Great atmosphere. Service could use a bit of attention. Food was made with love.

The service is friendly and the range of food is really good. They also do gluten-free, so my granddaughter can have a cake with us.

Beautiful little place. Cakes are amazing and the tea and sandwiches really hit the spot. Super child friendly and such a beautiful place. You can't fault it. Would recommend to anyone who wants some afternoon tea

A friendly local tea room where everyone is made to feel welcome. Home made cakes and scones are a delicious delight, but you can get other food as well - my favourite being the poached eggs with smoked salmon.

Lizzie and the team from the Grace Tea Room provided lunches for the Ellesmere Port STEAM Festival at the National Waterways Museum. They delivered everything and catered to the various special diets we had amongst the providers who we were feeding. The food was fantastic, and they supplied 30-40 lunches for each of 4 days. The feedback we received was great, the only complaint we had was that there was too much! Some of the people who were Vegan or Gluten Free commented how nice it was to have a meal that was as good as the 'normal' ones. Thank you, Grace Tea Room!

Did my work experience here when I was younger and occasionally come back. The owner(s) has great knowledge of food allergies and particular diets. I had no idea at the time I was gluten intolerant but I'm so glad I know where to go now. It's small and blends in but is such a treat to go to. All lovely staff and pretty environment.

Cold inside and smelt musty. Had the full breakfast, hash browns soggy, fried egg hard not runny, toast with whatever was on it, not nice. Sausage and bacon ok the only positive was that everything was hot. Wouldn't go again.

Visited for breakfast today and i have to say, it’s a lovely little tea room, very homely with polite & friendly staff. Food was really nice and very reasonably priced. I got the eggs Benedict (which I would recommend) Thank you for a lovely experience x

This is a true hidden gem of a cafe. The owner and her team go above and beyond to welcome us every time we visit. We like it that much that we come every single week! The food is delicious and in my opinion they do the best cooked breakfast in the area. Always attentive to our needs, we feel looked after and valued and that is becoming so difficult to find these days. I highly recommend you pop in and see for yourself as we love the place.

Came here for the first time and had a breakfast, the lady that was running the cafe was lovely and welcoming. This really is a do it all cafe, they have craft activities and lots of food options including cakes with various themes, Alice and wonderland and wizarding cakes! I highly recommend!

The ladies serving us and who cooked us breakfast were superb. We had a normal breakfast and a vegan one and both were really nice. Will be paying another visit in the near future

Friendly staff, nice food, homely, and has its own parking outside I had omelette and milkshake. My only suggestions are: serve food on larger plates, with larger portion size, and the milkshake in a larger glass, and less blended, so it is thicker with the ice cream it has in it.

We had a lovely breakfast here in a very pleasant room. The food was good, great black pudding and a nice ambience. The boss, or our server was really friendly and giving us plenty of information about the area.

We hired the crockery for an afternoon tea from Grace's tea room and it was fantastic! Everything was easy, all was ready for us when we collected it and we ended up ordering a cake too because they all look so delicious! We are usual customers in there and love it every time!

I ordered an afternoon tea for my hubbie at the last minute and was really impressed they were able to squeeze another one in for delivery given it was a coronation weekend . There was lots to choose from and the quality was excellent . Hubbie couldn’t eat it all as there was so much . I also ordered vegan cakes for my son who said they were delicious and he is hard to please . We will definitely order again

Had a veggie breakfast, the fairer half had a Coffee & Walnut cake with her Coffee. Fair faire at a reasonable price, tea served in China cups with saucers. Very twee.

Quite a delight and really the gem of Ellesmere Port's High Street (which has seen better days I'm sure). Open 9am till 4pm with a concise and easy menu of hot and cold food and cakes and ice cream and lashings of tea all served in vintage cups and saucers. Super friendly ..... nothing was too much trouble and for info ... above the tea shop is a rather good AirBnB. The Tea Shop and accommodation also has parking in front off set from the road.

Visited Grace’s this afternoon with friends for afternoon tea. Read the great reviews and thought we’d give it a try. Wow! We were not disappointed! The food, and particularly the delicious homemade scones and cakes were to die for! If you’re looking for a quaint tea room to meet with friends, or celebrate with family, this is a great place. Can’t wait to visit again.

Every town could use with a Grace Tea Room. Lucky Ellesmere Port! I wish this was located in Warrington! Independent cafe with loads of vegan options (and other dietary requirements), lovely owner as well.

My wife and I took the bus from Chester to Ellesmere Port to visit the Waterways Museum. The town is looking a little tired and after 35 minutes on the bus we wre too. So it was a very pleasant surprise to come across Grace Tea Room on the walk down to the museum. Why a surprise? Well, at first glance the window full of vintage china appeared rather more like a bric-a-brac shop than a cafe. (Sorry, I cana't do accents on this site) Stepping inside is like entering someone's front room. A cosy tea room with a family feel to it. A variety of cakes - all home-made - were too tempting to ignore and we had a Bakewell and a scone with our tea. What is not on the menu is the welcome. The owner's ever-growing collection of vintage bone china was employed to serve our tea and cakes. And doesn't tea taste better in a china cup than in an earthenware mug - or, worse still, a cardboard one? The arrival of a regular customer prolonged our tea break as we all joined in conversation which did not touch on politics or religeon but did include steam engines and canals. Don't pass this gem. It's such a refreshing stop.

Mum and I have just been for a vegatarian breakfast . Lovely large cooked breakfast. Lovely surroundings, made to feel very welcome. Bought two slices of homemade cake to have at home. Well worth a visit

First time going to this tearoom for me and my girlfriend. Must have drove past many times before, so glad we gave the breakfast a try. The host was very attentive and sociable. The food was excellent, hot and tasty. The menu has some great choices, which we will be back to try. I have to mention The Wizards afternoon tea which looks brilliant.

I have visited Grace Tea Room on several occasions and I have never been disappointed. Liz and her team go the extra mile for everyone. The hand made cakes are delicious. I particularly like the coffee and walnut, coconut and pineapple and the scones are simply to die for. There are always different activities on offer. This week there have been Halloween packs for the children to colour in. There are also pottery items to paint. Whenever I am meeting friends for coffee I always suggest meeting here. Not convinced? Well, don't take my word for it - get yourself down to Grace Tea Room and taste for yourself.

First visit to Grace Tea Room. Found for it's location, but also because dogs were allowed inside. Quite often places say they are pet friendly and what they actually mean is you can sit outside. Not much fun if it's raining, especially when you have a well behaved dog. Had coffee and a Full English, which was bloody gorgeous. Then had a second coffee, sat in their garden. Lovely friendly service too. I have already recommended it to friends that live in the area.

Great to have such a lovely cafe in Ellesmere Port. All home cooking and they make lovely cakes daily to have with a coffee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. In March 2021 they moved to a more central location in Ellesmere Port with free parking and back garden.

We sat in the garden and ordered Eggs Royale and 2 coffees. The waitresses were attentive and made sure we had all we needed but they were not "in your face". Such a delightful range of fresh baked cakes and scones. We were spoilt for choice

Ordered a last minute, same day, afternoon tea for the family to have at home and I was so impressed with the service offered. Nothing was too much trouble, Lizzie was wonderful, friendly and really helpful with suggestions. When we got the Afternoon Tea it was delicious. There was more than enough for us all, everything was fresh and home made, the selections of sandwiches and cakes were phenomenal and the scones and cream were the best we have ever tasted. ok, lets be fair. the old tea room was quirky but lovely, the proprietor greeted you and made conversation, the tables were evenly spaced and it was a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy your breakfast, tea was provided with hot water for topping up, atmosphere was relaxed and cosy, comfortable and quaint.The NEW tearoom , long awaited by my friend and I over lockdown, was visited today, 19.05.21. We walked in, wasn't sure where to sit although one table was reserved one table was accommodated by a baby and and an employee who was sorting out decor & proceeded to tear the back off an old picture frame, so we asked if it was ok to sit on the only available table inside, feeling a little like we should have booked. Tea was served in a mug, placed on a china saucer (WT*?) arriving well before breakfast did, which gave us plenty of time to "enjoy" the resident employee wiping pictures down, talking about the baby"s bogies, brushing up around us, walking around with the baby in the cluttered compact space taken up by high chairs (not being used at that Time) the two seater sofa the office in the corner and the arrival of relatives and a large dog that nearly had its head on our table. The Brown sauce lid had been closed on a massive splodge of sauce which had dried and the bottle itself was wet on the cap. breakfast was nice, no complaints there, but listening to a conversation about amniotic fluid cesarians and scars aren't my idea of breakfast conversation. Toilets were nice, think I would rather have sat in there, at least it would have been peaceful, the arrival of the other two customers who had the dog were obviously known to the business and my friend and I felt like we'd gatecrashed a party. Quick exit ... glad we weren't offered coffee. or anything else for that matter, DIS- Grace.... what a shame, rather enjoyed going there at the old premises, even tho on our last visit the sauce was empty. for comparison, those of you who watch coronation street will be familiar with Gary Windass"s second hand furniture shop, enough said. Breakfast WAS nice, and we WERE acknowledged albeit when we were leaving, sorry to have interrupted what was like a family gathering.

Came here this morning, had always wanted to visit, went with my friend and mum. Amanda was waiting on, she seemed busy but always service with a smile. Had breakfast then stopped for cake and tea. Couldn't choose just one cake. I had one there and 3 to take home. Will be visiting everytime I go to ellesmere port. Everything was covid safe, they have the test and trace qr code at all the tables outdoors. Considering they have not long moved, they're doing so well. Can't wait to see you again thank you to Cat, Lizzy and Amanda for a lovely afternoon.

Found this on trip advisor, afternoon tea and a jacket potato, we were made to feel very welcome , it’s very quirky and I loved the crockery, only problem is parking , but worth the walk from the car , lovely staff and food also dogs are welcome which is a great bonus, would love to visit again when in the area .

Afternoon tea delivered as a treat for our wedding anniversary, driver knocked box containing food onto her car floor which she later denied, pictures say different.Even without the incident, the food is poor quality and certainly not worth the £20 paid.Glad to say the person who sent this to us was given her money back, that is the only reason I have scored them one!

Fancied a coffee before getting my hair done down the road, service fantastic, host very attentive and would do anything to help/ assist. Very polite, Had some toast with marmalade, choice of marmalade’s I went for the lemon-very tasty and a large Americano, great coffee. great prices. Lovely china crockery, and well presented. Peaceful felt like stepping into a friends house. Will definitely return.

Absolutely hidden gem! This tea room has a huge selection and caters for absolutely all dietary needs- even having options for vegan and gluten free AND it is ridiculously good value! The staff are lovely and welcoming and there’s plenty of things to keep kids busy from toys to pottery painting. This is honestly my new favourite cafe- and my dog loves it too!

This is a place where you not only get what is on the menu, you get a warm welcome, meet friends, and leave with a desire to return.

As the Americans would say, "It's a quaint little place". The owner is very pleasant and helpful and makes you feel right at home and comfortable. Just goes to prove you don't need a high end Ritz hotel to feel pampered and appreciated.

This is a delightful independent cafe which offers fantastic meals for all, including vegetarian and vegan options, and a variety of cakes and jam. It is dog friendly and dog biscuits are available to purchase. I will certainly visit again and again.

We were given a lovely surprise on our anniversary, our daughter arrived with a box containing an amazing afternoon tea, gorgeous cakes ,scones, sandwiches, shortbread hearts, mini apple tarts and a build it yourself cake stand to serve it on. What a brilliant way to make lockdown better.

I have visited this cafe many times by now. It is exceptional food and exceptional owner. this business is run by a local lady who chose to add some beauty into to a dark Corner of Ellesmere Port I do recommend you go and try the amazing food and cake and a vegetarian vegan twists that she came up with to please everyone.
