First time I had been here in years. Food was delicious. Impressed.

Have been many times - Sunday buffet is great, and also have brought a large group a few times which is always great as it’s BYO. Food and service always excellent.

Nice Indian restaurant, nice food ,friendly staff and great atmosphere.

So yesterday was my second time coming here after visiting last week (the week before I had the lamb curry which was 10/10 so nice and clean (as in it wasn’t drowning in oil). I walked in yesterday and there were ample sofa seating so the server pankaj I asked him if I can sit on the sofa in the middle as the whole sofa row was free , pankaj said no to the middle but put me on the sofa seat right in the corner literally right in the corner! Not cool Pankaj, Not Cool (this is why service has got 4 stars - being shoved into the corner seat :( Anyhow after being told where to sit where I didn’t really want to sit (in the corner) I then ordered: mix grill for 2 Mango lassi And lamb biryani And 1 roti Alhamdulillah no complaints regarding the food it was enjoyable and tasty and the mixed grill was actually delicious 9/10 with the biryani I would give it a 7.5/10. The mango lassi I felt could be a little bit thicker but it was refreshing after a long fast. I will return back :).

Had a lovely Mothers Day family dinner last night. First experience of Mint Leaf; great food lots of taste and choice, quality of chicken excellent. I was particularly impressed our waiters were there when needed but did not hover over or rush us. Being able to take alcohol in keeps the costs down in a time when in-service alcohol is madly expensive. Really looking forward to returning 😋

Really disappointing as we had been desperate for a good curry takeaway. Meat tasted like it was several days old and had been microwaved. We ordered pilau rice but received an awful soggy brown rice. The naan was good at least. Won’t be ordering from there again.

Just another Indian restaurant catering to British people. Chicken hariyali kabab is better Biryani is like fried rice. Naan is better Overall I don’t recommend for any Indians who are craving for authentic Indian cuisine

Had a lovely evening here. The food was delicious - the lamb in my Rogan Josh was so tender! The service was great. Would definitely come here again.

I have been twice this week and both times have been above and beyond what I would expect. Fantastic service and food. All the food I had was exceptional and it just couldn’t be improved. I am thankful we are local to such a great restaurant. Thanks everyone

The standard of the food here and take away service is excellent . Consistently good flavours and intensity of flavour . Somehow they have managed to keep their prices reasonable as well despite inflation.

arrived over 40 mins after it had said it would. Had to guide the delivery driver to our house. Curry wasn’t horrible but we all ended up with upset stomachs and sickness from it and we had different dishes

Food was nice but cold. Unsurprising as we had to wait for an hour and a half before it arrived. Originally waiting time on Deliveroo said 'around 30mins'. Not the first time we've waited over an hour from Mint Leaf now. Poor service.

Food was nice but they added another two dishes to the order. When we telephoned to tell them about this they were very argumentative and rude. So we wouldn't order from here again. So bear this in mind if you order from here. They asked for the extra dishes back! Don't order from here.

Diabolical service, food order received incorrectly despite repeating back order on call. Staff and manager (Abdul) EXTREMELY rude and argumentative. Wanted us to return unwanted dishes that night to get a refund. Absolute disgusting customer service, won't be returning. Please don't use this indian the staff are vile!

We ordered food and waited for almost 2 hours. The food still hasn't arrived until we called to ask. The answer is to wait another 20 minutes.😪😪

Food was average. Dishes that aren’t supposed to be spicy were spicy, even though we ordered it all non-spicy for my wife. Don’t usually have this problem with the other Indian restaurants in town. Tarka Dall left my mouth burning, I’ve never had a spicy tarka dall before… Phoned them back and they assured me it was non-spicy and were too reluctant to remedy the order.

In the past I've bought many good meals from Mint Leaf, but two days ago bought two mains which were very poor & rice seemed to have been warmed up. However, I'll give them another try in a month or so.

Absolutely appalling. Our expected delivery time was 7.40pm (a hour after we ordered) at 7.50pm We get a text saying it’s now expected at 8.05pm. At 8.15 still no food. We call and hasn’t even left yet. They said it’ll be Another 10 minutes.. we then received our food it find dishes missing and WRONG. It was also COLD. Obviously been waiting to be delivered for a while or just forgotten about. I called and they offered to send the rest of the food again but would be another 30 minutes. I asked for a refund and got told they could only offer me a discount on my next meal. I never want to order from there again. I obviously don’t want a discount. I wanted my money back and even offered to drive my own food back to receive it. Still wasn’t possible. So I had to agree to have to WHOLE order sent again. And wait again for another 30 minutes. The customer service from the front desk to the delivery driver was just unacceptable. I’m now eating food at 9pm at night that isn’t even to a great quality. DONT EXCEPT AN ORDER IF YOU CANT DO IT.

Absolutely disgusted with the service I have just received from MintLeaf. They parked on my lawn not my driveway, which can fit at least 7 cars on it. Then had the cheek to moan that we were too far out for them to deliver between 7-9 as they are too busy ( we ordered at 5:30, delivery was made at 6:30) and was asked in future to collect or order before 7. Why accept a delivery order if you don’t want to deliver!!! Awful service.

Food is good and so tasty but there's very little meat etc in there dishes .you get a foil container with delicious sauce but about 3 or 4 small pieces of meat. If you eat in the restaurant the service is good polite very small portions . Takeaway isn't value for one etc

This is the best place for an Indian meal within Bishop Stortford and the surrounding area. The staff are amazing and we have built up a fantastic relationship with them. We have a monthly meet up here for curry, beer and chat. It's just awesome.

The service was very poor. Waited ages for someone to take our order. Main meal was nice but nobody asked if we would like a dessert or tea/coffee. In the end we had to interrupt the waiter from his cleaning to get us a drink. Was told they couldn't do tea or coffees, then changed their minds and said they could. To top it off we wanted to use the meerkat meals offer, but was told that they weren't offering it anymore. After a discussion and referring them to the website they agreed to the discount. Wont be going there again. Very disappointed

This is by far, the best Indian restaurant I've been to. The staff were nice and friendly and the food was excellent. We came here today 11th November 2018 for my belated birthday meal. We were ushered to our table, and we were expecting the usual buffet style setting, where you go and serve yourself. This was an a la carte buffet. Wow.... We ordered the starter platter. Oh my God. It was fresh, hot and crispy. The chicken was well marinated, tasty and soft. We ordered our main meal with naan and pilau rice. The main was perfect. The naga curry was delicious, the vegetables were delicious the naan was fresh, hot and soft. All in all, we enjoyed our meal. We couldn't believe what we got for the price. You need to taste the chicken, well seasoned, well cooked, juicy and perfect. We enjoyed the food and ambience. We will definitely visit again soon. I highly recommend this restaurant

Lovely food and great price but but slow service and slow to clear our dirty plates, but I'd still go back as the food alone is worth it

Best Indian in b.stortford and surrounding towns not eaten in yet but take away was spot on, fresh, non greasy and full of flavour.....

Can't fault this restaurant even if I tried, a more helpful owner I have yet to meet. Superb food and pleasant atmosphere.

A delicious range of Indian dishes maximising taste. We are vegan and they were easily able to offer the food we wanted. Rather eclectic soundtrack... not the usual Indian Restaurant music, more like Fatboy Slim meets Bollywood! A well deserved 5 stars.
