I have been back here several times and would definitely recommend. An amazing selection of teas and the coffee is delicious. Scones and cakes are moist and tasty. The decor is bright and uplifting. The staff are polite and helpful. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I love this place. A real little gem in Wellington. And...best carrot cake I've ever tasted! Friendly staff and great ambience.

Visited Beatons with a mate in January after an excellent walk up The Wrekin and really glad we did! Welcome and service from the staff were first rate and the English Breakfast Tea we received (and there was a good selection to choose from) was very nice indeed. The highlight though had to be the cake - I received a humongous piece of carrot cake which was one of the nicest I've had for a long time...and I eat a LOT of (carrot) cake. Beatons is a great place and we'd definitely visit again if/when our walking adventures bring us back to the area.

A very smart new cafe right in the centre of Wellington. Lots of varieties of teas and coffees plus cakes and lunches/ breakfasts. Friendly service and excellent location.

Visited with a friend and our babies for some lunch and we were welcomed with open arms by the staff. The food and the selection of teas were incredible, as were the cakes. The staff were so helpful and accommodating for us when we needed to change and feed our babies. We very much enjoyed our visit and I’m sure that we will be back soon!

The newly opened Beatons cafe (and books) is a pleasant evironment, very white and lots of free newspapers (which is a great idea). Also good wi-fi and a great selection of teas and cakes. There is a lunch menu which I did not try. Helpful service and a loyalty scheme and an interesting 'Beatons' cafes newsletter. There is a small selection of books for sale, which could be improved with more local books but overall a great new cafe!

This branch is relatively newly opened and the decor and furnishings are fresh and appealing. The service was fine and friendly and the coffee and hot chocolate we ordered were brought to our table and were very pleasant.

We found Beatons Tea Room on a rare trip into Wellington today and so glad we did. It is absolutely lovely. I cannot recall ever seeing a list of teas quite as comprehensive and the food menu has great choice and everything I saw being taken to customers caused food envy, even though I wouldn't of changed my choice of the lovely home made celery soup which came with a warm fresh crusty cob and I chose the soup option with half a sandwich not realising that as well as the sandwich it still came with the cob and the sandwich was garnished with fresh salad and coleslaw. David chose a piece of fresh Victoria Sandwich which looked as good as it tasted. There is a menu for people with dietary issues and there is always at least one gluten free cake on the table. If you live in Wellington and shop there is please support Beatons or if you are reading this review as a visitor to Wellington you will be impressed at what there is to offer here. Either way, I hope Beatons is a success and stays in the town

I ordered from here for the first time today we had a adults beef and a child’s turkey both would of done enough for 2 dinners , The roast potatoes and gravy were to die for Plenty of vegetables that were cooked just right . Our food came hot as it had just been put out on the table .. Then we had chocolate brownies and custard for pudding which was delightful Will definatley be using here again it’s about time there was somewhere decent that did a fresh homemade roast dinner

We only found this place two days ago and have been back again today. The food is delicious and very cheap without any compromise on quality. The staff are lovely and the place is spotless. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Visited here for Sunday lunch while visiting Telford for the weekend. Found bar staff a little abrupt to begin with and then quite regimented with their 'sitting time' - there's 12.15, 2.15 or 4.15pm. We weren't allowed to order until our set time then found ourselves waiting for 35 minutes for our meals. We couldn't understand this as staff knew how many people were booked in and were only cooking roast lunches! Food was good when it arrived, all fresh vegetables and homemade Yorkshire pudding. Roast potatoes were over cooked and almost hollow, other than that the food was generally good. Not sure we'd go again, it was a strange one!
