The Captain's Table in Warrington

The most disgusting food I have ever had from take away. Chips that could break stones, Donner meat had suspicious smell and the sauces... I can't even call it sauces, not sure what they was made from, but disgusting aftertaste will haunt you for hours. I. Do. Not. Recommended.

Great place, outdoor sitting with heaters, perfect location

Had a house special Pizza, very enjoyable. while waiting for it I was sat looking at everything on the menu, very impressive

Nice family fish & chip supper not too much batter on the fish and nothing was over greasy.

Excellent food as always, portions are big too.

Chips were undercooked,more batter than fish and what fish there was was rubbery

Delivery was due 19.40.. Delivered st 20. 37 nearly an hour later. Few calls to restaurant to be told each time. On way on way.... It's not good Food was barely warm. Not good enough. Was told 19.50 it was on the way.. Puts me off buying again.

Quality and warmth of food was not good

excellent food can't fault it and the delivery is usually on time or early not often its late but when you start to eat it goes out of your head

Waited an hour and 20 minutes for 2 portions of chips and 2 cheese pies. The chips were warm not hot and not the best! The pies were nice and hot though.wont be ordering again as thats too long to wait for average food

the food was well over an hour late, my missus was looking forward to having her dessert and when it tuned up it was like an ice cube, 🧊 she nearly snapped her teeth trying to have a bite, we order from here all the time but tonight I would like a full refund as the whole meal was ruined

unfortunately the mushy peas were hard and the gravy too salty, the pudding was dried out, not the usual quality from the captains table.

the fish was terrible, soggy outside, cardboard inside and overall flavourless, chips were all just mushed together

ordered the meal deal 1...4 pieces of chicken, Doner meat and chips with a can and a kids nugget meal. Food arrived on time and was hot and very good portions, chicken was hot and crispy as were the nuggets and the doner meat was hot and tasty👍

ordered the 10in Special pizza with extra sweetcorn and kids Doner meat meal and 2 x Pepsi....food arrived on time...was hot and delicious...plenty of topping on the pizza and the chips and doner meat were a good sized portion and were hot...all food was enjoyed 😉

Normally perfect but past few orders have been a real let down. Late delivery & cold food, the pitta bread with the kebab was inedible it could have smashed a window.

Perfect as always great value for money and delivered early can't fault captains table!!!

Order all the time never had a problem, unfortunately items missing tonight, frustrating when paid for and not received.

Chips could of been cooked longer

we initially ordered at around 7:30pm to find at 8pm that our order had been cancelled (drivers unavailable? still awaiting refund) however 2nd attempt of ordering I was validated in trying again, food arrived hot and tasty, plenty of food. Canadian burger 10/10. chips 8/10 slightly anemic and unseasoned, nothing some salt and vinegar can't fix, however not soggy and thoroughly cooked, donner and steak kebab 10/10. our new go to takeaway!

Waited over 1hour 30 minutes when i got it it was not hot just warm i asked for fresh onions on both sausage dinners did not get any

I'm not sure how late our order was, maybe 10 mins, but it was definitely worth the wait!! The chips were amazing!! I think it's the first time my daughter ate every single bit. I had forgot to add a small chips to my internet order so I phoned, the lady was lovely and very understanding, she said to give the driver the driver the money for them.

Pitta bread rock hard, steak just as hard as the pitta bread, chips was all mushy and falling apart, salad was brown and watery, won’t ordering again

our food was 15 minutes late and cool

Turned up late. Didn't have the rice I ordered. The chips tasted odd. The onion rings were really soggy. The fish was NOT fresh. Suffice to say, I won't be ordering again.

burger was an absolute mess soggy bread cold called them after being 20 mins late to be told 20mins then another 40 mins till delivery then it arrived an absolute mess will never order again

the Main entrance is where you come in to the hospital not A+E entrance.

Foods always great, but they messed up my order. Should have been Garlic Mayo on my donner meat, but they put it on my sons plain cheeseburger instead. So he wouldn't eat it, wasted meal but still good food.

A look through the reviews, I noted a high number of low ratings attributed to delivery issues, a challenge that seems commonplace among many food establishments reliant on delivery services for timely and satisfactory food delivery. The staff were courteous and efficient, offering swift service and freshly cooked fish upon order. Overall, I found it to be an acceptable take-away option, albeit with scope for enhancement. Fantastic food, always hot and on time. Proper chippy chips, gorgeous pizzas and kebabs. Chicken breast delicious too!! Highly recommend

Oh my goodness this food was absolutely beautiful When the soft crispy chicken entered my mouth it took me back to 1992 in Limerick where the Shannon waters shined so bright I was 8 years old and my mother was cooking in the kitchen while my father was fixing the lights on his 1990 Ford Cortina (it was red) if I could give 10 stars I would, I’m gonna get this again as soon as my universal credit Grant payment comes in. Lovely staff
