Just disgusting! Luke warm coffee , mushy bananas in fruit salad, dirty cutlery (swopped a number of times), scrambled egg like cold rubber, toast cold - had to ask for butter! Hash brown dripping in grease. Just horrid, almost inedible! DO NOT waste your money!

Visited here before and after going for a meal in a restaurant close by. Drinks were a fair price and decent outside seating at the back. Staff not over friendly but maybe due to the customers they must have to deal with. Served our needs on the evening but not in any rush to return.

Another great day at this pub. The staff are great, the customers are mostly illiterate. Apparently standing at the bar and doing a crossword is fine even if other people can't get served. Not being able to speak a coherent sentence without using the 'F' word (at least ten times) is fine. Supporting Trump and The Tories is fine (even though most of you can't read)! The customers are mostly the scum of the earth, how the staff put up with it I will never know!

Been going here for a while now and it never disappoints! Had a steak for dinner, only 10 quid and it melted in my mouth. Service is quick and staff are very friendly and always making banter. I don't understand the reviews saying it's unclean... I always see staff cleaning tables and any empty glass on my table is taken away within minutes. Don't judge off the bad experiences!

I have been visiting the pub for several years on a fairly regular basis. Everything about the place has continually gone down hill. The current management are not friendly. The food is of poor quality. The place is old and dirty. Toilet are poor. It needs a total overhaul and redesign in my opinion. There are far better pubs in the area. The only reason the place is still running is because the beer is cheap, if the taps are working.

I can’t fathom how this place exists ? When does this pub ever get cleaned ? Tables unwashed and sticky , bar area looks like it’s never seen a duster . Brass pump area particular with a lovely lair off dust. Just what you need when your pulling a pint. Waitress tried palm me off with a poor pulled pint of Guinness. I refused but apparently the manager thought this was acceptable? In Ireland you be wearing it if you pulled that crap! Then let’s get to the food , my guts are telling me why ?? Poor quality frozen tasteless crap. Left half of it and walked out without hesitation. Wetherspoons what’s going on ? Your getting as bad as Greene king pubs in the area and I refuse eat their crap either. Such a shame as it’s the only boozer in the area. I’ve tried here a couple times and every time I say never again. Off now to hopefully remove the crap I’ve ingested and try soothe my guts back to health. Unless things change avoid like the place the plague. Shameful

Another awful afternoon at this pub. Staff really nice (Nikki , Jade and Shareen) although there doesn't seem to be any leadership since Eric left. Usual loud mouthed fat idiot mouthing off (I know who he is), should be barred for life. Apart from that everything pretty much the same as normal.

We arrived at 12.10pm, ordered our food and waited for 40 mins before speaking to a member of staff of to find out where our food was. We were told that the chef had gone on his lunch break (during lunch time?!) and not bothered to cook our food. When walking through the pub we noticed that many tables had food or empty plates, so not sure how true that was. We then had to stand and wait for the servers to get our food before having to ask them to get it because they were standing around doing nothing. We then ended up being late getting back to work. Terrible service.

This has to be one of the worst pubs in London. The staff are nice (if you are lucky enough to find anybody behind the bar!) The customers are the scum of the earth. If you want to drink in a pub where nobody can speak a sentence without using the 'F' word about 20 times then come here. If you have more than 1 brain cell then I would suggest going somewhere else!

We don't visit Rayner's Lane very often but we have lived in & around this area ( not for many decades , though ) Now that the dominant pub for many year's has gone , at least in it's incarnation as a pub ( although the building survives ) , if you want a drink around here you have a few bars to choose from or The Village Inn. A Wetherspoons is , well , a Wetherspoons although most try to reflect something of the area or history on which they stand, This one is reasonably large with the floorspace on 2 levels. Coming in off the street you have a large , pretty much Square seating area with an L - shaped bar creating a narrower area to one side of it as you pass through to a lower level containing a long , narrow seating area. There is a welcome bonus of a pleasant garden to the rear. The walls are hung with old photos of the local area. Usual fruit machines scattered about. One of the things I really like about Wetherspoon's is that they are always nice & warm inside - something that cannot be said about many pubs. None of this rubbish about pinning the doors open - who wants to drink cold lager in a chilly breeze? Service was prompt , tables clean , drinks in good order & the toilets were modern & clean. Enjoyed our visit & will certainly visit again.

Asked for a pint of Guinness and a worker came out ( a women ) and she dropped aload of the pint before i got it and when i got it it was dripping all over the sides and when i question her her reply was " you ordered in the beer garden so this is what you get, do you want the pint or not " and i asked for the manager and she told me she was the manager. " i own the place " apparently. Customer service in this place is brutal. 14.06.21 16:56

Well, on a lazy Sunday morning to get such a great welcome from Zed and Precious, was the best way to start my day. They are 100% focused and offer amazing customer service. The banter between them and regulars really makes me want to become a regular too. I ordered a large breakfast, which was freshly cooked, arrived hot (as you’d expect) and tasted very good. The place was kept really clean and service offered was excellent. All in all a great experience and I’ll be back for sure. Big shout out to Precious, Zed and the entire team for making this a visit to remember for all the right reasons. A breath of fresh air in such trying times.

Went for breakfast. I wanted orange juice, but was told "There's not a lot left" even though I could see 5, at least, tall cartons in the fridge behind the bar. This was like 9 in the morning? Unbelievable. I also ordered 'eggs royale', but for some reason I wasn't able to have poached eggs and had to have fried eggs on top of smoked salmon. Now, the most amateur chef knows that no way are eggs royale served in this manner and is a total no no. It should never happen. Needless to say I will not be returning. I have never experienced anything like it - ever. The only good thing about it is, I wasn't paying, nor would I pay if I was!

The nearby Rayners Lane Estate has become a "dumping ground" for problem families and this pub seems to have gone downhill in line with it. If you enjoy mixing with the sort of people who can"t manage a sentence without including the 'f word", then come here, otherwise give it a miss and go instead to Wetherspoons at Ruislip manor where, though slightly more expensive, you will get an all round better experience.

After a long absence, started going regularly in last couple of months and found it a pleasant surprise. Locals are a nicely varied bunch and, with no blaring constant 'sports' channel on TV it presents a good change on many of the other local pubs. Found the staff to be friendly and informal and willing to meet most reasonable requests. Food is nice and wholesome (i.e. no 'fancy' chef stuff) and reasonably priced. Also, for an urban pub, the garden is surprisingly green and colorful!Lastly, a final word - Kevin, one of the staff, is friendly and always fun to chat to.

Food lift not working. Have empty glasses being taken from customer tables while customers have walked away for a while and staff smiling when you complain about it; staff not concerened at all. Toilets always broken or leaking. New Area Manager has no interest in customer suggestions even though she is there almost every other day. The new manager is trying her best but her efforts seem wasted. More and more people are now drinking at other venues. New water solution is not Health and Safety at all. See photo.

Nice pub. It's a real shame the staff treat the locals bad. It's as if they are doing the locals a favour by serving them. Lack of staff during peak times. Some one needs to look at the staffing. Sometimes there's only one person serving and the queue is building. Bottle beers are warm most of the time, even though they have a fridge at the back but bottle beers are never kept in them. Area manager has been told about this and it did make a difference but now there's a new area manager so back to normal. The food is nice so no complaints about that. Hopefully new manager will change things. Am still going there but not as often. Spirits are still good value but they have increased twice already this year so becoming expensive to drink every day.

It was more synchronicity than accident that the first Wetherspoons emerged from the first year of Thatcher: the rise of this business model walked hand in hand with the gradual erosion of the Working Men’s Club, where subsidised beer was part of the overall energy of what was on offer. Back in the day, men would sit so very loyally in these institutions, often finishing a shift, going straight there to either nurse beer or watch what entertainment on offer. It wasn’t urban myth that women of the seventies and eighties marriages would walk to these clubs and serve their men the dinner there, or come in for a row. The proverbial stay at home wife still exists, though today a far different creature, being kept happy with holidays, cars and home furnishings. This bar has an ignored tourist base: all Wetherspoons now, regardless of geography should be aware of the Arbnb market. But, like all chains, it has no hope of dealing with this energy, preferring instead to deal with the constraints of blanket brand approach. Here, moments away from the most exclusive boy’s school in the country exists a dogged Trinity: heavily pierced and tattooed staff with relationship interconnectivity with staff elsewhere in Harrow bars, gossip with customers that are not too happily married. 2 fiercely compromised gentlemen of note need really badly to hold court: one a compulsive gambler and self appointed Town Cryer/Snitch, the other a coke addict, needing cheap boooze and proximity to a nearby club that facilitates more time away from the missus. Both are guilty of rumour spreading to qualify for Anglo Saxon Village punishment. Further back from the seventies, gossips, snitches and muck spreaders were Cukked: bathed in excrement and shamed. The third aspect to this Trinity is the barring policy of Spoons. Here the really nasty alternative life of a post grad is eased with the power to barr. The town itself has the barring from this bar as a kind of weird Badge of Honor. Everyone who has it in them to give money to this institution has been barred at one time or another. Note that it took a huge amount of effort to have Greene King barr a very irritating individual claiming to be the cousin of Tim Martin. His very best friend sits here whilst others remain barred. Another visit is due. The poor social media (almost), says it all. Wetherspoons has it’s critics but remains a great brand. Reliability, social cohesion and a sense of history are it’s strengths. BUT, it has a tendency to be one thing in the centre of things and another in the suburbs and regions. It need not be so. A visit to The Beaten Docket in Cricklewood is where a traveller will find groups of guys playing cards, backgammon, enjoying each other without a whiff of a chance of one of them stabbing the backs of the league. Centrally located Spoons are a boon. If thinking that this bar represents brand or locale it serves, think again, go instead to the Three Wishes in Pinner or the Spoons in Baker St.
