Bigger inside than the external front facade looks. Apparently it's the cheapest pub around, not a bad pint.

No food here but it’s a nice old pub right on the main road. Good beers to choose from. I had a John Smith’s as I didn’t fancy an IPA…

Lovley little local pub very cosy and traditional. Just moved to the area and found this delightful place with great beer.

Well kept bitter off the hand pump. Comfortable, clean, nicely (tastefully) decorated and welcoming house that feels like a traditional village pub and doesn't disappoint. Despite sport being on TV at the back of the bar, we were able to hold a conversation - and play some cards undisturbed by noisy distractions, and without shouting to be heard - which is another major plus for me. I'll definitely be visiting again.

AVOID!! What a dreadful and unwelcoming place. How is it still in business?! I popped in with son and daughter-in-law for a quiet drink early one evening. The landlord and two idiots at the bar took it upon themselves to be deliberately loud and offensive. We left after one drink wondering why we bothered going there, and took a short walk to the Ruddington Arms, where we found a much more welcoming atmosphere, and where the only chips to be found were on the menu rather than on the shoulders of people who should know better.

Great traditional pub with friendly service. The Adnams Boadside I had was in top condition as was the Bass .

This place is fantastic, an old fashioned boozer (in a good way), lots of space and many interesting people to chat to. Dog friendly, which is always a bonus as dogs are ace. Anyone who takes a goldfish to the pub is wasting their time.

Great place, looks like a good selection of Ales, but unfortunately to hot today for them just stuck to one of the lagers. Looking forward to visiting again

You can’t go wrong for beer. Landlord keeps a great pint and the price is good. Don’t go looking for gourmet food though coz it’s strictly beer and snacks. Long may it continue

First place we visited in ruddington and we should have stayed. Lovely bunch of drinkers, friendly staff and great priced drinks. Garden is nice too for those sunny days! 10/10

I guess you would call this a normal pub. Decent selection of beer and good atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Great prices for drinks nostalgia act on the minty mushy peas warm with WiFi and if you don't like peas they have sandwiches with nibbles worth a visit

This pub is not a restaurant but a very good and clean public house. They sell a wide range of beers, the atmosphere was very good and the place kept spotless. The bar staff were very efficient and helpful.
