Terrible setup for click and collect shopping. Most places will have a system for checking in and they bring the shopping to you in 5 or so minutes. When you arrive at this store there is very little signage and staff will just walk past. We had a collection slot for 1800-1830 and they didn’t start picking our shopping until 1800 so we stood waiting until half past until they had finished. It would have been quicker to just do the shopping ourselves. My experience of click and collect at other supermarkets and even different ASDA stores has been completely different and I usually arrive within the booked collection time and the shopping is picked ready with just the time it takes for the staff to wheel it out to you depending on the queue. However, this is the second time trying click and collect at this store and the experience has been the same with a long wait stood at the collection point.

While in your store this morning a fire alarm went off . I was sat in the cafe with numerous people thinking it was a test as quite often they are done while we are shopping . This was actually a real alarm ! No one said ! Staff were leaving the store in groups and they walked past and no one said !! My daughter is 8 months pregnant , there were people with adult walking aids sat in the cafe with us . My daughter asked a lady behind the counter could we order and she was told it’s a proper alarm you need to go outside . By the time we got out all the staff were outside safe !! Why did no one bother to tell us ! Surely someone should tell the customers ! Surely we count for something !! I spoke to a lady when we were allowed in store and she said the staff are just told to leave !!!!!!! Very sad ! I am a customer experience leader in my job and found this most shocking !! I think needs rethinking !!

So, I bought a little George own brand electric George foreman style grill. Happy at the price and the quality. However, when I opened the box, I found what can only be described as an empty box of mens sexual endurance pills. Disgusted wasn't the word, and when my partner walked in I had to endure a very very uncomfortable conversation. None the less, what's worse is I rang customer service in store only to be offered nothing for my trouble with a rather dismissive manager on the end of the phone. Disgusted isn't the word. My advice stay away from any Asda own products you never know who's had their hands on them!

I arrived at store grabbing a few bits, heard the announcement at 7 mins to to say closing. We were getting to our last isle and at 5 to we had aomeone rushing us along. I went to the front to checkout and nobody on tills, asked if someone can man the till and got told "not at this time, no". This isn't isolated either. The same person said the same last week and soemone else came and manned the till with hesitation and told me "just ask someone will happily do it" but that wasn't the case. We had the same issie 4 months ago. Needless to say I didn't checkout. I left the shopping basket and went to my local tesco. I require tills, i do not work for Asda. Refused to be served and told I have to use the self checkouts, I said I don't work for your company and I'd like someone on the till and they just looked at me like I'm daft. I left my stuff and walked out, didn't have this problem in Sainsburys so I'll be going there in future.

Was in-store today when by my own fault and slippery floors not made for flip flops lol. I slipped when raising my left leg too high. I fell levitating my body and slamming flat onto floor. I was shocked that several staff members looked on as my daughter helped me up not one member of the staff asked or helped they just watched. I ended up laughing, I suffer with spinal issues and todays incident instore not only wasn't documented by staff was ignored. Hopefully their in-store camera picked it up. For any staff member that reads this and saw shame on you for just watching. I hold no hard feelings but seriously the floors are smooth, slippy and for shoes with no grip are not good. I love this store but I now have a bruised ass back shoulder headache etc u all know how a knock to the head goes. Amd not one member offered assistance just stood watched and laughed.

I shop regularly at the asda in Westbrook and the difference in service is staggering. I often use the cafe in asda Westbrook and the staff are Fantastic, so I was keen to try the cafe in cockhedge. I rarely feel the need to complain but the service was truly awful the woman who served me looked grumpy and it felt like she did her upmost to make me feel unwelcome, she said it will take a minute for your chips do you want the pizza now. I replied no i will have them together, she was visibly annoyed by this reply and then just stood there. I asked what happens now will you bring the food over when it's ready? She just said 'if we're not busy' abruptly (there were 3 people in the entire cafe) I said ok went to sit down and she brought the food over about a minute later. I said thankyou trying to give her a chance to treat me like a human being. She o put the tray down and did not say a word with the same grumpy expression on her face. It's obvious to me why the cafe was empty at lunch time despite the excellent value.

As a regular shopper at Asda Westbrook, I was totally disgusted on today's visit to find lack of adherence to face covering requirements. Numerous people entering store unchallenged without face masks. Even Asda colleagues either wearing no coverings or just covering mouths. Even witnessed a colleague speaking to customer who wasn't wear covering while announcement reminding people of requirements was being played. Horrible experience, we had spent the night in gullivars world a few months back the weather had been horrible 9 Yr old daughter was soaked threw so we popped into this asda for breakfast. She went round the George part and picked a cheap outfit we went to the till to pay why our breakfast was being prepared then she went into the toilet to change. Why in there an employee went up to my daughter and said have you paid to which she replied my mum has. I thought I was being paranoid various staff looking over at us eating but I wasn't because as we went to leave the store the small red haired security guard rudely said to me with a team off equally rude staff behind him " do you want to pay for your clothes love" with a sly smirk. I immediately showed him my receipt and left the store in shock. After I thought over the situation if just 1 of these ppl came over to me initially this could of been resolved with out the embarrassment. I have tried to make a formal complaint no reply through email and nobody available to answer the phone. Horrible place and staff.

Asda is Asda , same products in most stores, like all supermarkets but it's the staff that make this one good. The new self service area is good, plenty of distance between the checkouts now, the old one could get very cramped at certain times, staff the on self service are very friendly. Try to avoid though when they reduce the stuff they are tying to sell off cheap, between 7 and 8pm in the fresh food section and bakery areas, social distancing goes out the window as people block the aisles like sardines. Could be better managed in my opinion.

They was staff and a security guard walking round yet nothing was said. I stood by the veg and counted 7 people not wearing them correctly. This is now mandatory and you as staff should be questioning your customers that have them on but not wearing correctly. Come on do your bit to help stop the spread.

Rubbish I too waited over 20 minutes to collect a weekday shop this month and was told by a manager ‘ all I can do is apologise’ again not good enough unacceptable esp when I said’im here on the app’ and asked 3 Asda colleagues for help If you could choose not to use cockhedge , choose elsewhere like Westbrook with lockers Why don’t Asda have an attendant with a radio to ask collectors their name- radio through and get shopping brought out

We ordered a kids chicken nuggets meal - we then asked for Several different toasties/panini of which none were available, nor were any jacket potatoes - so we asked them to take our fries off and we would just have the KIDS meal - £2.35 - no problem. We sat down and when the food came we asked for the drink and fruit - we were told that we had to order separate, we showed proof from the menu and without saying anything the lady walked off! She went speaking to her colleagues in the kitchen and they then all came back to say that they had billed each of the items separately, as if we had ordered it that way! after some persuasion they gave us a Capri-sun (no Choice of water/juice/milk as on menu) and no fruit. A few minutes later one of the staff shouted over to tell us not to eat our Asda sandwiches, well I’m sorry but seen as half your menu is unavailable and my son is eating your food I do feel you are being somewhat pedantic - To which she replied we are nothing to do with Asda, sighed and stormed off! A few minutes later someone approached and slammed a tangerine in front of my partner - honestly the attitude was unbelievable Disgusting behaviour and morals especially infront of a young child. No way will I ever return!!

As this is the usual store that I shop at, I have been nothing but stressed whenever I now go shopping since the Lockdown. It appears that the management are not putting enough safety measures in place to protect us, & are still prioritising profit over our safety. On several occasions when I have questioned staff I have been advised they are just doing what they are told. The foreign security guard outside who is in charge of letting people in, lets multiple people in together, when questioned he just ushered me into the store. Staff seem to think they can go against the 1 way system that is currently in place, when questioned I was told he works there & gets paid to be here. However true, if the staff are not going to set examples, how do you expect customers to follow the rules. There are no marshall's watching what customers do, I have seen umpteen times customers picking up many different items of the same food before putting they're chosen item in their basket/trolley. Again there is nobody to Marshall the persistent ignorance from customers who blatantly go against the rules & go up the wrong way...walk past somebody too closely. There are customers just walking very close to the tills when they're not meant to be beyond the queuing line. For us customers that are sticking to the rules it is a very stressful time to go shopping when you can clearly see that enough is not being done to protect our safety. I am yet to see any disinfectant spray/wipes upon entry to the store which is disgusting. I even went at tea time on 1 occasion to try to reduce anxiety caused by recent events, there was no queue I must admit, upon almost entering the store a customer came out against the 1 way system so I had to tell him to stick to the rules, I got inside & what looked like a security guard that should have been outside controlling people entering was talking very closely to the girl working the security camera. I brought it to their attention what had happened & they both just looked at me. Further more as I was shopping it came quite apparent that there were far too many customers in store....groups of shoppers, at least down 2/3 of the isles there must have 6/7 people at once, which was impossible to stay 2 metres away. Upon exiting the store, again possibly the same guy was still talking to the girl on camera watch had no control/had no clue how many people were in store as customers were just allowed to walk in. When this was put to the them, the guy just said that he didn't work there. So it seems that maybe at tea time/night time that there isn't actually any security on at all. There is 1 guy that seems to be doing a great job in keeping everything in order (Kev in charge of security) I believe, he was working along the till line 1 w/end & he made you feel very safe, he would not allow anyone to cross the lines & even took some stick for being strict but if that's what you have to do to keep us all safe, then so be it. There should be more staff like Kev keeping order. Keep up the hard work Kev & other staff members trying their best to keep order & to keep us safe. Management need to get on the shop floor & see for themselves how hard some of their staff are working & to see what more needs to be done to ensure our safety at all times, not just peak times.

Security are brilliant there, under the circumstances that’s going on a 40 min wait prob on a bank holiday weekend is great, so ste go to Tesco or Morrison’s we’re ur waiting up to 3 hours. I’d say 40 mins is good. And I’m led to believe they can only let a certain amount of people in at a time, it’s not 1 in 1 out or you would be waiting a lot longer. And there’s only limited tills on due to the social distance. I watched security help a lady on sat that fainted on him. So give these people the credit they deserve and the staff that work there ok. Show some respect instead of moaning about a 40 min wait which is good compared to other shops. Well done security and well done staff who are still keeping us safe and all stocked up at this tough time.

I haven't shopped in this store for about five years, because every time I came here to shop, I was questioned by the colleagues on self scan and the cafe if I was presenting my own discount card. When one woman said she didn't know me I told her it's because I work at Westbrook. Also had a woman giving me a funny look because I was buying alcohol even though I was about 35 at the time. Disgrace. Whole heatedly agree with a previous reviewer's comment: "they have removed all the bags from the checouts and now have one person walking around distributing them. This means you have to wait 5 mins for a carrier bag. The person then hands tou a bag and watches you scan it to make sure your not steeling it." Staff are some of the rudest staff I have ever met. Feel very uneasy and in fact threatened trying to enter the store when there are constant salesman just outside the entrance. I try to walk on the opposite side and hide from them because you are made to feel like a criminal if you don't want to hear about what rubbish they are selling/promoting. Stock is poor, limited range of Amy's meals, as opposed to other Asdas and some other Tescos. I do my best to avoid this place and only visit when really necessary.

This is by far the worst supermarket in the universe. They dont sell white wine vinegar as apparently there is no call for it in the north 😶 they have removed all the bags from the checouts and now have one person walking around distributing them. This means you have to wait 5 mins for a carrier bag. The person then hands tou a bag and watches you scan it to make sure your not steeling it. I asked why this was and apparently £3000 worth of bags where stolen last year. So they now have someone on staff at all times to hand them out. Pretty sure that costs a minimum of 40k a year but whatever. There is rearly a non self service checkout open and when there is it is normaly staffed by the most misrable person they can find. The store is also very strangly arranged oil is in 2 seperate isles and vinigar is in 3 different places flour is in 2 depending on what type you want. And at christmas i was stopped when walking out of the store to ask if i was going to pay for that! When i enquiered as to what they where talking about i had just been to the checkout she pointed at my burtons mensware bag and had a rummage through my new shirts. When i said do you want to say somthing to me now she said not really on your way please. I have also been acused of steeling a carrierbag on 2 occasions by a woman that has now been effectionatly nicknamed the militant bag lady by my girlfriend and I on both times she checked my recipt. I live opposit the place so its convienient but i have never know a shop so un friendly or to treet its customers like criminals all the time. Oh and the bakery wont sell you fresh bread untill about 9 as otherwise everyone leaves the old bread :/ ....... THE ONLY POINT OF GOING THERE AT 7.30 WAS FOR FRESH BREAD FOR BREKFAST!!!!!!! luckily if your nice to one of the bakers he will sneek you a fresh loaf but if any of the others are on you get told you cant have one.

Great service. Pity the trolly keys have been removed by customers so they can get a trolley everytime they visit Asda this really needs to be sorted, I can't fault the shop floor staff they are quick to help. Come on Asda get this sorted 😊

I ordered travel money on line. I then had to make 2 visits to find the que at the counter short enough to stay. With 3 people in front of me I waited 45 minutes to reach the front of the que. Lady in front had also visited twice and found the lady serving "Linda" in need of retraining in customer service. The number of times I heard she hadn't had a break and she closed at 8pm was unbelievable. Lady in front told me she had been ranted at about the fact that the current customer was going to take 45minutes so everybody else should just leave. When I was finally served I was told ordering online makes it more difficult and longer because she has to use 5 websites to issue the money. May be if she shut up and got on with it people would be served quicker or she could have a break. Strongly recommend go elsewhere for your money. The slightly better rate just isn't worth it.

This is about the cafe at Asda, Cockhedge Centre. I called in with a friend for food and a drink on Monday afternoon. The food was very very tasteless, un-appetising and dry, i know it's cheap but really Asda, with all the food you sell surely a little bit of thought would go a long way. I could not even say it was Cheap and cheerful because unfortunately it was not.

If you get the chance, have a bacon buttie and grab yourself a coffee in the asda cafe. Very reasonable and certainly hit the spot!

AVOID this shopping center, I have been fined because I've overstayed 35 minutes more than the 2h (max free time allowed) in the car park and I had to pay a parking charge of £60 to ParkingEye. I've provided the evidence that I have been shopping at ASDA on that day and the evidence that I do my weekly shopping there but they haven't considered it, I've followed up with ASDA customer service but they said they cannot do nothing because they don't own the car park. In simple terms AVOID this shopping center because it is a trap, you are spending your money but you are not protected from no one as a customer...

Food is very good from here, been several times. Only downside is that last time I ordered over the phone and one of the side dishes of chips was missing. Will order at the counter in future, so I can check the order is correct next time.
