Costa Coffee in Harrow

AmaIng 1st visit as we Walked thru the door the gentlemen was so friendly. Very good welcoming to a eaater monday after a pilates class. Really cheered us up and made such a diff to our morning. Beautiful soul he was pls thank him. Was about 1130am. He even drew a lovely smile on my cup.

Just from a health and safety point of view, having to climb over boxes of food and drink to get into the toilet wasn’t particularly nice. The toilet was filthy, with no toilet paper. The bowl was covered in body hair and human waste, and the floor was puddled with water. Having the food products you’re trying to sell in boxes on the floor directly outside such a hazard didn’t incentivise me to buy anything, so I ended up leaving without a coffee. The cafe area was equally filthy, with people moving used cups and plates to be able to use tables. It just feels like perhaps the team were understaffed and they didn’t have enough time to put a delivery away and tidy up- was surprising to see only two members of staff on a busy afternoon.

Honestly, sometimes it’s just having great staff can make all the difference to one’s experience. Just a standard costa, but the lovely baristas made this visit so much fun. They were fun, friendly and happy to be doing what they were doing! This is a really rare experience, so thank you to the amazing staff at this store for just Brightening up my day with your great attitude towards customers and the service you offer. Costa should give these people a raise or an award or something.

I went there today at around 10:45 am 22 of June 2023 I was very well received by Kachana and her colleague Katrina from Greece. Both were so amazing and helpful. The coffee was so good done by Kachana. Katrina is very kind and always smiling and they both go out of there way to take care of there customers Can’t praise them Enough. Great place to visit the costa coffee in Hatch end 10/10 out of 10 for both of them Aftab Ebrahim

I grab a coffee here everyday on my way to work. Service is quick, coffee is good, all you could ask for.

Thought trying this Costa,it's first and last time,customer service is very bad, very very slow service, I was waiting more then 10min for double expreso, this is happened because off staff working long time in the some place.

Ordered a few coffees, croissants and other pastries and had my order double checked to make sure it was all correct. Only gripe was that a few coffees were warm rather than hot, but tasted lovely. Seating was available and clean so we enjoyed our drinks and delicious pastries inside. We weren’t rushed to clear the table. Staff were very pleasant and service was fast and orders were accurate. Nice, cosy atmosphere in the store. Would return again.

If you ask for a coffee , expect to get hot milk .the staff doesn't know how to make one

Yesterday 10/09 I have been with my daughter at Costa cafè at Hatch end, we have been served by Anna, her service was superb, she advice us on which pastry to take (deliciously fresh and warm) she placed the cups in a lovely way on the tray and allow my daughter double serving of cocoa on her milk, she was friendly and corteous, I notice she was extra working as she was completely alone serving all customers, from taking order, payment and serving, she kept smiling to everyone and her service was outstanding, on the back of the bar there was her colleague who was working slowly on something, when there were lots of customers Anna asked for help, but her collegue told her she was busy doing online orders, she did not seem busy, actually she seemed doing things extra slowly, so Anna suddendly had to deal with a long queue of people abou 6/7 at once, she tried to please everyone, she took the orders and payments and ask them to wait to be served, she was extra fast, but she did need help, so she asked again her colleague which finally she agree to help, a man who was waiting his order lost his temperament ans shouted in an offesive way to Anna, poor Anna told him her collegue was dealing with his order, the man did not accept her explanation and went on shouting in extremely rude way to Anna, in all this her collegue kept silent, while she should have confirmed to that man, she had on board his order, i believe as Anna is very fast and good at making things, while her collegue very slow, this man felt left behind by the behaviour of Anna's collegue, but took forward a complaint on Anna who took his order on a first place. I feel Anna was victimized and treated with unfairness, she should have more help and support by her colleague. I hope the managment of Costa cafè will appreciate her hard work and appreciate her problem solving good attitude, as she tried her best to calm down the gentleman, also i hope they will notice her superb customer service, everyone else was happy!!

Lovely waitress very well mannered only problem the manager should change to meau prices I went to buy at sandwich and the price had been changed with no notice

The two girls serving were polite and friendly. They confirmed my order to check it was correct and provided it quickly. They also checked that we were satisfied with our order afterwards . Would definitely recommend for the good service.

Thought I'd try one of Costa's new drinks for the summer and went for the caramel & almond iced velvet latte. It tasted okay but nothing special. I feel like the summer drinks Costa brings out, they always seem to miss the mark. The coolers are terrible, they just consist of fruit juice and some crushed ice. With this iced velvet latte, the barista didn't stir or shake the liquid so most of the flavour was at the bottom. Most of their drinks are overrated and it seems all they add are syrups mixed in which gives the flavour of caramel or almonds. I can't believe they price these drinks at £4 for a medium sized cup. You get nothing and the price is extortionate. They should have large sizes and the price for them should be at the £4 mark. It's crazy

I go to a lot of costa and this is by far the worse. The manager is rude (more keen to speak to her friends in the store ) said could print a receipt then after I asked twice did. Opened at 9am but boxes everywhere and hasn’t even bothered to put the seats outside. The pastry has been left over night and new ones are in the box. Very bad run store with no direction

Have been a few times, Each time they are extremely slow even with collection orders, poor customer service and the air conditioning smells of mould when you walk in

i popped into costa this afternoon with my son. the staff were so helpful, approachable and friendly. so nice having a local costa. will definitely be going back. thank you for your friendly service xx

Would give it no stars if I could. Worst Costa anywhere! Rude staff who have no people's stills and don't know how to serve. Coffee didn't taste like coffee at all. Never again!

Arrived here at Costa Hatch end to meet up with friends for a ride! Left the bike outside and walked inside! Before I manage to take my gloves out! Manager asked me to move the bike because my bike leaning on the glass can break it!!! Suggestion for improvement of your service…. If no one is in an immediate danger, let people in, take their order and let them know that you had an accident ( as claimed by the staff) and appreciate if bike is move somewhere more suitable. Something for @Costa training and marketing to work on…..

There is one female staff member who is always unhelpful when you ask for a cardboard holder for coffee, not sure what here problem is. Even gets tetchy if you ask for an empty cup to keep coffee warm and to prevent burning your hand. Very strange customer service ( and there is never a good supply of biscotti every time I go- the staff don't even know what it is half the time)

First time at this Costa. Nice and not busy at my time of visit. 2 very professional and friendlly staff Isha and Kanchana (apologies if spelt wrong) remained calm with very awkward customers. Unfortunately as this is Hatch End some customers think they are above everyone else! Isha and Kanchana deserve a raise or promotion! Small gestures and acts like this show the measure of someone's work ethic. Well done 👍

Possibly the dirtiest Costa coffee shop on the planet. Even the outside area is filthy. Windows possibly not been cleaned in months. Staff are rude and lazy. Saw them refuse service to elderly man because he didn’t have a phone to track and trace. Couldn’t be bothered to take his name/ address! Awful place.

popped in for a coffee with boys. They had hot chocs. Staff made their drinks and entertained their requests. The youngest accidently spilled his, the staff immediately sorted the spillage and even gave him a replacement drink on the house.

This is my secind visit to this Costa and the service there is very rude.You get scared to go and ask for some sugar or other services.The people working there reallt need some custimer service training.It s not like you are asking for a favour you are paying for this.

Very rude serving here.The lady in charge there,probably the manager,was very rude.This is my second visit here and the customer skills she is displaying are appaling .You are afraid to go and ask for some sugar and other extra services.Not only me,but other people have been treated the same while serving my coffee.She definitely needs some custimer service training.It s really unpleasant.

the older woman manager was extremely rude and impatient. she went out of her breath when I asked to add some cold water to my tea - instead she wanted to add ice cubes - which I didn’t want. I saw terrible comments about her attitude below - I am glad I am not alone finding her rude and unprofessional.

Small but very friendly. Enjoyed the banter. Hot chocolate was very lush. Blueberry muffin had lots of jammy blueberry filling.

I had a meeting here with two colleagues. Around three drinks came to 8 pounds including a coffee, hot chocolate and fruit tea. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive so no issues there. To be honest, I think there are many signs of wear and tear. The chairs were looking grubby like they needed a deep clean. Our table had not been wiped from the previous guests so it was saturated with crumbs. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, with a rotten odour possibly drains and really it needs management to go in and improve the basics, in my humble opinion. This is my reason for only average, but related to the staff I would have awarded four stars without a doubt.

Love the iced tea. Nice and cool ... just what you need for this weather. Members of staff were friendly and courteous. They recommended the ice tea and it tasted really good. I had a breakfast wrap and that was good too. Very filling. The wrap was grilled for me and cut in half so it was easy to handle. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was purely because of the environment. While I am not a recycling fanatic (although I should be) I realised that only the straw was made of paper, the container for my drink was made of plastic. The plastic they said was recyclable but they need to use less plastic. Costa you guys are amazing with your beverages but please think about the earth and cut down on plastic.

I was on a quick drink Get together with a friend . Neither of us drink coffee so we opted for a fruit cold crushed ice thing. I don’t forget what it was called. One was with mango and was tasty and the other with watermelon was pathetically poor . The staff members were very pleasant, and I noticed how clean the place was. I would also say the bathrooms were of a good quality which for me on a personal level is very important

Everyone kind hard working and helpful except the manager. There is a new Costa promotion with coconut milk and she complains every time I go in and order coconut milk in my drink. Openly. To staff.
