We went here (on my daughter's recommendation) for a laid back Mother's Day brunch. It was a great choice with excellent and friendly service from the moment we walked in. The menu was varied with good choices but, in the end, we all opted for varying sizes of the All Day Breakfast - an excellent decision. On another visit (big hint to my daughter) I will try one of their other items on the menu as there was a really good choice. The cafe is in an unassuming parade of local shops but, my goodness, it does stand out from the rest.

This was not what I was expecting. The food was amazing. All freshly cooked and well presented. The food was of very good quality with local sourced meat. The service was really good. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. This cafe exceed my expectations.

First impressions of the place was that it was clean, tidy and modern and once inside the staff where really welcoming and very helpful, even when we had food and drinks the staff checked that everything was all ok with our meal and checked if we wanted anything else which is a lot more than most cafes do! I was pleasantly surprised by the range choice of the food and drink menu for vegetarians and vegans!! Even nowadays it can be difficult for me to find a café that does vegetarian food, let alone a vegan option but this café does and has a very good range of choice, whether you want breakfast, lunch or a light bite. They have a mixture of milk alternatives as well which makes a nice change than having to have a black coffee. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommended anyone to go, vegan, veggie or non of the above, as my mum is neither and really enjoyed her lunch and to top it off the café is dog friendly which is really lovely to see, they even have dog treats which they give out to all the four legged customers which is a really nice touch

First trip couple of weeks ago order taken over telephone picked up as instructed everyone was pleased with that particular order, so thought we would try again today. Order taken over phone we collected in person. When breakfasts were opened hash browns were burnt greasy fatty messes, bacon nice but loads of fat on, sausages and egg were ok. Ordered baguette but received bin lid, asked for muffin but they didn't have so ended up with another bin lid. Sadly not impressed with this visit and will not return as there are so many lovely food outlets to choose from. within surrounding area.

It’s always difficult to write a review on a traditional cafe because of the very small margins of profit that they have. After several visits.. The cafe. Large spacious area. Very clean. 5/5 Service. Really fast 5/5 Staff. friendly.5/5 Value for money.. 5/5 Food . So far the sausages are always over cooked but the rest is nice. The plates could really do with being hot as some of the breakfast ingredients get cold to quickly. 4/5 Overall very good.

Passed here yesterday, and as it was my birthday thought I'd pop in for an indulgent treat for brunch. The Eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back next time I want to treat myself

Attended Saturday night quiz. Arrived at 7:00pm. Started with a glass of red wine and Mediterranean platter followed by a to die for cheesecake( all food freshly cooked by Jason ( chef ) and the team. Wolfed the cheese cake down and realised I hadn't took a picture. Had a few more vino's during the quiz along with some banter with Jason and the regular customers. All tables were booked and nice to see a full house. Made a change to the average Saturday night and will certainly do it again. Would recommend to call in prior for some brekky or lunch to book quiz any day before or on Saturday. Quiz moved on quicker than your normal pub quiz which was great with the light banter and no typical interruptions from pub scene. Didn't win the quiz but enjoyed trying.

Stumbled on this wonderful cafe as we were on our way home from a camping trip. The staff are incredibly friendly and were so welcoming and kind to my 5yo daughter. The food was amazing, we both had the breakfast and my daughter had a lunch box which she loved and I thought it was great value, when we went inside to pay we couldn't not buy one (or two) of the amazing cakes. So delicious. Thank you :)

Our favourite place to come for brunch after football. The team, as always, went above and beyond with the orders for our family (all with different dietary requirements). The boys had the classic big breakfast with local products at a great price. I tried the weekend special eggs Benedict and it was amazing. The boys filled their boots. The girls enjoyed new things. The doorstop toast alone is worth the visit. Sadly, no room for my favourite one the menu - parsnip cake, but the cake-away option meant I could enjoy it later. We brought a friend for their first visit and she was blown away.

Not religious at all but like other reviewers found this true OASIS when looking for refreshment in Chester Just great, lovely staff and clientele and great quality and value coffee and cakes... Interesting selection of books, gifts, cards etc Would use regularly if we lived locally Staff say they may have to relocate soon due to "commercial development of the site" Surely the Church which is not short of funds can provide an alternative venue for this wonderful place which probably does more for spreading the religious message than many more traditional churches etc...something in the Cathedral Precinct maybe?? Good luck to you all and God bless ( if it helps)
