Okay, so I've been a returning customer here for some time. Im not sure how this place is rated so highly by customers. The quality of the chips, fish and sausage is really bad. I've been ill from the fish twice before. Sometimes i get wraps/kebabs and the chicken meat is dry sometimes undercooked too. If this place really wanted to up its game, then its time to improve on the quality of your food supplies. The prices being charged are not justified by the food you are serving. The owners are lovely people but its about time to really invest into your business and customers.

Placed my order for fish and waited for it to be cooked. Another customer came in to the shop several minutes later to pick up there order. They had forgotten to put a fish on there order and we’re given one of mine . Had to then wait for another piece of fish to be cooked . No apology or explanation. After the long wait and poor service the food was also awful. Better to drive to ruddington fish bar and get a decent meal . The food from keyworth was inedible. AVOID.

Thank you to the very kind owner who gave us an extra portion of chips as I couldn't have the 1 my husband got as it had malt vinegar on it. You're very kind. Best chips in town.!!

Good fish and chips but grossly expensive. £9.80 for fish chips and a little pot of curry sauce!! Electronic menu quoted a lesser price for things like sauce than is programmed into the till That's a rip-off!.

OK value but way behind the quality of the likes of Georges tradition, also in dire need of a refit, tired low quality fit out and a wall mounted fish tank thats full of algae - hardly inspires confidence in the cleanliness of this joint. Fish batter is too thick and overcooked. Could be so much better.

My family and I use this chip shop all the time but lately I've been getting less and less chips everytime I go! On Friday I bought a large chips, I wish I realised how small they were before I got home so I could have complained. I'll be thinking twice before going back.... Such a shame because the staff are friendly, just tight with chips!

No complaints from us. Staff here were happy to accommodate fussy orders. Very friendly and great quality fish and chips.

The loud lady who works at the chip shop who only hears herself, didn't hear me when I asked for sauce separately In pots, once I said I didn't ask for the sauce to be put on my food she blatantly sighed and said I would have to chose one or the other of the sauces which had never been an issue before. Poor customer service won't be using them again.

Best fish & chips in Keyworth by a mile.

You can get a very decent portion of fish and chips here. Quite a generous portion too... They also have lots of kiddy meals with smaller portions for the young one. They had crayons and all sorts to keep the lil ones happy. Order was also quite quick and nice and friendly staff greeted me as I walked in.

We have had our ups and downs with this place. Being served the wrong food on one occasion for example. However it doesnt disgard the fact that it serves pretty tasty food, both and lunch and in the evening. Also with a speedy service.

GREAT!!!! Fish and chips a must, and the kebabs fantastic, great portions not scrimping or measuring out the quantities just an honest amount and all freshly cooked. Service is with a smile and everything is clean and tidy...well worth a visit :)

I have eaten fish & chips all over the country and the best are in my village Keyworth fish bar & the staff are the best the place is so clean i look forward to my saturday nights fish supper with my lovely wife

Nickys chips are the best in town im fussy when it comes to fried food but i would always reccoumend keyworth fish bar. The staff are very freindly they keep the place very clean and alway do a great job on keeping up a ecellent service. "The best chips in town"
