Lovely little cafe with a cute deli counter, good gifts, planting and outside seating. Perfect for brunch before exploring dorney House or dorney lake

They were very reluctance to swap ham with fish fingers in a ham egg and chips meal as they said they were busy. They weren’t busy..... there was no queue and only 20% tables occupied.. very unhelpful.

I would have never thought about visiting this place if not for a friend's wedding. Quite peaceful I should say and Cowdray Castle and Cowdray Park is nearby for a little stroll.

We popped here for lunch today ,it’s very noisy as there are no soft furnishings ( unless dog area)to absorb any noise. Had. A sandwich £6.75 for two little sandwiches , awful Tortilla crisps and a small pot of coleslaw but no salad to eat it with . Far far to expensive, the price needs to come done or more than two little sandwiches need to be served . Will not eat here again .

I took my mother here for lunch and I was really disappointed, we ordered a soup and half a sandwich, it was mushroom soup, when we tasted it it was like it was made with cream and the cream had split, mum said it looked like Horlicks with bits in. My half sandwich was ok but mums was literally 3 chunks of cheese plonked in a slice of bread with vinegary tasting chutney. It was very busy in there to be fair, but I thought it was ott price wise for a garden centre, Belgium bun £3.95 ...I didn’t purchase one. Cutlery didn’t look clean and jugs of water didn’t either. It was lovely last time we visited and I was really disappointed.

Good range of perennials, more interesting than the average garden centre. Not the cheapest but the plants are big and heathy and look good as soon as they go in, so worth it.

I had been a regular customer for several years until the place started going considerably downhill a few years ago, but I decided to come back recently having heard from friends that there was new management now in charge, but sadly I was not impressed, cafe staff are still as rude and offhand, food and drink more overpriced than I remember, shop is full of expensive tat, used to be so much better than this, the place may have had a serious facelift, but they still need a personality transplant! Which is a shame, because it could be so much better if they made some effort. The Pineapple or The Palmers Arms just down the road are better options.

I went here today for the umpteenth time but the first time since it has been extended . Whilst the cakes are still ok and I assume the food would be to . But the customer service is very much lacking . We felt like we were a nuisance more than a customer, we actually felt quite awkward . A hot coffee was served in a glass, the same glass you get tap water in , it was to hot to hold . Really disappointing, the staff seemed very false and all in all it was not a pleasurable visit . A shame really as we are local and would of gone in more often . Sadly I doubt I will be back and certainly will not recommend other people going .

We have been here many times and have never been disappointed . The staff are very good and very efficient. Over time it has become very busy as it has continued to improve its range and service. A really great place for lunch, breakfast or just coffee and cake

A well kept and quite interesting walled garden. At this time of the year some of the plants were past their best. However, one could imagine in Victorian Times what was grown in it for the Big house.

We have been here quite a lot for lunch which we have always enjoyed, this visit was for breakfast. It is a lovely setting however let down by for hygiene practices in the kitchen.Food being dished up for breakfast was put on the plates by the chef using his hands. We could see this quite clearly through the opening. He went from touching smoked salmon, tomatoes, bacon, sausages and then touching vegetarian sausages by hand. There was queue so this could be seen for a while.

This place is near enough to cycle, or Ben walk to. Gets very busy, but you can usually find a table in the garden on a nice day. There's a small play area for the children, and toilets available (clean) if you are out for the day. Lovely for a soup and sandwich lunch or for afternoon tea. Great place if you want to treat yourself on a sunny day and as a bonus there is an interesting shop and garden centre to browse in - with very knowledgeable people on hand to help select plants.

A beautiful setting within a walled garden surrounded by colourful plants.....should be a good start.Sadly that was the end of the positive experience. The food is overpriced and for ' granary' read sliced wholemeal and stale. Imaginative sandwich menu poorly executed decorated with sloppy lettuce. Our order was lost on a quiet day and we waited over an hour for a very poor excuse for a fresh sandwich. The cakes looked dry and and very plain, not tempting in any way. On leaving we mentioned that we had experienced a very poor lunch and was told that the manager would call, having left contact details we are still waiting for that call.

It isn't gastronomy, but it is freshly prepared and great value. The walled garden centre at Dorney has been a favorite place to cycle to from our home in Windsor. Just cross the river to Eton and the riverside cycle path takes you most of the way there. The 'Country Kitchen Cafe' itself is spacious, clean, friendly and has good value lunches. The old walled garden is slowly being transformed into a lovely example of what good gardening can achieve. Dont miss the chickens that live in one corner of the garden.

The Walled Garden Centre and its coffee shop lies within the grounds of the outstanding Dorney Court - one of the nation's finest manor houses ... a Grade 1 listed building of considerable architectural and historical interest. Surrounded by delightful gardens, it is deemed to be an "oasis of living history". And so, a stunning setting for the WALLED GARDEN CENTRE.
