Discovered this cafe as I was visiting someone in area. The food was freshly made and tasted nice. I had the Canadian Steak with chips and drink. Prices were cheap compared to others on high street. I waited about 10 minutes for the food however the person behind the counter said that people normally phone beforehand and pick the order so saves not waiting for the food. The staff there were friendly and they said that they had only taken over recently. The cafe was clean and the food was superb.

A late lunch for my son. He had a chip bap with red salt....his words were "That is lovely". I wasn't planning on eating, but was tempted by staff recommendation of mac 'n' cheese. It was delicious.... And at half price....a great deal!!! Well done to the chef!!

Gorgeous chatty little nook. Best toasted bacon and egg sandwich ever, topped off with a lovely hot cup of tea. So nice to have gluten free toast available. 😋

This was my first visit to The Bower and I was really impressed. The food was great, the staff lovely, and my dog was made welcome too.
