Great that this Costa is now allowing dogs inside. The staff were very friendly, making a fuss of my dogs and giving them free treats. The manager came over and asked about our experience with the new dog policy and was extremely chatty and welcoming. More like this please Costa.

Drove round because the opening times on Google suggested it would be open. It wasn't but it was ok I went to Gregg's just across the car park. I have sent a photo of your opening times from your door to Google to update as Costa doesn't seem too bothered about doing it

Son wasn't impressed I don't know about frappe but he said it was milk and liquid. Only had small available.

Never had problem with this Costa. However my last visit disappointing. No staff to start with. No tables cleaned and wiped. We did our own. Staff didn't look bothered . Generally felt unclean and thought only guide dogs allowed in.

Really nice place and friendly staff. I have been using this Costa a lot recently and it’s a nice place to relax with a coffee.

A rainy Monday morning saw me stop here unexpectedly. Walked in to a quiet but laid back atmosphere. Greeted with a big smile and welcome by "Loren". She demonstrated excellent customer service with her attitude and friendliness. Not a dirty table in sight and toilets were clean. WiFi was a little sketchy though. Well done, a credit to Costa!

For the second Saturday in a row the place is not open on time, no one in sight, waited for a good 20 minutes after the stated opening time. Going on other reviews the running of this store is a shambles.

This is my local Costa and I often grab a Drive thru coffee on the way to work. This morning I popped into the shop and tried to buy a coffee. There were few staffs very busy around the drive thru window, and a lady (with name tag something like "Irie"), standing next to till, doing nothing, but having random chat with a guy (she's defo not serving, it was totally random chat!!) So i've been standing there for over 1 minute, waiting to be served while they enjoying their chat. At the end, she reluctantly came over to me and took my order! I was so surprised that a big franchise coffee shop like Costa, would accept their staff treat the customer like this?! Definitely wouldn't visit again!!!

The staff were most helpful. Although it was relatively busy they carried my tray to a table which needed clearing and cleaning. This was promptly done . I had a lovely time and enjoyed my cake which was a birthday treat from Costa. I can recommend the sponge cake. It was lovely and light,with a nice jam filling between the 3 layers and the lemon icing wasn't overly sweet.

Lovely place to relax and have a quick bite and a drink, before continuing our journey. Staff so very friendly and cheerful, great choice of good and drinks. Clean and fresh decor and seats and little glass cabinets for customers on the move to pop in and collect an order previously ordered in transit.

The staff manning the drive through clearly get off on making people uncomfortable when placing their orders, with silly voices and being sarcastic. Happens regularly.

The staff on the drive through are always taking the p!ss putting silly voices on, the coffee always tastes like dishwater, it’s not the same as other Costa coffees, they don’t dress the festive lattes as they do at the other costas. As someone else stated the last sandwich I had from here was crammed into the wrong packaging. I think whoever is running this costa need to take a serious look at the staff they are employing. I used to visit here a few times a week and I actually drive out my way now to go to another one! Avoid

Disgraceful service from staff that just don’t care one little bit! I have been a loyal Costa customer as my son enjoys a toasted sandwich & hot chocolate from there… not sure I will be going back! This is not the first time that the staff have just thrown the sandwich into the wrong packaging without a single thought for how the customer will be receiving it, on this occasion, the sandwich has been shoved into the wrong package and literally just forced in with a pair on tongues! It’s a square sandwich & you have square packaging that has been designed specifically for this kind of sandwich to fit into, so if it means moving two foot to get the correct packaging then do it! When I went in to complain, the staff didn’t give **** that I was not happy, they couldn’t care less!!! Horrible customer service!!!

Visit this Costa Coffee branch regularly. Great and friendly service from variety of staff. Nice selection of food and drink options. Good airy atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating. Coffee is decent for chain coffee, and tasty sandwiches and melts. Can get reduced sticker items for good value too!

Just wanted to say that the staff working the drive through are so pleasant and friendly! Today I got served by Mia who was so bubbly and upbeat which was absolutely lovely!

I absolutely love this Costa! The staff are such fun and make even ordering a coffee such a simple enjoyable experience. Special thanks to the guy who served me just now at the drive-thru; cheery, bubbly and super pleasant.

First time visit, service good but they need to get ride of the covid shields at the tills as you can't hear anything...hot chocolates and millionaire shortcake are very nice.

Costa Coffee in Edwalton it such a great place to chill. The staff are cheerful and very engaging, and always have a joke at hand, especially at the drive through, and most importantly they serve great coffee. Guys please don't change.

It's a Costa. So as expected its good. It is both a drive thru and a café. Google maps marked it as on the main road but its off on a small retail park by the side of the main A52. If coming out from Nottingham take the first exit at the roundabout, then go left at the traffic lights and then left into the retail area with Aldi in. The various car parks are a bit confusing! Don't turn left into the Aldi car park but do a right and then turn back to get into the Costa bit. That'll probably make more sense when you see it! Good wheelchair access with disabled spaces just by the entrance.

Awful condescending service at the till here. The man who served me was downright ignorant with no customer service whatsoever. No smile, just interested in getting your cash. He answered me back very abruptly when i asked him about a certain drink i was ordering too. Wont be going there again. Disgraceful.

Need to clear tables and wipe seating down

On this occasion, I was pleasantly surprised from the service. Having experienced very bad customer service there, I was a bit unsure if I should visit again, but decided to give it another go and it was fine. Not busy, so perfect for a cup a coffee and a chat.

Good range of food and drink. Very busy but was quick and efficient. Enjoyed the busy atmosphere.

Pleasantly chilled branch of the coffee chain in a small retail park - there's an Aldi supermarket and a few other small chain shops and cafes - in a somewhat out of town location - although the Edwalton housing developments are approaching. Mix of comfy seating and more upright dining tables, and a drive through lane round the back. pretty much your standard retail park Costa coffee to be honest

It can be hit and miss at this Costa, I've had some really good coffees and some burnt ones, as well as wrong orders. I have been given normal milk instead of coconut or plant based. Most of the staff are friendly, one of the guys can be nice or rude depending on the day. Inside is nice and good for meeting people. Definitely worth trying, hopefully you will catch them on a good day.

I’m a regular visitor to most Costa’s in Nottingham. Edwalton, is by far the cleanest and friendliest we go to. We are always greeted with a smile from Adrian, Daniel and Lewis. I tend to visit to do my online work so this Costa is always calm and inviting. The tables and are always cleared and cleaned to the 5 star rating they have and deserve. Would fully recommend going to Edwalton Costa for in dine or drive thru. Once again well done to the staff for making our visits always enjoyable.

Has a decent amount of space and there’s usually room to sit down which is handy when you have small children. The staff are ok but there is room for improvement. Notwithstanding that, we go regularly as it works for us.

Lots of staff changes, so I'm going to revisit. As a transwoman, I expect to be treated as any other lady. PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME 'DUCKIE'...I'll simply stop coming, put in a complaint and report a 'Hate Crime 10 months ago, this was my favourite coffee shop...it has a lot to live up to since last Christmas. Staff and cleanliness of store are lacking. They are rude, and the cleanliness is not there. Went on yesterday around 930 am to meet a friend. We were sat behind the sandwich fridge. Flies started coming out of the top of the fridge and crawling along our side, so right next to my friends face. It was disgusting and there were so many we had to move. Trays of food all over the tables and floors as they were not being collected by staff. When I mentioned to the lad working about the flies, he apologised but then said to his colleague ‘what am I supposed to do about a fly?’ and laughed it off. Coffees were cold and had to be returned. Don’t think we will be dining in here again.

I don't think this place has ever got my delivery order correct. It's usually minor things, like the wrong size drink, or forgetting a small item. I've given them other chances because I know it can get very busy. However, today was the last time I'll be ordering - of the 5 items I ordered, only 2 were received. And those 2 were also incorrect. How can you send an order out that is clearly missing loads of stuff, including the coffee?! More training is needed here - there is a real problem with attention to detail and checking orders. It's also impossible to ring Costa, which is ridiculous.

3 times I’ve paid for a shot of syrup in my coffee (via drive thru) and 3 times they’ve forgotten it. It’s so disappointing! Not impressed with the lack of care or attention, seems like more staff training is needed.

I am completely ILLITERATE and the amazing staff at this store helped me to read and understand a form I was struggling with. I ordered a coffee and sat getting quite stressed and upset as my hand writing is ABYSMAL, I felt they went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. The best coffee I’ve had from any costa and being a single straight woman it can be quite intimidating being approached by a male but they were all so kind. Whoever employed “Jake” and “Adrian” should be praised for doing such a good job! 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Acoustics are horrible, no sound depending, just a metal roof and solid walls for Al the sounds to bounce off of. As a result, I can't hear the staff. Not helped by them all wearing headphones and mics and talking to someone (drive through?) all the time, even when facing you.

Very poor experience this morning at 8am, went inside as the drive through queue was around 4 cars long. Stood for a good 5 mins before being served by a gentleman with black hair and glasses. I handed him my panini to be heated and he tossed it across the counter infront of me?? Zero respect to me as a customer, clearly the food I'm buying insulted him... To be honest I wasn't going to review however it seemed this man was the manager / supervisor and (working in retail I know the type) this one needs to be called out. I'll think twice next time going here on my morning commute.

Great Costa coffee shop off the main road. I regularly stop here for a rest break and coffee. Always enough staff on, couple of toilets, big sitting area and a good size car park. I always take my own Costa travel mug to get 2 coffee beans towards my free coffee (8 needed). So I'm buying 4 getting 1 free

Its good when open, really nice inside but past few mornings I've turned up and its been annoyingly closed, either for training or just other untold reasons. the other day was met at the door and said were opening at 8, with no explanation why. so yeah a little annoying

First time here today. Nice pie with cream and hot chocolate. Handy for Aldi close by, but difficult to find path for pedestrians. Good staff and beautiful setting. The windows badly need blinds, as today's sun 😎 had his hat off and was blinding customers through the big windows. This is more irritating than it sounds, so please do sthg about this.

I had difficulty understanding the person who served me, the staff where ok, I ordered a decaff coffee and got ordinary, toilets are a nightmare, there was only one, fortunately it was for disabled but not very clean as everyone had to use it, this was the first time I have used one of these coffee bars and it will be along time before I use another, very poor

Really disappointed.... Asked for an extra hot purple latte got a tepid one and my husband's was Luke warm too..... ..my children's frostinos were flavourless couldn't taste the salted caramel.....I purchased four drinks and wasn't offered a cup holder had to ask for one as I shouldn't really expect my 12 year old son to hold two of the hot drinks....Also had no cream or chocolate on top of the purple one lattes ....this is my 4th visit there and every time I've been there they've bothered to mess the orders up with their can't be bothered attitude....I've tried calling head office today 16th December 2021 but their lines were down too.... Edwalton Costa you need to get it sorted out you should listen to the customer rather than trying to rush and mess up the orders ...looking at other reviews most people have had a similar experience....I won't be visiting this one again and I'll still phone head office again tomorrow as you really need to up your game!!!!!!

Such a beautiful I would say the most beautiful Costa I've been into. The decor was stunning and the cakes ❤ well they just looked amazing. The staff where so helpful and lovely and the coffee as always from Costa was wonderful

Lovely big store always clean and plenty of space to sit and relax. The staff are really friendly and helpful and service is quick weather using the drive through or in store. Lovely range of food all displayed and lots of options re drinks with variety if milks and variety of foods for my intolerances. Special thanks to Maria and Daniel who have been really helpful when needed and always service with a smile x

Use the drive thru regularly and can honestly say they have the friendliest team compared to other Costa's nearby. They upsell well without being pushy, they are informative and quick to action. I'd be pretty proud if I was their manager, as other Costas I've been to don't compare.

Lovely store, clean and tidy with good lighting. Generous amount of parking spaces. Drive thru available. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is piping hot and the coffee is hot and well blended. I love the decor of this place, very well thought out.

I visited ordered from inside after following all Covid rules. I gave my ordered stood waiting 10 mins. 5 people serving! It seemed only drive through is a priority! I enquired into my order they forgot. No leadership very very poor service !

Woke up in a horrid mood, rubbish night's sleep and a morning full of meetings at work. Thought I'd treat myself to a Costa and I'm so glad I did! The service, speed and general friendliness of the staff put me in such a great mood. Good service is so hard to come by these days and the service made a bigger impact to my day than the coffee itself! Top work to the Edwalton Costa team!

Apart from an overly officious staff member taking our order who was incredibly brisk, verging on rude, the coffee was as you’d expect from Costa, the new location is very well done and the chap making the coffee was very friendly and helpful.
