Got food from here for the first time last week and it was lovely so tasty we live in Ware and it will be are new takeaway place got 2 kebabs with salad and large chips delivered on time by a very friendly delivery driver great service cheers 👍🏼

The Wash BBQ House serves the best food I've had in a while. It was really delicious. I highly recommend it. The staff are also very friendly.

Have been ordering from here for a few years now and has always been fantastic. But I feel the last few months the food has gone really down hill. Meat is chewy and fatty, never used to be. Have always ordered a chip kebab with salad and chili sauce, always made brilliantly, now all of a sudden they have no idea what I'm talking about and just throw some chips ina box with a bit of bread. Really want this place to get better again but fear may end up starting to go somewhere else.

I ordered food over 2 hours ago and it still has not turned up. I phoned after 1 hour had passed and got through to someone who said the driver was on their way and would be 10 minutes. I live 5 minutes down the road. No one has arrived and it’s been another hour and 20 minutes since then. I have since tried to call over 5 times and the phone is now not being answered. Really poor service and my money had just been taken with no way to get a refund.

Since the take over the new owners are brilliant very polite food is amazing quality food taste authentic Will be my regular kebab shop from now on

£15 for chips and mixed donner service, I feel prices are too high. The meat was quite dry, and the box was made up of mainly rice. The pitta was shop bought. I can't say I've had much better in East Herts as they're all not great anymore, but it was nothing special. Salad was nice, pickled cabbage good but this comes with kebabs as standard.

These guys never fail! This is definitely our favourite kebab place in Hertford. Delicious food, great service, and it's fairly priced. Love the Friday chicken doner and the extra garlic sauce 😋 and this review comes a little overdue, after a few years of using the shop.

I have tried Turkish take aways from London to Hertfordshire, well most of them. But honestly this got to be the number ONE out of all of them. I have tried their kebab , Shish and burger, it will always be served hot and fresh off the charcoal grill. Most importantly the dude who I guess owns it and the rest of the staff is extremely friendly, always had a personalised experience there. Generous portion size, reasonably priced and always hot and fresh. I will definitely recommend it to try it for yourself.

The owner Onur and his colleague Ash were very sweet and helpful! My first time there after a night out and they made my experience a pleasant one :)

Best kebab ever, consistently great food. We get food from here a fair bit, sometimes several times a week. Everything is superb, we have tried a large number of things on the menu. In particular the lamb shish is incredibly tender, puts actual restaurants to shame, and the lamacun wrap is a solid winner too. Do wish they did a bulgar option instead of rice though..

Chicken shish wraps are really good

Ordered classic gourmet burger, wings with rice/salad, and falafel wrap. Was delivered on time and food was spot on. All fresh ingredients and full of flavour. Wish there was a place like this local to where I live.

This is a place for the best Kebabs usually. Have used this place 5 or 6 times. Although, a shame as after ordering the special burger with beef and chicken. The chicken was off, it gave off a bad odour. We called and mentioned this to staff, they said that they would mention it to management and to mention it when we next ordered. Well today after a hard day's work we mentioned it as we ordered. Nothing was done so it was pointless to mention it. Then we ordered Kebabs and received them without the nice vegetables that usually are given as peppers, onions etc. Again, very disappointing that the quality of food can be so good, but service or dealing with issues are very poor. Suggestion: Check your delivery orders, as you will never be able to resolve any issues. Such a shame that not do person orientated, the customer does not appear to come first!

Best Kebab in Town I stick to what i know Fast quality kebabs prepared with rice and Turkish bread , burgers and much more. Service from the staff is impeccable and delivery drivers bring your food on time and with great pride. Great work 👏

Tried the Wash BBQ house tonight as I was running late. The lamb Shish was excellent. Really nice that you can choose pitta/wrap or rice and the salads were all tasty and fresh. This place was never that good when it was Hertford star, I would actually walk across town to Bosphorus (also excellent!) instead. However really pleased that I gave BBQ house a try this eve, & I’ll definitely be back!

Came back here a second time at the weekend and it was up to a high standard again. The staff are very friendly and operate quickly. The halloumi wrap is great and actually of decent quality.

First time ordering this evening; order arrived correct, swiftly and staff when phoned to query were friendly. However, unfortunately 2 of us both had lamb shish wrap and it was terrible. We persevered through a few chewy tough mouthfuls but large bits with hard fat were completely inedible. The owner has since explained they were aware of the issue which has now been rectified and look forward to trying again sometime.

Ordered chicken&lamb shish and a chicken shish wrap for take away. Food was very nice,however they didn't provide any sauce (garlic/chilli) nothing at all, salad was in a very small box. Chicken wrap was small, only had chicken inside, no sauce, no salad inside, only chicken by itself in a wrap and salad in a small box on the side. Otherwise the food was very nice. But would suggest to add sauces and in wraps to have salad inside and sauce.

We had a delivery from here via go getters, burgers were lovely really good. Knocking a star off only because the chips were not the best, the burgers made up for it though would recommend.

We’ve been using The Wash for about 6 months on a weekly basis. Great food and has been consistent with their deliveries . I can recommend the halloumi salad and chicken doner.

I’ve ordered so many times from this place since moving back to Hertford. They’ve never got my order wrong, they always go the extra mile and they’ve delivered early pretty much every time. The food is INCREDIBLE! Such excellent quality and the portion sizes are huge. Can’t find a fault with this place, would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you guys for always providing such beautiful cuisine. Visiting here for work, very hungry after a long day and sat in Hotel room anticipating a nice meal as obviously everywhere is closed at the moment! Seriously sort out your Just Eat app!!! I thought I was ordering a chicken shish kebab.. Turns out to be chicken and rice, arrived well late and was stone cold as was the "wrap". Halloumi was like rubber and I would seriously like to know what part of the Gourmet burger was Gourmet? Extremely disappointing!!!! Ended up eating some tinned soup I brought with me, thanks to Premier Inn for the use of their microwave! I notice that others have been confused with the info on your app - about time you sorted it I would say!! My son ordered off his account and is way too polite to be hinestly critical, hence my honesty!

Very nice traditional Turkish kebabs. Ordered from here a few times and the food has never been late and is always perfectly cooked. Usually kebabs are pretty same old same old but not from here, order and you won't regret it.

The staff was very rude. Ask if the place is Halal, he said "I dont know, i dont want to serve you wrong food" but JustEat says its Halal. No sign or certificate saying Halal. Overall very Disappointment the way the guy spoke to me.

This is by far the best kebab shop I’ve been to in Hertford, the classic Burger had was absolutely scrumptious they aced it ! Also as soon as I arrived at the shop the workers were polite greeted me with a warm welcome and gave me a free drink.

Dont buy from here. Delivery was cold,burnt and very small portions. Mid west kebabs are so much better. Quality food large portions
