Excellent food quality. But expensive for amount served. Great service, friendly staff, nice location. The restaurant is a new building and immaculately clean.

Great place in every respect but you never know if or when it is open. Just because their website says they are open on certain days and times this is not necessarily correct. I have already been disappointed twice this month so because of this 2 days ago I telephoned The Walled Garden to be told they are open today Saturday. We arrived this morning to find they are closed. Frustrating…..

We enjoyed a lovely relaxed Father's Day Lunch in the Walled Garden Cafe with 3 children. Staff were very friendly, food was fresh and local, childrens portions were generous. The menu wasn't vast but there is still something for everyone. Wonderful setting. Will definitely return.

Lovely location and busy - however the menu now is very limited which is disappointing. I had the pulled pork panini which was also very disappointing- the filling was so thin virtually non existent-and tasted of nothing like pulled pork - meat paste consistency. Basically you are eating bread. What a shame that they can’t do better, I can see that the tea and cake etc go well so stick with that if you don’t want to spend hard earned money on over rated and poor quality food. Harsh but true sadly. The staff are lovely though.

I found this hidden gem by mistake and have returned many times. What a unique café based in a large yurt within a stunning walled garden full of beautiful plants and flowers. Great for kids, dog friendly and just a beautiful tranquil place to sit and chat. The staff are lovely, the coffee is great and the fresh home made cakes are superb. The burgers are delicious too. Highly recommend this place.

The experience started very well with a lovely female staff member who said on the phone that they could surely "rustle something up" even if we were late arriving. In the end we arrived around 8:30pm to go to a wedding at Crockwell Farm the next day. Claudio welcomed us warmly and the chef 👩🍳 (owner as well we believe?) prepared a lovely dinner even though it was probably past their serving time. Our room was compact but had everything needed. A bit more shelf space or a chair and some hangers would have been handy; but with an old coaching inn there is only so much that can be done! For the same reason, the rooms on the upper floor are reached by narrow stairs - tall individuals (and those having consumed a few beverages)beware! Breakfast was continental with some extras, all self service. We had a lot of choices but obviously there are limitations. The Earl Grey tea was very nice, the Cafetiere coffee less so. But within the facilities is was altogether a well thought out spread. Overall we would certainly recommend and will return if in the area.

Visited for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed, best Sunday roast I have had for a very long time! The normal menu looks to die for and can’t wait to visit to try out. Service was amazing! Well done Dan & Beth and the Team

Went here as normally Marstons pubs are good but very disappointed. Think it is just a cheap copy of a Marstons pub with only one person working trying to cover every role! Doesn’t accept blue light card despite Marstons chain saying they do take it! Now realise why it was empty when we arrived. Everyone please avoid if you can.
