The Wee Diner in Fife

First of all ,the quality of the breakfast was just average,coffe ,more like a weak tea.bacon not crispy ,then the server pretend to forget that he has to give me £2 change,terrible attitude,rude,dirty ,sticky tables, just bad experience

we (myself & sons girlfriend) stopped here for a late lunch and I ordered, at the counter, mince & tatties, she ordered steak pie with chips, as well as a latte & bottle of water. After quite a lengthy wait my food arrived with her coffee. Thinking that nothing can be wrong with it, I'm sorry to say that I found no onion in the mince, and it was really quite bland. About 5 mins later her food arrived, as a chef she was shocked to find that the steak pie is a portion of stew with a pastry lid, very watery gravy, and the chips needed another few minutes in the fryer. We ate what we could because we were both hungry but will certainly not be back again. The amount of customers in at the time of our visit, didn't warrant the length of time we waited for our food.

Always get a great bacon roll here, plenty of bacon well cooked, and the service is excellent. I come here at least once a week.

Got a delivery today, not I’m pressed at all, ordered apple pie and custard, it was put into a polystyrene box which when we took it out of the plastic bag the custard was spilt out of the polystyrene box into the brown bag, when we opened the lid the apple pie was mush, straight in the bin, also my husbands tea had a hair in it, I called them to tell them about it they said they were sorry and they’d deliver a fresh tea and apple pie, I said I didn’t want anything else replaced I just wanted to let them know what had happened, after all why would you put hot apple pie & custard into a polystyrene box with gaps ?, won’t be ordering ever again.

Called in to this cafe this morning, ordered 2 small breakfasts with a tea & coffee. Breakfast consisted of 1 sausage, fried egg beans (cold) and enough mushrooms to feed another 2 people. Plates were cold, and the tea wasn't as hot as it could have been. It's a long time since we were in this cafe, food was good that visit, but after today we wont be back.

The breakfast was ok I thing unless I'm on the pan later cold plates don't help the only thing that was hot was my tea the hygiene is so poor in there kitchen who passed this place and cash only means no vat to I won't recommend this place to anyone

Visited on Saturday for something to eat. Reasonably priced. Friendly service and good breakfast with coffee. Just the right amount of food too satisfy. Definitely be back.
