lovely food, really tasty and hot. another great meal.

For god sake, don't order a combination dish. The whole purpose of these dishes is to have 2 smaller portions of different dishes. Not here, they actually took the 2 different dishes and fully stirred them together in one pot. They never get my husbands order wrong and he orders regularly when I am not at home. However, I decided to try here again tonight after twice being served a meat samosa instead of veg and having my meal wrong on another 3 occasions. But hubby likes it and thought we would give it ago again - I won't be bothering in the future.

The driver could not find the house even though name is clearly visible above the door. I saw him go past but by the time I went outside he had disappeared, apparently back to Redwood. Consequently the food was only luke warm when we got it.

we ordered a lamb curry they brought beef also it was cold ordered a cheese n garlic nan they sent plain food was cold chips soggy also cold would not recommend this restaurant 0 out of 10

Amazing. Driver was lovely. The food is unreal massive chunks of chicken and the naans are huge!

Absolutely disgusting food I'm from Birmingham originally lived in Lichfield 20 years haven't been for a year was told it changed owners the food is disgusting I had king prawn that like worms the curry was like tomato soup shamme kebab was rotten call that a balti 20 pond of dog poo thrown in bin nasty 🤢 stay away from that place it's not a balti house

Order time an hour, 20 minutes late after that. Not the first time delivery was late, so won't be getting it delivered again.

Poperdoms was burnt but curry and man bread was fine

Been ordering from here for a long time now and curries are always spot on! The last one we had was stone cold.. we requested a refund and thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt tonight and order again hoping it was a one off. However, it was stone cold again! 🤦‍♀️ it’s such a shame as the food has always being really nice. Think we are going to have to finds somewhere else

wow what can I say this place is usually lovely but tonight was awful chicken nuggets didn't taste right naan bread not cooked properly chicken tikka runny and chicken hard waste of money food went in bin and had to cook my child a dinner as couldn't eat that

ordered a paneer based dish as I don't eat meat and they gave me chicken, I rang them and they did swap it but took another 40 mins so the naan and chips I was gonna have with it went cold so it was just a waste of time and money, and also they asked for the chicken tikka masala back?? I thought was really strange, I gave then it back but worries me that it would go to someone else?? won't be ordering from here again anyway

Yet again a great takeaway from Village. As the food arrived the driver came to the door and realised that the popadoms had been forgotten. He went back and delivered them 5 mins after the main food. Excellent.

Disappointed the starter didn’t turn up with the meal they really need to check orders before they leave as happened a couple of times now .

Good quality food! Super yummy and good sizes. Even got a few potato pakoras thrown in. Will defo order from here again

Chose the Gandhi's Revenge, don't order that unless you hate yourself, spiciest curry I have ever had, and even knowing this ahead of time/having the chance to not do it I would still order it anyway. Once in a lifetime choice. An experience you will Never forget.

Firstly they didn’t read the order. Items were missed and extras weren’t put in. Food was awful, chicken was dry and rock hard. Curries were full of oil and tasteless.

Excellent food and dekuvery was in time xx will definately order again. Delicious food and i highly trcimmend !

This delivery was perfect! Meals were hot and fresh and we even had a bag of free starters which was a lovely touch. Cannot wait for our next order!

The food was nice, however the order was wrong. Had what was more like a lamb rogan josh instead of a balti, I know this because I also ordered a chicken balti and that was different to the curry with the lamb in it. Also ordered 1 keema naan and 2 cheese and keema naan and only got 3 keema naan.

Food was really fresh and tasty, however oily. The delivery was over 30 mins late and the food cold.

Becoming obsessed with restaurant.. never eating anywhere else again. Perfection every time. Love my veggie dhansak 😋

Mainly grease. Pretty tasteless. Though I had a problem with my order and they came and replaced pretty quickly which was good, the foods just greasy slop, n Keema naan but skimped on the Keema, never seen an Indian like it.

The meal was delivered early which we didn’t mind, but the curries were over flowing with oil it was all in the bags and seeping through the box, the mushroom Bhaji was just like a tray of tomato purée with a cpl mushrooms, the nargis kebab egg was black and green on the inside so inedible We won’t be using again

I don't usually write reviews but these guys deserve it! I usually order from a lot of different places until i find a good one, as i find the chefs move around quite abit. Nearly 5 stars as chicken in my Naga was a little dry other than that sauce, rice, chips, naan bread, poppadoms (mint sauce, onions) were perfection 👌. Will be ordering from here again

For me , the chicken tikka pasanda is the simply the best you can have- never had a bad meal from here .

The fried mushrooms were horrible & tasteless, the chips seems liked they were reheated, the lamb was just ok, but the onions with it tasted horrible. We ordered & paid for cheese nan but were sent a plain one. We have had many take aways before from Village Balti which have always been lovely but this one was awful

I love a curry from here . But was disappointed with meal last night as what I ordered was not like my usual curry so was a bit disappointed, I order the same thing all time & this was not to usual standard in fact it was nothing like what I should have had really . But the food was still ok.

Food great just wished they did smaller portions option as I can never eat all of the food. Food was hot and tasty, onion bhaji was a little greasy but on the whole the meal was great.

I’ve used this for a few weeks now after it was recommended to me by a friend however whilst it is cheaper than its nearest competitor it is not consistent having had nice food but then bland. The last two Sundays they have also managed to get my order wrong! Nothing said last week because it happens but again this week was too much. I have phoned to express my disappointment and whilst there was an apology to start I then found myself cut off! I doubt I will bother again as there are quite a few to choose from in the area but this was the closest (other than the one three doors away).

Recommended by a friend so tried here. It wasn't great tasting, not awful but not great either. I ordered for it to come at 7pm, it arrived at 6:25. Surely people order for it to come at a certain time for a reason? All in all, not great and won't be using again.
