The Turf Family Pub in Telford and Wrekin

We were staying in the nearby Grove Guest House and this was the nearest pub which served food. I'm so glad we went. All the food is home made and the vegetable curry was one of the best I've ever had. On top of all that the prices were so low! And that's not something I say very often.

Have eaten here for Sunday lunch a few times now. The roast dinner is excellent, freshly cooked, large portions and very good value. Would say is the nicest local place for Sunday lunch. Friendly service and atmosphere.

First time to this gem Both had Sunday Roast amazing value and really enjoyed it also had dessert the Baileys Cheesecake is amazing Very friendly great atmosphere was very busy we will be back

An amazing meal for two at the turf pub in Telford on Friday the 19th of May. 2023. would highly recommend the mixed grill. The meal is massive. My girl friend had the chicken pie with mushrooms. she said that was so yummy. can’t wait to try their Sunday lunch soon.

I have had food there many times and i can't fault it at all, fast sirvice and excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Whether you're a family or going on solo outing the Turf offers a range of experiences. You can have dinner , roast, breakfast or buffet. Their food is typical pub grub. I've had several meals here and most have been superb. They offer a range of drinks and even as a pub offer entertainment. It's worth a go if you're in the area.

Amazing Sunday lunch, excellent value for money, plenty of choice, polite, helpful staff. Plenty of outside seating. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had food here on Tuesday night after travelling from Durham. We had gammon, fish and chips, and a jacket potato. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed everything, very filling, no room for desert. Spent Wednesday visiting grandson and returned in the evening for food. Didn't disappoint this time either. 2xgammon and a cottage pie. Had to leave some gammon for the dog so I could have pud. Can't go wrong with the price, staff friendliness, and speed of service. Will definitely return on next trip down there Thank you

Met friends here for breakfast on a Saturday. Decent breakfast and strong tea in comfortable surroundings and very reasonably priced. The pub is trying to be a family venue which I credit them for its never going to be top end but its not trying to. I would visit again if in St georges.
