We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Vine. We were a large party and staff were so accommodating for us. The food was great and came out in good time and the kids loved using the outside space too. We'll be back!

THE PEOPLE WHO RUN THIS PUB USED TO RUN A PUB IN BLOXHAM AND NEVER PAID THEIR STAFF CORRECTLY AND LEFT THEM WITHOUT NUMEROUS MONTHS WORTH OF WAGES, LEAVING PEOPLE WITHOUT MONEY THEY NEED TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES WHILE THEY WERE LIVING IT LARGE! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND VILE PEOPLE

Scenic location with a big garden and interior high on the north Hampshire hills. Recently reopened, friendly staff. My visit was a lunch stop having arrived on 2 wheels through beautiful cycling country.

Great, shame it's closing. Make certain to visit when it reopens.

This is a very nice country pub set in the Hannington village. Nice food and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Dog friendly.

Good lunch venue during a walk on the Hampshire Downs. Due to close in February

We ate here as a family. Two party members have gluten, lactose and dairy intolerance. The vine attended to us all so that we could have a great dining experience. Well done the Vine.

Went for a nice quiet pint, only to find a load of kids running around screaming. No sign of any parents, and no interest by any of the pub staff to try and find the parents.

Fab garden, food, staff. After finding this lovely pub we will definitely be back.

Lovely place in the middle of nowhere. Very clean toilets and bar area. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Will come back. ❤️

Roast dinner was really really good! However only thing preventing a 5 star is that the service was very slow and the conservatory area was very hot with no fans.

Popped in for a quick lunchtime drink and something to eat. Couldn't decide on the ham or cheese ploughman's until the barman said we can do a bit of both! Great friendly service in a nice relaxed atmosphere. A good old fashioned country pub, nothing is too much trouble and the staff are actually pleased to see you, unlike other pubs nearby.

Always the most pleasurable place to visit after a long walk in Hannington. Staff very welcoming and friendly, food great price and very tasty and we love all the vegan options available. Cosy in winter and a lovely outdoor area for families in the summer. Highly recommend! If we lived closer we'd be in there all the time. Great find!

What a lovely pub, in an amazing setting, probably the highest pub in Hampshire. The staff are delightful and very helpful. They have a good range of beers, wines and spirits, and an excellent menu. The portions are particularly satisfying, although be specific what you order, as we got a pork pie on a veggie dish ! However it didnt go to waste 😂

Service & food were great. Bar staff very friendly and nothing to much trouble. Food was a great price, however like every pub these days beer was £5,90 a pint. Will visit again, as dog friendly and a lovely pub.

Lovely pub, great food and friendly staff

We had a delicious game pie as a takeaway last night. During 2020 they provided a well-managed Covid-safe environment when the were allowed to remain open, and great meals by takeaway when they had to close the doors. #supportyourlocalpub Update July 2022 - another homemade pie which was lovely. Enjoyed sitting in their large garden, with the benefit of shade from their large gazebo.

Nice little pub in a beautiful village. The food wasn't great, but the atmosphere was nice and the staff were really friendly, polite, and attentive. The pub is wheelchair accessible, has good facilities, and offers plenty of outdoor space with a climbing frame, slide, and swing to let the kids loose.

Could be a standout pub as its location makes it well suited to capturing a gastro pub clientele, the tables were busy having Sunday lunch but it was understaffed so bar service was slow and only two cask beers (Doom and New Speckled Hen). Exterior shows the impact of loss of trade during covid and I hope it is able to recover. Plenty of garden space and tables with a small tasteful play area so good for families.

Went to The Vine at Hannington 5th March 2022 for our daughters 14th birthday, We have a sen child and from the moment we got there he wasn't having it and had a little wobble. The staff was amazing as interacted with him and allowed him to speak what can take a while for him to get what he means out. The food was amazing and during the meal my son wanted another drink and decided he was going to go and order from the bar, again the staff was amazing and patient. Just amazing staff and place will be coming again.

Going out for Sunday lunch is getting expensive, but we was very please with the Sunday roast, we had the lamb, although a little tuff in places, but you get that with most meats from time to time, the beer was good and so was the price at £14, will definitely go back.

Great pup to go on walks from, we went on Christmas Eve and the staff were so helpful and friendly even right at the end of the Christmas period! There is also plenty of outdoor seating if needed so I’d really recommend it.

Vine of Hannington were the tops. We had a Christmas celebration for 25 people and it went flawlessly. Absolutely brilliant service.

Perfect halfway point for rehydration on our circular walk from White Hill. Friendly staff and nicely conditioned ale.

Always a warm welcome. Traditional food with good choices for Veggies and Vegans, a nice range of beers. The garden is large and has plenty of seating, lots of it undercover. Everything is clean and well organized, all in a peaceful village setting.

I'd say one of the best burgers I've had in the Hampshire area. Great selection of beverages, ideally located in Hannington with an amazing garden and stunning countryside views. Nice little play area for children, definitely recommend paying them a visit.

We went here for a birthday party. It was very busy so service was slow. Took a while to get our drinks, and longer to get our food. Several orders came wrong and had to re ask for drinks that didn't arrive. As it was busy can forgive some things. Food was served but now cutlery to eat with so food was cold. Perhaps cutlery could have come before the food was served 🤔. As I said it was busy so somethings can be forgiven.

Stopped off for a drink and snacks part way around a country walk. It was chucking it down but staff made sure we had somewhere to sit. Staff really friendly and helpful, waiting on everyone efficiently despite the pouring rain. We had the brie and bacon baguette and it was delicious and really fresh. We will definitely return and try more from the menu.
