As we often go the vine we are treated well and the food is very good

Lovely place, lovely food! I enjoy going there. Prices are friendly unlike the competition in Hornchurch with the same surname as reggae singer Bob M……….! Food is better here as well. Staff get to know the customers and always add a personal touch. They know my order as soon as they hear my voice on the phone!

My wife and I had lovely lunches, Hunters Chicken and the tastiest Lasagne I have had for ages. My wife likes her tea in a certain way and the staff couldn't do enough to accommodate her, and the coffee was delicious too. We haven't been to Romford for a while and The Vine was a breathe of fresh air. I highly recommend you give it a try. Thanks to all the staff and the friendly chef.

Amazing place; first time here; it feels like home; I came on a good day after yesterday football match. I ordered a salmon; it was cooked to perfection; I could really taste the Smokey/grilled taste on the top; which went well with the soft inside. I’m going to be honest the I was surprised about the sweet potatoes fries; as I thought I was gonna be given sweet potatoes mash and my god. I loveeee the fries; it was such a nice touch to meal. I can’t believe my eyes… today was 10/10 will definitely comeback!!!

Visited this cafe today and although the lady who served us was kind we was never asked if we would like another drink or a dessert (which we did) and when paying and this was mentioned my wife was rudely asked "why didn't you call over" totally unprofessional

Fish and chips were freshly fried and salmon and sweet potato fried. We ate every morsel

Have been in a couple of times and this time didn't think the food was as nice. The tiny naan served with curry, no mango chutney what a let down and don't know what they'd put on the chicken for the kebab, not keen. There was some kind of argument with raised voices in the open kitchen area think most of the place could hear it. I was sitting reading the reviews whilst waiting and saw a comment about being overcharged, so I checked what my bill should be. Yep, sure enough was overcharged and when I challenged was met with hostility. A half hearted rude apology given when my total was the correct one.

Got the completely wrong breakfast & the server insisted it’s what I ordered. The breakfast I did receive was average at best.

Went for breakfast with family before shopping. Had a full English and it was pretty good, nicely presented and well cooked. The menu was varied and had some different items on it. The white coffee I had was really good not the usual instant coffee and milk type cafe breakfast coffee. The service was also friendly and prompt, would go back again.

Popped in on Sunday 13th of August for the all day breakfast, could not fault it, service was great, food really good and a fair price, will definitely pop in again next time I am in Romford

First time visit. We usually go to another cafe for breakfast on the weekend but decided to try this one and glad we did. I wish I had taken a photo of my plate to post on my review! I had a Veggie pancake breakfast and my partner had the Full Royal. The presentation was beautiful, the ingredients were fresh. The staff were friendly. Nothing to complain about! It was really nice! We will definitely be back!

Google please put these guys on the map...they deserve it 100%,food had flavour,texture and absolutely fantastic...the vine is the only place I've visited that served Cumberland sausage,and I go to different cafes every Saturday. They are very passionate about their meal,I mean I had to order lunch because I noticed I could not fault any of their meal nor drink....to the kitchen,I duff my hat!! Please keep these standards yall r amazing. About the price? After eating such meal I promise I wasn't worried about how much I was paying,tho their prices are alright.

Went here with my nan for the first time today. Staff were pleasant. Reasonably priced and the place was packed out. This shows how nice it is. I had a chicken shish and rice. Which was cooked well. All the other food coming out looked really nice too. We will be back soon.

This is a great little gem of a cafe it is moderately priced, staff are very helpful, a wide variety of food on menu. I ordered the pancakes which came with berries, maple syrup and ice cream, cooked well with a hood portion of everything. The atmosphere is lively for a cafe as it is not too bright making it more comfortable.

I waited at least 5 minutes before the menu was tossed I front of me, another 5 minutes the waitress served 2 ladies who came in after me. She went back to the kitchen then came back past me to a group of ladies near the door then back past me to the kitchen. I eventually got up and left 🤬🤬🤬

If you like a mug with a tea bag in it and milk already added. Then this place is for you. Unfortunately its meant to be a restaurant not a road side food van. Very disappointed in how it was served.

Went a few weeks ago to Try the eggs royal with the hollandaise sauce. Was a little disappointed. But I thought I'd give it another go before I leave a review. I went again on 25th March 2022 at 10:20am to give them another go before I review. I have to say the staff were very attentive, but I got charged for the free coffee this time, and the hollandaise sauce was non existence again, and for the second time it had a very thick skin to it. My 'Smashed' avocado was not smashed but served whole, again and it was raw, this spoilt the experience. However, the ambiance was nice, but the food was a bit disappointing I'm sorry to say. I do hope it gets better as I do like the staff even thought they charged me for the free coffee 😊. If you want to try the dish you need to get there before 11am.

I woke up feeling like a breakfast with pancakes so searched and found this place! Omg This breakfast was absolutely fabulous I got an American breakfast! Just what my taste buds needed! Staff on phone so polite and lady that brought to my car! Service is 10/10 I’ll defo recommend and I’ll be back 😍

The quality of the food and atmosphere is really impressive! I usually go for the American pancake breakfast as it never disappoints and the presentation is my absolute favourite! Definitely my go to in Romford and would highly recommend to everyone to enjoy a pleasant and relaxed meal.

Excellent food, second time we came. karen provided excellent service, catered for our needs they used a separate pan as I requested if eggs could be cooked separate from where they cook bacon and sausages and they were excellent. Toast were on the house, great atmosphere, brilliant customer services, all very friendly and clean. Hubby and I will be coming again. Very good pricing strategy.

I come here regularly for business. I have known the owner for over 20 years. The staff are all lovely and is very much like coming to see friends every time I come in here. They’ve recently done a refurbishment. It’s has great decor , you feel like you’re abroad! A really pleasant atmosphere . Highly recommend to come with friends or on your own!

A very busy and vibrant place! Overall the food was of good standard and customer service satisfactory.

There are quite a few places to eat around Romford Town centre but this is one of the best. Essentially this is a cafe offering the usual cafe food but this place stands out from the rest for me because they used Heinz beans, Frankfurters and branded condiments. I never understand why some cafes used cheap baked beans when beans are as cheap as it is. I know these are very minor things but it's the attention to details and they make the food better than the other places around here. I will be coming back to try out the other offerings and I recommend that you do too when you're in Romford looking for a decent bite to eat!
