Nice coffee but miserable staff. No-one seemed to be in charge. It was busy when I was there, which is good to see, but I felt the atmosphere was uncomfortable.

Visited with friends. Lovely pot of tea and beautiful cakes almost too good to eat. Friendly staff and nice surroundings. £3 for a perfect cupcake. Will visit again

Great little place in Barry, great coffee and nice food selection on the menu. Staff great and definitely recommend. Latte for my wife and I had a Mocha( see pic) great selection of cakes and treats. Dog friendly with about 7 small tables with 2/3 seats on them.

After I was let down last minute for my daughters fourth birthday cake I called the cake boutique not expecting them to be able to help me. Not only did the delightful owner help me, she put me totally at ease right away. She made the most beautiful cake and cupcakes with only a weeks notice. Absolutely first rate product and service. Thank you so much!

The Vale Cake Boutique offers first class customer service! They have an excellent selection of cakes as well as other options for breakfast or lunch. Their coffee is also first class! Highly recommend a visit!

Nice little coffee shop but too expensive in my opinion £3.50 for two slices of toast??? Afraid I won’t be back at these prices

Our second visit to this great cafe. Interesting and tasty food in a very pleasant boutique cafe on High Street in Barry. Well worth a visit. Great friendly service. High Street is slightly away from the town centre and full of interesting independent shops that are extremely tempting!
