Extremely busy but managed to get a table for 5 adults and 5 children. Ordered food for all and it was served promptly. Great stuff.

Nice restaurant good food and drinks.

Had a lovely time met up with friends as we were on a 50th weekend and this was the meeting point. Food was absolutely lovely 😍 and had a brilliant atmosphere we could off stayed all afternoon but needed to go book in to our hotel

Went in Tuesday old rosie cider was on lovely went next day it was off staff member very stern looking said we have none, I simply asked her if she could check in the back to see if they'd another box she said no we haven't even though next day it was back on, she just couldn't be bothered to get another 20ltr box and put it on, so much for wetherspoons staff going the extra mile for their customers. Other than that great place to sit and relax.

Nice to look out over the sea. Staff pleasant but need to be more effective at clearing tables. Never walk back to the bar empty handed and you solve the problem

Wetherspoons. Blackpool sea front. This place is all things to all men, women, children, gypsies, dogs, seagulls, etc they have at least one bar of each of its 4 floors and it's a pleasant place to sit and watch the world

Great food for the price.i was served fast and the food arrived quickly. The only bad thing was the mens toilets were very dirty!

Ordered on app. After waiting 15 mins for drinks the barman was spoken too, bad attitude. Took another 9 mins for both drinks to finally arrive. The 2nd drink came in a pint glass that was then also dirty. Also delivered with a thud on the table....great service.....

Turned up for a drink with our 3 dogs but was told they didn't allow dogs in the beer garden, although there was already multiple dogs sat in the garden. Poor show really.

This place could do with a full clean table were wipe but still sticky to the touch chairs are stained

I've recently moved to Blackpool and for the first time, my family were visiting me up here. As my brother has a beautiful retriever puppy we needed somewhere that was dog friendly, so we called around a couple of places so we could decide where to get breakfast the day he was due to go home. The person who answered advised that it would be okay for the dog to come in, and my brother took extra precautions such as selecting a table right in the corner of the restaurant, having the dog on a short lead and bringing a small blanket the dog could lie down on whilst we ate. We ordered our food and as it was delivered, (we'd been there about 20 minutes or more at this point), the waitress said dogs weren't allowed and one of us would have to leave, with the dog. We advised that we'd been told the dog could come In and that we'd specifically made sure before hand that it was okay to do so. The waitress took away the plate of my brother's food and served it to him in a small paper box (bearing in mind it's pouring down with rain as well), and said he needs to leave. We then spoke with the manager who followed up what the waitress said and said he needs to leave, completely ignoring the fact that his restaurant was only getting our money and custom because one of his employees had told us that it was fine to go in. As me and my brother placed separate orders for our food, they only refunded one of us, and so I was forced to sit in the restaurant and eat (they messed up my order too, how hard is it to remember to add toast to a fry up?) whilst my brother was told to leave with a cardboard box of now cold food, into the pouring rain with his dog, who had been completely silent and perfectly behaved the entire time, so much so that they didn't notice for 20+ minutes she was even there. I understand the policy about dogs, the guy on the phone was wrong, but you punished us for your mistake, you ruined the time I had with my brother, whom I see very rarely, who struggles with a severe illness that can be exacerbated by stressful situations. I will never go back to a Wetherspoons anywhere in the country for how poorly you handled this entire situation. You should have let us stay, we already had food, the dog was silent and completely out of the way in the corner of the restaurant.no one had complained, no one even knew we were there. I would focus on making sure you didn't screw up a fry up and make sure your staff are actually trained to take a phone call. Disgraceful from all of you

Chicken burger was nice, but only served with minimal salad on the burger and 10 chips. Definitely not worth £10. Staff was rude to my family. The manager apologised, but I won't be returning.

Had to send mine back it was cold. No fuss returned warm.

Went to weatherspoons for breakfast, my brother in law was in town with his very well behaved dog, we had rung up the night previous to make sure that they allowed dogs in weatherspoons and got told it would be fine, so we went to weatherspoons with the dog and sat on a corner table , the dog had her own blanket so wasnt even sat on the floor of the place, ordered our food and paid for it, noone said anything, when our food arrived we was met with attitude about the dog being there, saying we couldn't stay due to the dog, we had stated we was told it was fine over the phone and was met with well that's not the policy and the person over the phone would of said that which they very clearly didn't. my brother in law ended up with asked for a refund and having to leave on the very last day of his holiday which ruined the day for us all. We used to love weatherspoons but we wouldn't of gone there and spent money on food if they had told us the right information in the first place.

Popped in for a quick family dinner after visiting the water park. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to fussy children making sure all additional needs were met and that everyone enjoyed themselves. Even bringing over an extra table when we ordered a little too much food. Food wait time wasn't long at all which was excellent especially when the restaurant looked busy. Beautiful decor and exciting views, would come again if in the area.

Visited here with my grandchildren Mon 14th April. Extremely busy and no pizzas because of this I believe. Greg however was fantastic. Nothing too much trouble. An asset to your business.

Beer good, food cold to room temperature, at the price though, still decent value, so can't complain too much.

Menu was good, cheap food, good service, 3 levels to sit, clean toilets, order from table, dies get busy as where it's situated overall a lovely pub to sit and eat at with a good view from the balcony.

Food was great with great service and an amazing sea view.

El servicio fue absolutamente impactante, pedimos comida y bebidas, las bebidas llegaron en pocos minutos, media hora después todavía estábamos esperando la comida. No está tan ocupado ahora, así que no era como si estuvieran demasiado ocupados. Al recibir nuestras comidas estaban absolutamente congelados, pero como habíamos viajado desde Glasgow teníamos demasiada hambre para no comerlo. Velvet coaster solía ser un restaurante familiar muy agradable con comida encantadora, no sé qué ha pasado este año, pero como resultado de nuestra experiencia no volveremos.

Our breakfast ,midday and end of night meeting point for our trip,standard weatherspoon but perfect location fr us.breakfast was no nonsense full fry and hit the spot after day/night of booze,only one complaint was the toast n beans which was originally toast that gt buried in a sea of watery tasteless beans,toast nw soggy bread.decent selection of lager/beers and on a windy day was nice and sheltered out on beer garden,full sun all day and located NXT to pleasure beach and a casino Fr the end of night throwing away of money. All in all a decent boozer .

A large pub with a bar upstairs and a narrow balcony overlooking the front with great views of the beach and sea. Service was a bit hit and miss, I was invisible at the bar, everyone was served around me, but the staff serving the food were plentiful and were constantly walking round clearing empty glasses and dishes, well we were sat outside and it was sunny, so..... Food was the same as all the other Weatherspoons pubs, good quality for the price. I had a small fish and chips and although the fish did look v small, it was enough. My partner had the chilli non-carne ie. A vegetarian version, and he enjoyed it. Toilets are also upstairs and there's a lift for anyone struggling with the stairs.

My meal wasn’t very good, but listen to this. I’m not sure what they’d do e to the chicken but it was weird and hard. I went to show the chefs at the kitchen range. They were brilliant- they offered a replacement, I didn’t want anything else to eat. They gave me and my friend another drink (a large one!) they then refunded the cost with a smile. The staff were very helpful and sorry that it wasn’t up to standard. Great response from the team and the money was back in my bank within 36 hours! As usual great bustling atmosphere and always clean. A gem on the prom of South Shore!

Great place and not too expensive fast delivery, recommend you order by the app so you see what's off the menu.

So for a 'spoons', service was good and efficient, beer (Ruddles) was well kept, pub, given how large it was, was kept clean and tidy. Handy for the pleasure beach and the south railway station. Will happily return. Well done to the team 🍻👏🏻

Have been working in Blackpool the last 5 weeks and have visited regularly. Food is great but what really stands out is the customer service. Some of the longer term staff are amazing, always make time for a quick chat and even warm the coffee cups. The pub is immaculately clean, I had a quick chat with one of the cleaners and she was clearly very proud. She insisted it was a team effort but she was working very hard. It is not easy to keep a busy Blackpool pub up to this standard.

I visted the velvet coster on 2 separate occassions and the drink is cheap and the staff are friendly. I couldnt believe they sell Bells whiskey with mixer for only £1.79. The Korean chicken was lovely

We’re on the eve of the Spring Beer Festival ‘25 with most cask ales reduced to £1.99. Great service and a superb pint of Bateman’s Loopy Loo. Ground floor & bar only open midweek out of season; the only chance you get to go upstairs is to visit the toilets.

Cheap and cheerful with great views over the South Pier and very friendly staff.

We have only a few selective menus that suit our palettes but always satisfied with the food,price including soft drinks comes to £11 ish and with alcohol is 14 ish I believe.hot drinks we can top up with self service. Until 1am it's open so we can dine later and staffs are friendly aswell. There is no pressure to leave the place after we dine.i noticed that a family was playing cards and some were doing online work.so perfect place for holiday dinner

This is without doubt the best "Spoons" pub. You have great views looking out over the Irish sea. But one thing that made it for the me was how friendly and polite the staff were.

A very large Wetherspoons with three floors along the seafront. Nice wood fires alight on the ground floor. The food was typical Wetherspoons, but well cooked and served piping hot, it was very reasonably priced, and service was quick. We went there two nights running as there weren't many more places open which appealed to us, but we were more than happy there. We would return if in Blackpool.

Came here for a few drinks. Lovely place ! Nice and clean and nice tables and seating. Staff great ! Always tidying up and cleaning. Toilets really clean too ! Only trouble is we did find parking hard but that’s not the pubs problem. Great place and fab Loch Lomond beer! 🍺 great choice of drinks at very good prices. We are Wetherspoon fans.

Brilliant pub. 3 floors. Balcony with sea views on 1st floor and sun deck on top floor. Great for watching sunsets over the sea. 2 wood burning fires on ground floor. Lift to all floors, so really accessible for everyone.

Never been to this one of the franchise but I was really happy and comfortable. Suffering from anxiety i felt a general good vibe. And the breakfast was lovely.

My first visit to the Velvet Coaster. I was very pleasantly surprised….the building has large open spaces with unique decor, and a nice friendly atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly too. Just had drinks there, but I am looking forward to revisiting in the summer to take advantage of the upper balcony.

If you like a Spoons you'll love this place. Best Spoons I've been to in my opinion Great setting on the seafront, modern fitout and super outdoor seating for sunny days I'm not sure why anyone would drink in a pub nearby tbf

Average Wetherspoons. Tables on a whole very dirty, food so so, service alright. Lovely view of the sunset though and some decent beers.

Probably the best place to go grab a bite and a drink in Blackpool. Always make a visit when I'm in town. Good food & drink options and a great atmosphere.

Food was ok service was let down Reported coffee machine was not working very well and not making drink we (3 people) wanted and lady came over and said we pressing wrong button. Hmm all 3 us pressing wrong button when we know we pressed right one she then shrugged shoulders walked away. We then went to other one and it had no milk in. So food was only good part palace was good and clean but service not so good.

Food portions have reduced massively in recent years with prices going up.

Ordering by phone is confusing because of the page layout and too many similar names. Ended up ordering a no chicken Korean Chicken Bowl because of the way they are listed and the layout. Paid, realised the error and there is nothing I can do to change it. I order 3 main courses and a desert (brownie topped with ice-cream). The waiter brought the mains and the desert all at the same time. Imagine seeing that ice-cream melting while eating the main. Food is not as good as last year. Good options like sea bass sre gone and all options are between £9 and £13.
