Food smelt lovely noodles were nice bean sprouts were nice and crunchy all tasted good but when I ate a piece of chicken it was awful… skin and strings off the chicken carcass I had to pick out the chicken bits I’ve kept them in the cup the bbq sauce came in was very disappointing the food from here is normally good

Quite possible the worst food we have had. The chips had clearly been sat out a long time as they where freezing cold, and most where hard. They tasted stale too! Avoid this place!

Old lukewarm chips and very dry - very surprised as used to be the best you could get

The food is always perfect from here. The pizza I had was one of the tastiest ever and my wife was more than happy with her crispy duck. Can forgive the lateness on a Xmas Eve and sorry I had to phone on such a busy night but that was more the Just eat app that caused the confusion

Really really unfortunately the rice had metal bits of scrubber in it which isn't only dangerous but also makes you question how things are being washed and what the food safety is like :/ also just eat refused me a refund. Food went in the bin

both wraps were wrapped with 2 feet perhaps as it fell apart in our hands, sauce dripped from the bottom despite foil cover what indicates foil cover was also done with either feet or 2 left hands. very disappointed!

Was quiet disappointed in our meals tonight last time I went village fryer it was so good but the salt and pepper chicken and chips weren’t very salt and peppery at all the chips was greasy as anything the sweet and sour had a funky taste to it I dont like sweet and sour personally but my son loves it normally but he said it tasted like vinegar most of it went in the bin if I’m honest but it is what it is we all have good days and bad but last time I went it was really nice just this time no

Consistently good meals whether it's fish & chips, spice box or kebabs or chinese food. Quality is consistently good on all items.

asked for no onions in the duck and wraps and specified it in the notes, but for some reason they decided to remove onions from all the meals. other orders they add onions to all the meals despite the notes left. quite disappointing that wishes are not heard and take away is not accommodative to a specific requests.

We really love this chippy and we always have the same. The battered sausages and chips where not as fresh tonight at they usually are unfortunately. Usually the batter is super crunchy.

Food is always lovely. Always hot and made to order. Ready when they text you. Staff are always friendly. I won’t go anywhere else now never had a bad experience

Owner, I presume, very abrupt bordering on rude. Not just with me but with his own staff, again… This is the second time I’ve tried this place as the first time I thought he might have been having an off day, but nope, he was rude again. Doner kebab was light as a feather, no meat, no please or thank you when paying him. Very unpleasant experience, for the second and final time. Only gave a few more stars for service for the young girl who was trying to serve me, before said “gentleman” had a go at her as well.

Awful. Cold wet food ... Got the order wrong and the food was terrible..Sorry i dont normally comment but Rhat food was bad...Even squashed when it arrived.. Curry everywhere... I will never order again... 😒

The order went to the wrong takeaway, I wanted the village fryer in upton wirral, I have now had 2 pay twice

ordered a Chinese meal. it comes with chips or rice so we ordered chips. order arrived but no chips. called the chippy where she said they will send them straight out. it is now 90 minutes since I called and still nothing. I have tried 87 times to call them since but just says line busy. I think they have blocked me. it's disgsince we order from them all the time.

Just called in to the village fryer after work. The food is fine but the atmosphere amongst the staff is terrible. The older woman, clearly the boss, is terrible. Her attitude to her staff is disgusting. The poor young woman was constantly harassed and was being told off by this older woman, being bullied. It was uncomfortable to see and hear. I honestly, don't know how the young woman didn't walk out!!!

Says collection time 20 mins but after I placed the order the time it said it'd be ready was 70 mins away... Went to check after half an hour & got told I was early but then it was ready 2 mins later anyway. Wasn't even busy in there.

Food is always great but was exceptionally good tonight! Only thing was the wait, it was on time for when the app said, but still felt a bit long to wait...although when we got it , it was definitely worth the wait, piping hot and very tasty!

The chicken tikka kebab was vile. Had to throw half of it away, as it had gooey yellow pieces in it? Not sure what that is but it’s usually unreal from this place. The other items we ordered such as salt and pepper chips were perfect, as were the sauces. Just a shame the kebab really let them down tonight

Food was absolutely disgusting it was INEDIBLE ..... rang them and they are collecting the food and I have requested REFUND via Just Eat !!!! Prawn toast had no prawns just fried bread with sesame seeds on???? . Burger in far too much batter and not cooked properly was pink ??? The Chicken Fried Rice was hardly any chicken and rice was soggy like boiled not fried and tasted funny and funny colour !!!! I was very surprised with this and in the past never had any problems so don't know what has happened over past few months !!! I would appreciate delivery fee refunding too !!!

Had fish, chips and peas and beef fried rice with a tub of curry. Order came quickly but without peas or curry. Called and it was sent within 10 minutes. The fish was thin and grey most of the chips were bad. The beef fried rice was all stuck together in lumps and chewy. Never use this place again. £23 wasted 🤢

The sweet and sour pork was uncooked and pasty. The curry was like gravy. We have ordered here in the past with good experience but this was awful. Won’t be ordering again which makes us sad.

Lovely food apart from the gravy which had been squashed and was everywhere. Also paid £2.80 for a 1.5 ltr of Diet Coke and it was a 1.25 ltr

Food is always lovely, we order regular and have never had a problem sometime we get our food a little later than stated but the quality makes up for this the food never fails
