All I can say is WOW. We booked this accommodation for the facilities mainly. Arriving early we was able to check in and use facilities. Lunch was delicious after a spa dip. Staff extremely attebtive in both reception & restaurant bar. Bed was amazing! We had King Superior Room and it was fabulous supper comfy! Coming home very happy & relaxed! 100% will stay again when in Nottingham!

Have used the restaurant several times. Good selection of food, decent portions and reasonable price. Would highly recommend the Sunday roast and the soups have never disappointed. Friendly helpful staff. Would come again. Ample parking.

My son and I stayed here on a Monday night. Booked through booking.com and were allocated room number 1 on arrival. If you are given this room, ask for to be changed. Anyone that comes up via the stairs instead of the lift, opens the door to the hall, which causes the door of number 1 to bang. The room had only 1 bed which was comfy but that is the only good thing about the room. The room smells damp & fusty. Electric heater under the window which makes room smell worse. Window opened to rid of smell but as it is at front of the hotel, the main road never stops all night! So lots of traffic noise. Good clean shower but water not warm and had to dry myself with a hand towel as no bigger towels! Seriously? Ventured down to the pool but there were 5 people in it already and it was tiny and my son didn't fancy it. Gym looked OK if a bit out of date. We had our evening meal there and although the steak and burger were both quite good, there wasn't much choice. Also £25 for a sirloin steak isn't cheap with sides extra. The hotel is in a good location if you want to walk to the town or the river and see the homeless set up in their tents alongside the river bank sadly. Staff weren't very friendly and didn't explain or promote breakfast offering, times or even the WiFi code.

Room No 27. Very small. No shelves or cupboards in the bathroom or small bedroom. Had to put everything on the floor. Net curtains dirty. View from window was disgusting! Had to go out and buy teaspoons because only sticks provided. No glass in the bathroom. Comfortable beds and lovely staff. Have sent a PM on Facebook and also emailed and asked to be forwarded to manager. Haven’t heard anything!!!

The room wasn't very comfortable and I wouldn't class it as a 4 star to be honest. Toiletries were rationed and the bed wasn't comfortable. The room was also up so many stairs, which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues Mould all over the windows and such a warm room. Makes no sense to have the radiators full blast but yet have the windows open? The spa and bar was fine, think is what brings the hotel up to 4 star to be honest. Reception staff could do with some customer service training, the brunette lady didn't once wish us well to enjoy our stay nor ask how it was when we checked out, otherwise we would have highlighted these issues at check out. I've worked in hospitality for 15 years and I just felt the experience was poor for a 4 star if I'm honest. Quite close to city centre and the spa is the only thing going for this place, we may have just been unlucky with a cheap room but I wouldn't have paid nearly £100 for a poor night's sleep and not enough loo roll.

Booked for Sunday lunch and it was excellent. The desserts are a bit pricey but that's to be expected as all food has increased.

Nice atmosphere in the bar area with the jazz music in the day. The coffee is nice 👍 Also a nice relaxed atmosphere in the evening with more vibrant upbeat music.

We hired the upstairs room for a special occasion and wow! We received outstanding service in all area's from the Gilt team, they couldn't do enough for us. Communication via email with Frankie prior to the day was excellent. The allocated team of Jack and Lucy gave a friendly welcome to all our 20 guests, a fast and efficient service was given with all meals, advice and reassurance was there when needed. The evening was a huge success and we highly recommend their venue. Thank you to the 'Gilt Team'.

A heart warming thank you to the staff at Costa today! My daughter had been good and deserved a treat, upon asking her what she wanted, as usual she requested Marshmallows from Costa. The staff at the drive through wouldn’t accept my money and gave them to my daughter for free. Little things like this really mean a big deal, thank you guys! 🙂

Recently having moved to West bridgford, the Cote breakfast offer had been highly reccommended to us. We visited on a Wednesday morning and the vibe was perfect. Instantly greeted with genuine smiles and looked after impeccably throughout, by our waitress Fanni. The breakfast was piping hot and had a nice French twist. The manager was extremely friendly too, adding to the wonderful atmosphere. We didn't make a reservation but were advised over the weekends and in the run up to Christmas it is definitely advisable! 10/10 will be back to try the French toast stakes! Thanks to all for a lovely morning.
