Amazing place in Blackpool for food

Last min walk in as the sun was setting. The team were very accommodating. Thanks to James L for looking after me. Dining solo can often feel lonely but the atmosphere was warm and welcoming!

Having booked in weeks earlier we were looking forward to visiting as it had been a while since our last. We was shown to our table and it was overly busy and we sat looking at the menu. After approx 15 minutes passed as various hosts walked passed us we still haven’t even been ask if we want a drink. At this point we decided to leave. I told the front of house why we was leaving and she just said sorry which I found a little strange. We still had a great night elsewhere but it really annoyed me. Customer service was poor. The restaurant and food looked good but without good customer service this is pointless. As we left another couple left also. I did leave it 48 hours before writing this review as I would have thought a follow up call would have been a decent thing to do, clearly my business isn’t that important and to be honest that’s how it felt.

This is definitely the best place to eat and drink in Blackpool. We visited last Thursday and it was the waiter’s first day ( sorry I can’t remember your name) . He was a natural and an asset to the team. The food was as delicious as ever and the experience was enhanced with the beautiful sunset and VE celebrations on the promenade outside. Many thanks Liz

Just an add on comment. Beach House now has a time limit of one and a half hours. Very precious of them!? Some of us like to eat slowly, enjoy the food. Naughty of you.

Turned up at 6.45pm asked for a table inside told no tables inside, so had to sit outside, ordered 2 pornstar martinis for £24 and a pepperoni pizza £18, cocktails were very good, pizza came out after about 35mins from ordering, all the while loads of tables inside empty, had drunk our cocktails way before food arrived, no cutlery given had to ask for napkins to wipe our hands from eating the pizza, to be honest the pizza was crap not worth £18 not a lot of toppings and massive crust, now in weatherspoons ordering food as still hungry £45 for 2 drinks and a pizza, wont be going back anytime soon.

Was asked if I wanted food, which I said I did. After being seated I was not given a food menu. I ordered a drink and asked for the food menu, I was informed it was still being printed and would be 10 minutes. I never received a menu and decided to leave. When asking to pay I was informed the menu was now available, but they only had 10. Some businesses don’t deserve to survive due to their poor service and shambolic organisation - this is a prime example. Overpriced and shocking service. Don’t bother is my recommendation

Best place in blackpool. We visit her at least twice a year. It's our happy place. Sam is amazing as is her team. The atmosphere is fantastic can't wait to go back in may and then June for my birthday. Spent my last 6 birthdays in beach house and hopefully many more.

Awful service! Awful staff! If I could give zero stars I would!!!

Me and family went in person to book at table for lunch time 12 o’clock at the beach house. When we return a door man was stood at the door and refused us entry. We were explained we had a booking but because I had gray joggers we wasn’t allow in. The people standing in front of us all had jogger on. We obviously question this and there was a back and fourth. The lady originally booked with let us in. As we walked in the door man shouted out there was a no hat policy too. The door man himself was wearing a hat also every male man already in the beach house. We wasn’t told there was a dress code and there was a tone of people wearing joggers and a hat already inside. The door man was very rude and demanded I take my hat off. We spoke to the staff and they had nothing to say so we left. I’m sure the food taste good, but I wouldnt know. But the staff are horrendous. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re of colour.

A little expensive for Blackpool, but well worth it. Great service, super environment and fantastic food. We loved it.

We had an amazing family meal at the Beach House in Blackpool! I came with my wife and two kids, and everything from the service to the food was fantastic. I had the grilled octopus, which was cooked perfectly and came with a delicious garlic and paprika oil – one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. My wife had the king prawns, which were fresh and full of flavour, and the kids were really happy with their pizza and chicken. A perfect spot for both great food and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The beach house was really nice. we popped in during our walk down the promenade very scenic views. Really clean and tidy and the staff were very polite and helpful. Next time we are in Blackpool we are going to come here for some food as everyone's food looked absolutely delicious, as we had plans we didn't have time to eat here on this occasion.

The food was dry and overcooke. Exspecially the side broccoli hard and dry , chicken tender dry and over cooked. Their menu dishes almost all is dry , oily and fried. Not a healthy foods . Highly not recommended 👎🏻

We came for a drink at 7pm on a Thursday night. Half the restaurant was full and there were 23 empty tables outside. The waitress refused to allow us in and claimed to be be full. Awful service !!

13..pounds for a glass of wine .Just isn't acceptable. It's too much . At least I'd expect to be explained the Wines on offer.....ie a drinks Menu . It's a beautiful place.... I may try again but I'll read the drinks Menu first . I didn't Dine .... it looked nice ..again check through the prices . ALSO Service Charge is not OK in my brain.

Lovely place, especially in the sunshine, but adding a 7% service charge on (just drinks) is out of order, when we had to call the waiting staff over to get the drink in the first place as its table service only!! We only knew as we queried the bill!! Surely service charge is optional IF you get good service and choose to pay it!! We would never have known if we hadn’t queried the bill!! Beachhouse, please check before you automatically add it on! From Blackpool residents!!

Only went for drinks but they were delicious. My husband had hot chocolate (the smoothest, creamiest I've ever tasted) and I had an iced caramel latte and the coffee was gorgeous. Staff very friendly and attentive, table service was very handy as we had a baby with us. Decor and sea views are out of this world. Very peaceful spot and we would definitely come again.

Beautiful location near the sea with lovely views, watching the sunset. Service however, not great. Took a while for someone to come round asking if we would like a drink then some confusion over ordering just a simple jug or bottle of water, enough for 4 people, not one small bottle which they brought over. The olives and starters arrived which were nice but then waited a hour for the mains to be served and eventually had to ask where they were. Another negative was the music being too loud for an eating establishment. Staff not very attentive and just seemed and looked disinterested, didn't come over to see if our food was okay, didn't come over to see if we wanted another drink. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend this place and won't be eating here again.

Amazing food, amazing staff great atmosphere if you haven’t been here before you need to go it really is that good? My wife and I went tonight on the 5th of April. Watch the sunset from our table really was a great night. Thank you to all involved.

A great meal in great location, had our meal whilst watching the sun set. Menu had some great choices some of which you don't see very often. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was well prepared looked and tasted amazing. Will be definitely returning on our next visit to Blackpool.

I had Mules frites, which I’ve eaten many many times elsewhere. Today the mussels were overcooked (like rubber) the fries were burned, the crusty bread never arrived and the liqueur was vinegary and disgusting. How can you get it so wrong it must be the easiest dish to prepare. I’ve eaten at Beach House on many occasions but never will I again. To cap it all I asked for the bill and waited, they weren’t busy, for ten minutes it only then came when I stood and put on my coat.

We had a fantastic meal, the food was delicious. We had sea bass, it just melted in your mouth and a Cesar Salad with Parmesan and truffle fries that tasted so good. Staff were attentive and very polite. The venue itself is a place I’ve walked by so many times and never really thought of going in but an off chance of a concert at winter gardens and decided to book. It was the most glorious day and the view as the sun was setting could’ve been any beach and sea view in the world. The only downside was the sun was very bright and blazing hot. I originally sat facing the view and sun, I had to wear sun glasses because the glare was extremely bright but due to being a lady of a certain age it all became a bit to much for sweaty old me and had to swap places. The restaurant was full so didn’t ask to be moved. Another little minus point and only because we can’t stand anything with a bass beat was the music… we thought at times it didn’t quite fit with the ambience and aesthetics of the whole place.

I adore the beach house environment. It is such a beautiful venue that i will always come back. But unfortunately the food has always been not up to the standard of the venue. I find, the food is very average and whoever i have gone with over the years also has the same opinion. You definitely go to the beachhouse for the environment, not for the food. It could be oh so magical if the food matched the venue!

Had tapas and a few drinks, food was excellent and service good. Just a shame they were not able to do a couple of the cocktails off the menu due to staff training. Will come back!

Went with a friend and booked with Quandoo. Service was 1st class and staff excellent. I had the pea starter, didn’t know what to expect, it was absolutely delicious. My friend had a seafood starter and said was very tasty and delicious. We both had the fish and chips (massive fish) and again was delicious. We both had alcohol drinks. We sat near a window towards the sea, an idyllic position. We were there about 2pm. We could not fault the service or food, both were excellent. I can honestly say from the time we entered to the time we left everything was to perfection, i had suggested this place to go and was not disappointed one bit. I will definitely be going again and do recommend the Beach House. Someone will say it’s a bit pricey but we didn’t think so, our philosophy is you pay for what you get and here was well worth every penny, we even made the gratuity more because it was well deserved.

Great place to visit on the promenade in Blackpool, excellent location for the North Pier and Blackpool Tower, very busy so plan well ahead, lots of choice for drinks and food at reasonable prices, fast and friendly service, definitely on the list for a repeat visit 👍

Visited with family. Was considering the lobster but the menu had been updated and the price had increased by £20 to £85. Tried the fish and chips. The batter was overcooked and some of the chips were hard and green inside. Daughter had the chicken tenders and they were overcooked and burnt. Ordered a mojito which was nice but over time the cinnamon flavoured dried orange slice was all I could taste even though I removed it. The service was quick but nobody returned to the table to check our food was ok. If they had we would have sent the tenders back. Great setting, nice ambiance and fantastic views.

Best fish n chips ever! Huge portions and superbly cooked. Service was smooth, friendly and fast. Definitely recommended.

**Extremely Disappointing Experience – Zero Stars If Possible** Our experience at this restaurant was incredibly frustrating, and I wish I could give it zero stars. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Phil, who asked if there were any available tables. A waitstaff member then escorted us to our table. After we sat down, someone came over to check if we were ready to order. We politely requested more time, which was understandable given it was only 8:42 p.m. and we just wanted a quick snack before catching our train. We ordered three drinks and a pizza to share. However, as we waited, we felt increasingly uncomfortable due to the hostile stares from the staff. It was clear that we were not welcomed. Things took a turn for the worse when I asked for the service charge to be removed due to the poor service. Suddenly, the attitude of the staff became even more unpleasant and dismissive. The only redeeming part of our visit was Phil, the doorman, who was kind and genuinely helpful. It's unfortunate that the rest of the staff didn’t show the same level of professionalism. To make matters worse, when we returned home and reviewed our receipt, we discovered several items on the bill that we didn’t order. One of our parties tried contacting the restaurant by both phone and email to resolve the issue but received no response. While we acknowledge that we should have double-checked the bill, the hostility from the staff made us just want to leave without any further confrontation. What’s even more concerning is that the bill was timestamped at 7:00 p.m., despite our arrival at 8:42 p.m. Our pizza arrived at 9:24 p.m. The bill also incorrectly labelled us as “food critics,” which we certainly are not, and included items we never ordered. The total on the bill was £72, even though we had only ordered a hot sunset pizza and three drinks (a mojito, strawberry daiquiri, and piña colada) totalling £47.50. When we tried to leave, we were stopped twice and then chased out of the restaurant, with accusations that we hadn’t paid. We have our bank statement, which shows otherwise! This behaviour was beyond unprofessional and completely unacceptable. We strongly advise against visiting this place. We’re now seeking a refund of £24.50 for the incorrect charges. To charge customers for items they didn’t consume and then treat them like criminals is not only dishonest but also unethical. **PATRONS BEWARE!** **UPDATE: 10/03/2025 The General Manager, Mr J A Smith, has responded to the email sent. In the email, there is an apology for how we were treated with the assurance that this is not the standard set. As per the email, we are currently awaiting a phone call from the 'front of house team' to refund the overcharged amount. Will update again once the refund is received. While this does not make our visit any less traumatic, we appreciate GM addressing the issues at hand and correcting what he could.

Very disappointed to be seated in the bar area with no view despite booking in the restaurant. On arrival our table was not ready & a hasty group of tables were offered which were unsuitable for our group of 10. The music was head splittingly loud & more in line with a night club than a restaurant. The food was good but not great.

Visited on a lovely sunny day for a friends hen day/night. We arrived around 45 minutes early and we were kindly seated early. Amazing view of the beach and promenade. Staff were very young and inexperienced with little conversation and manners. Drinks were not great (flat ashahi). Food ok but the pizza dough was chewy and the chicken was burnt. My favourite dish was the side salad which says a lot. We left hungry and didn’t stay for dessert as around five members of staff were sat at the bar eating lunch in front of us which I thought was very unprofessional. I work in hospitality and wanted to visit here for ages but overall the experience was very disappointing.

Lovely place however really need to sort out their seating system. There was plenty of free tables free outside, no one was at the front desk to seat us and as only having drinks we went to sit at a free table outside. There was no other customers who were obviously waiting. After 10 minutes of waiting to be served, we were asked if we could wait inside by the bar as people were waiting for tables outside. A lovely couple however offered us 2 seats to sit with them as they were already seated at another table. On top of that we waited 15 minutes before finally getting someone to order drinks. We were there for approximately an hour and a half and during all that time nobody came to sit at the table we’d been moved from, and there were at least another 4 free tables that remained empty for the whole time, so why we had been moved is beyond me. I only saw two other lots of customers being brought over to any tables outside. Had we not been offered to join the couple of lovely lads we sat with, we would have left as I had no intention of sitting propping up a bar, and I noticed another family also being told to wait at the bar, who then left altogether. The position of the bistro , is partly why it is so popular, as they have no competition along that stretch on that side of the promenade. I have been several times and there has always been an issue with service ( although the food is really nice) someone needs to sort this, but maybe they don’t mind as they have a captive audience. A few nice bars even temporarily set up on the headlands during summer would be a great addition, and give this place a shake up.

Very out of keeping for Blackpool and far too trendy for the rest of the area which is pretty dire in all fairness. However this is very nice (although slightly on the pricey side) however very nice surroundings, good drinks choice, food choice but £22 for a pizza is quite on the high side in all fairness even if it was very tasty.

Best burger I’ve had since moving back to the UK after 40 years in the USA! High quality beef perfectly seasoned!!

This place was dreamy. The view was adorable and the decoration was authentic. We really enjoyed our time there and the food was beyond incredible. The starters were gorgeous, we had arancini, mussels and calamari which were so fresh and flavorful. The main food was tatsy as well. I really enjoyed the prawns tapas with a cheesy garlic bread which matched perfectly. My friend had a chiken bara bara which I loved, it tasted like heaven, it was so creamy and tender. The coffee were nice and enjoyable. Everything aced the experience, just some of the staff weren't really welcoming smiley. Definitely ine to visit though.

The Beach House is a not so hidden gem! Right next to Blackpool Tower and the big gold building on the front. we had a fabulous lunch with spectacular views across the Irish Sea. Food was really great and really tasty (fab Spanish/Italian/English menu) as was the service (Samantha our waitress was excellent). Dog friendly too. Highly highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing meal! The lobster and Tomahawk were delicious. The staff were outstanding and the restaurant is beautifully designed with funky music playing to keep the atmosphere. Will definitely return and recommend.

Incredible fresh fish dinner to share. Perfectly cooked veg and fish. The green and red peppers were perfect, as were the potatoes and broccoli. The fish was amazing. Ask to see it beforehand and they will be happy to show. The Sancerre was a little pricey but was delicious and complimented the fish perfectly. Highly recommend and excellent food. 5 stars.

This venue is a delightful way to enjoy an afternoon. It is quite pricey but well worth it.

Fantastic evening before we all went to the panto. 8 of us enjoyed our meals and we were looked after so well. Love this place. Would be great if they could put a floodlight out into the sea so we could see the setting brilliantly at night.

The Beach House has a modern decor with panoramic views across the Irish sea. We were seated in the restaurant after making an online booking. We arrived at 2pm and were greeted by friendly staff and shown straight to out table. Service is slick. The food came in an appropriate amount of time and was delightful. We didn't order wine because we felt the prices were too high for the quality of the wine A glass of house wine is £9. A pint of Beer £6.60. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this as a place to go any time of the day.

WARNING: THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I enjoyed an okay but rather expensive meal here a few months ago with strange service from an overly familiar waiter with filthy fingernails. I decided to give the place another go on a recent business trip to see whether we should recommend it to our few hundred guests at an event being organised nearby. The answer: absolutely not! Unfortunately due to my colleague's illness I was forced to cancel a booking for dinner 6 hours in advance and they charged THIRTY POUNDS to my card! They were called up about this ridiculously opportunistic charge and said they would refund it. They didn't. Subsequent contact has been ignored. The owners can rest assured I will be getting my money back one way or another but for now, I warn people to stay away. Update: I did get my money back, or at least the value to £30, though they don't know how. 😜

Last night was our second visit here for my good lady’s birthday meal, the food is fantastic, the service is second to none and you’re maid to feel at home, last night we met and chatted to the late Bobby Ball’s wife who was sat at the next table to us, a really nice lady and Bobby was a comedy legend. We came as a family of 5, we came here as usually we have no problems, however this time was far different. After being sat, it took 28 minutes for us to get a drink and then a further 15 minutes to even order food. The starters came and they were nice apart from the bread that was served with the king prawns (this was burnt) we asked for more off 2 people, eventually it came. We then had mains - however we had to get up and ask for more cutlery so we could eat, one of our mains was cold. We would have complained however we didn’t have a check back and we had already had enough of having to ask staff for stuff (drinks we had ordered but then never came twice) The other food was just ok. By this point we had enough so asked for the bill, upon receiving this they had tried to charge us for the extra bread we had because of the first lot being burnt. A glass of wine which was advertised at £13 a glass then tried charging us £18 for the glass. And a whopping £18 service charge, I don’t begrudge paying service charge, in fact I’m all for it, however in this instance the service was shocking, some food just ok some not ok. We didn’t wish to pay such an amount. Not sure what’s going on as used to be spot on. But wouldn’t return in a hurry! Waste of £180!

So disappointed with my booking, a double birthday lunch with my sister from America and myself from Southafrica flew in for my mother’s birthday. We were told to hurry up as there was a big function arriving. The manageress didn’t even put the starter down before telling us that we need to hurry and leave in 45 mins. What a miserable experience, a pushy and unskilled “manageress” thank god for Kensani our charismatic waiter which was great. What a waste of time that outing was.

I love this place, but I was given a wet chair. I don't mind standing in the bar as long as my pants are dry. So 2 star for now.

We came in a family group of 5 for the restaurant. The food was lovely but for the price, the service was shocking. The first server who sat us down Thihansa was very helpful and polite. Our drinks and mains arrived quickly which we tucked into and enjoyed, however when shifts changed our new server Shannon was incredibly rude. Our table was completely ignored from then onwards. After a while trying to get the attention of Shannon and other staff members, we had decided we were not bothering with desserts. Nobody came to take payment. We had our gotten our coats on and still nothing. We got up starting to leave and only then did somebody run over to take payment. We chose not to pay the extra service charge at this point. All the staff were just stood around talking to each other. I also noticed Shannon treating the tables either side of us very differently. Very over the top and friendly with them but blunt with us. It’s a shame really, because they lost out on a generous tip which we usually leave. Our family were quite annoyed by the time we left, and we won’t be returning.

Lovely chilled vibe, even though it was a chilly December lunch sun the sun was shining, it felt like I was on holiday in med just off the beach.

First visit was on Friday afternoon for lunch. I was extremely impressed with the menu, a lot of seafood options, which I was informed changes seasonally. This review for me is not just for those who are reading it, but it’s also for the owner and management. The young gentleman that served us who has been practising his Spanish, Learning from the chefs was extremely engaging and knowledgeable. If it was down to me on that day, I would’ve come back here in the evening for dinner however we chose to go somewhere else. We returned the following evening for an espresso martini, It was getting late so we asked the young girl who was waiting on our table if we could have a pizza and how long would it take? She told us that due to the fact we had a youngster, she would bring it out sharpish, and the pizza landed on our table within about 15 minutes, even though the establishment was packed. I already can’t fault the place, and I honestly believe this could be franchise out across the country, The decor is tiptop and 10 out of 10 I could be sat in any of the top cities in the world or any of the top island destinations. The staff are all smartly dressed and you get that Vip feel. Overall Decor, service and food 10/10. I literally cannot fault the place and I’ve travelled a lot. All I would say is, if the chap wants to park his SLK out the front with his dog, that he doesn’t needed to lock his car as the alarm was constantly going off. If your dog is that big and scary, in your hair dressers car you don’t need to lock the door.

Professional, attentive, and friendly staff, with comfortable surroundings. Great location overlooking the beach. The drinks menu is extensive, and the coffee (their own blend) is excellent 👌 Will return to sample their food offerings, which looked great coming past us. The menu is decently ranged and tailored to the fact that they use a Josper grill/oven, priced on the higher side, but quality is worth paying for 👍

A foreigner on the Promonade, the Beach House offers amazing drinks and great food! The service is on point with the front of the house being superbly handled. The pizza is amazing! I came back a second night to enjoy the Negronis and to get another pizza. Considering the options for good food and drinks, I'll be back a third night for drinks and the lobster!
