indulgente, encantador y cremoso, pero un poco demasiado dulce. El Mocha era sorprendentemente bueno, ciertamente tan bueno como cualquier otro servido por una de las grandes cadenas de cafés.

Fui con un amigo para una conversación rápida. Tuve sopa de lentejas y un panecillo y mantequilla. La sopa estaba sabrosa pero un poco demasiado salada. El pan integral era suave y delicioso. Un amigo tomó un café. Es un café promedio con un personal amable. El único inconveniente fueron dos cajas en cada extremo del largo mostrador, lo que significaba que había confusión sobre a qué cola unirse, la comida para llevar o sentarse. Así que fue enviado de una cola a otra.

Uso esta tienda bastante a menudo, me gustan sus bollos de patata. El personal es amable. Los tienen rollos de la mañana, comida caliente que se puede comprar.

Gran lugar para el almuerzo, el personal lo toma y la comida siempre es de buen gusto, vale la pena una visita si en la zona, tortas yumu

Friendly staff in this busy little cafe. Good prices for typical Scottish fare - pies, chips, scones (of course), tea, and soup and roll. Unfortunately, the vegetable soup was thin and salty, but the roll was super fresh with real butter. However, I would go there again and try the scones or cakes, which looked superb.

If you like a variety of scones which are amazing by the way it is well worth a visit to see just how ..... well i could tell you but it would spoil it for you ... JUST GO SEE FOR YOUR SELF'S

Yummy bakery goods well worth getting the subway to Govan for, staff are very friendly as well. I always end up buying more than I intended

A bakery in the middle of Govan Cross shopping Centre. Tables close together, so not the best place for a confidential chat. Soup, rolls, toasties served all day by nice ladies. Awful coffee.Toilets inaccessible to anyone in a wheel chair.

Strawberry tarts are to die for , staff nice and chatty .Clean shop and well stocked display of food to eat in or take away.

Had some soup always piping hot, love this wee shop, they are miles better than Greggs and lassies in shop always smiling. Food is ace.

Great local bakers providing home baking. Also has a coffee area with morning fare and lunch items. Unfortunately the toilets are up a steep staircase.

New staff since last visit , very friendly and welcoming now . Food delicious and fresher. Atmosphere very relaxing . Large variety of fresh salad rolls and delicious cakes , toasties and homemade soup . Will recommend and come back in a flash. Could make some home made cookies of such like other shop in town to give shop that smell of home baking. Mmmmmmm
